(From 17 June 19) The dealership contacted us 2 days after this occurred and offered us $18,200 for our trade in, which we felt was enough to justify going back. The staff openly apologized that they had instituted a policy that they did not know 100%, particularly Ron from sales (my apologies, can't remember his last name). Long story short, we left very happy and with a new 4Runner. Can't give 5 stars due to them not knowing the policy to start, but I can up it from 2 to 4 for them fixing themselves and sticking to their word to the best of their ability. We will be back for maintenance, absolutely.
On 15 June 2019, my wife and I went here for a new 4Runner and left pretty disappointed. First things first, I want to say that our salesman, Jesse Baker, did fantastic in regards to trying to get us taken care of in any way he could. Our review is not based on his service because he was great. My issue came with our trade-in. We were trading a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek and they kept saying they'll beat the KBB cash value. We put our Subaru through it's paces and KBB valued it at $18,350. However, when it came time to crunch numbers, they wouldn't offer more than $16,500. Why advertise something so fervently when you are unwilling to follow through with it? You take pride in partnering with KBB but when it benefits the customer and not you, it isn't honored.
Needless to say, we did not purchase the 4Runner. It will be very difficult for us to justify going back.
5/5 would recommend this dealership. It was my first time buying a car from a dealership and John in financing and Randy in sales made the process easy to understand and were very kind and helpful overall.

Jeff Froseth is legitimately an amazing sales person. I have worked with/been friends with him for five years now. It was time to renew my lease and he found me the exact pickup I was looking for. Even though I am in the industry, he still took the time to make sure I was comfortable with my new features. That kind of made me take a second look at the situation. He knew I could find the answers on my own, but still proactively took the time to do so. That says a lot about his character as well as his work ethic. I would suggest Jeff to anyone that is considering purchasing a new or pre-loved vehicle. If he can take a half an hour of his time to walk his prior #1 competitor through a features demonstration, I can promising you that he will take care or everyone he encounters. I am honestly happy with my experience, and I endorse and suggest Jeff to anyone in the market for a vehicle.
I had an incredible experience with Israel Perez. He was incredibly helpful in getting me set up with an 08 Chevy Equinox! He went above and beyond to get me a bunch of additional information to ensure everything was taken care of with the vehicle I just bought. I did get my vehicle from the clearence section of the shop, but Israel was phenomenal. Very very grateful to have had the experience that I've had at this great establishment.

Can't say enough good about these guys. If you are looking for laid back sales and fair pricing, check them out. I have been buying cars from sales manager Steven since before he came to MAC and working with Mike and Jason on our Jeep purchase was an awesome experience. We called and inquired about it only to arrive in the evening to find it parked by the door waiting for us to take it for a spin. Got in the vehicle and found the Carfax report waiting on the seat. We loved what we drove and had the deal wrapped up and out the door in no time. After years of car buying, I have experienced the grest and the extremely bad. These guys make the great seem just ok. The experience was great i wasnt talked into getting a car out of my budget and they worked with me...i went in for a 2010 senatra came out with a 2015 malibu! I couldn't believe it! I was so excited and happy. They worked after closing hours to make sure i was set to go without any questions. I would highly recommend them. They are also not overpriced the price u see on kelly blue book is they proce they sell they vehicles for sometimes less or a tad bit over but its worth it
That Tyler man was nicer than a Penny's discount. I'd recommend all to check out this car dealership. I even got one of those nice engine heaters already on it. Dont know who put it there. Never seen that in the south, but it sure seems handy.
I started by needing a seat belt retractor replaced. When I showed up for the time and day they scheduled, I wasn't on the schedule, so it took another day to fix it. When I picked it up to take home, the rear door close button didn't work, which was fine before I took it in. Scheduled another appointment to get that fixed correctly! They fixed that, then when I got home the key fob wasn't working like it did previously, so scheduled another appointment. This time they found when they were working on the seatbelt retractor or the close button they had broken the receiver for the fob. So on to scheduling another appointment, brought it back and they replaced the receiver, but the key fob is still not working. They said I needed to schedule another appointment with their electrical specialist to find the problem. So brought it in the day and time they specifically scheduled their specialist for and low and behold I was not on the schedule and by the end of that day no work had been done. I guess I am a glutton for punishment and am going to reschedule again. If they had not done the original work I would have been done with them. I will never do any business with this company for as long as I live here, which I hate to say, because I try to support local businesses, but it is amazing how they have such an unorganized and poorly run service department.

Josh was wonderful to work with and helped us make a great decision for our first vehicle purchase. He encouraged us to figure out what we liked and didn't like in a car to help us make the best choice for ourselves. He was honest and straight forward, something we both greatly appreciated. Lied to my husband and I scammed us, sold us an illegal vehicle. They were fully aware of what they done and have no intentions of making it right. Spoke to manager 2 times and still nothing was done.
We absolutely love our new car and Dan was really great to work with. He was relaxed as our kids became more and more bored and restless (Any parent knows how that goes ), he was knowledgeable with everything and quite helpful. We didn't feel pressured at all. It was overall a good experience. Oh and he said he'd be sure to tell the future owners of our trade her name is Aviva (It's important she keeps it haha)

I came to Minot Automotive loosely interested in upgrading to a newer vehicle but knowing it had to be one that would cover a very demanding list of needs. Not sure such a vehicle even existed or that it would be in my budget I met an outgoing, jovial salesman by the name of Kody Clark. As I began to explain this mystery vehicle to Kody I was expecting his attitude to enter the dumps as I knew there was no way he could ever come up with such a unicorn. To my surprise and dismay as I continued Kody's demeanor seemed to lighten to the point he was almost on fire! He took me outside and after a quick walk what I saw took my breath away..... There it was. The truck of my dreams. A short time later as I drove away in this breathtaking beauty my only regret was knowing that I couldn't take Kody home with my new truck!

I really loved Minot Automotive they helped me get into my very first car with ease! I have to say it was my pleasure coming to these guys, they took care of me!
I bought a 2007 Chevy Trailblazer with 130,000 miles for $7500 that passed two inspections with no issues. 45 days after purchase the engine quit four and half hours outside of Minot. The plates for the vehicle haven't even arrived yet. Since I was past the 30 days and purchased "as is" the company refused to tow it back to Minot and only would give me $500 maintenance towards replacing the engine. While legally they are not wrong. It is very unethical to just take my money and run. To replace the engine and tow it back will cost me almost $4000. With multiple dealers in town I would not purchase a used vehicle from this dealership. Coach and four cars is a better option.
I have always had a good experience purchasing vehicles from Minot Automotive. The service department is also really helpful! Karl, our salesman, was so amazing to work with, he was respectful of what I was looking for but made sure that I was fully aware of all of my options prior to making a purchase. Karl also ensured that we were receiving all of the coupons for our vehicle that we qualified for to ensure that we got the best price for our purchase.
The sales department is friendly and helpful enough, but the service department needs to get its act together. We just bought a brand new truck--750 miles on it--and the battery is stone dead or disconnected. We didn't leave the lights on, (and if we did, one night shouldn't kill a new battery) so somebody didn't check it before selling. That's a pretty basic component to inspect. What's worse? They can't service our vehicle for another two weeks because they're booked up. Maybe if they did the job well the first time, they wouldn't have so many vehicles to fix?

We leased a 2012 Toyota Rav4, and I love it! Cindy DeVries was awsome, coming in on her days off twice to finalize the sale and help with my doubts and questions. We were given GREAT financing that we just couldn't pass up and she made sure that we test drove enough vehicles to know exactally what we wanted. She was very knowlegeable and passionate, (it also helped that she also has a rav4 too) and was willing to show me options on her own personal vehicle. She guided us thru every step and gave us every option possible, asking questions along with us. They all were very flexable, even letting me take paperwork home for my husband to sign when he had to go back to work, the only compliant I have is that they didn't give me a very good trade in value for my car that I owned and were totally unwilling to budge to meet us half way on bluebook value. Polite, friendly, efficient staff. They even had treats for my emotional support dog. Lovely waiting area, and staff and even other clients asked to pet dog. We were there for an oil change and even though they were super busy it only took 1/2 hour. I would definitely recommend this company to other car owners because of the respect they show their clients and their expeditious service. Totally unlike my experience in Colorado.

Awful experience! They didn't seem very interested in helping us buy a car and were not very helpful. The sales consultant was weird about us wanting to test drive the cars and couldn't really answer any questions we had. Will not be returning! We went to Ryan's in Williston and they were great and helpful, would definitely recommend them over Minot Automotive Center!
Not happy with parts dept. at all, talked to two people at two different times, both said to bring back defective parts and they will exchange them. Had my wife drive 5 hour round trip and then they said they wouldn t replace them, thanks for nothing ,won t see me there again!

I had been dealing with them for a few days and bought a dodge pickup from Jesse. I test drove it and other than not having the snuff a new one does it drove fine at first. But after I put gas in and started south down 83. I drove 1 mile and the motor bogged way down, no power. I drove back home at 15-20mph. I did attempt to call him, no response. Will follow up in morn. Jesse and the staff were very friendly and hospitable and I'm sure when I speak to him they will make it right. When we get this settled I would like to continue to do business with them.

My wife and I had stopped into Minot Chrysler just to "look" to see what they had as far as pre-owned good fuel mileage cars. We found a 2008 Saturn that sparked some interest. We began talking with a very pleasant young lady named Kacy Akin. Kacy answered some questions that we had and offered a test drive, which we took. When we returned we talked about a possible purchase, which I told her was NOT happening that day. But after we continued talking and I did some more investigating on the car, her informative and no pressure demeanor had me leaning more and more toward an eventual purchase. The dealership is a bright, clean, pleasant place. We will be back if we need to ever look for another vehicle, and we hope to find Kacy again as she made the purchase of our car a very pleasant and somewhat fun event, she is certainly an asset to Minot Chrysler.

They will sell you a car. And that s where the service ends. I made an appointment for service and waited 8 hours before having to drive home (to an adjacent town) in a rental because they didn t get to my vehicle. Another appt for a rotate and leak check, and they tried to send me home without rotating my tires, without checking my tire pressure, and without checking for a leak. They apologized and still charged me for the service. I would give them zero stars if I could. Absolute garbage service. Take your vehicle anywhere else.

The service center needs to be investigated for fraud. They claimed all my brakes needed to be replaced. Got a 2nd opinion, and found they were trying to BS me out of $1600.

Very informative and helpful. I especially like the "best purchase price" policy, since I'm not good at haggling. The car I purchased was quite a bit below the MSRP, so I'm pretty happy with my purchase.
I do wish that Toyota and other dealerships had a list of documents that first time buyers could look over to bring to the sale. Had I known ahead of time that a bill with my address was required for the finance manager, I wouldn't have had to waste about an hour leaving the dealership to find it and run back.

When we bought our car from their smaller branc; cartiva clearance, we called to let dealer know we were on our way with form of payment and when we pulled up we saw the dealer in car with food pulling up and then when we were going to do paper work the dealer was texting and sending messages to wife as I saw them constantly popping up o computer screen he was using.

It was good However i felt like as soon as i did decide on what i wanted. Well lets just say it was rushed. Took it like ok they knew how much profit they were gonna get. So lets rush it threw. Granted it was over New Years so there was a break of them closing. However when i picked it up. They were happy for us and went threw the things again, but really quickly again. Like i felt ok Congrats, but see ya!! They didnt even go over what options i could get. I had to name off that i wanted this or that.
Just happened to take a drive through their lot and they had the exact make and model with options I was looking for. Nickolas the sales rep was super easy to talk with and the sales dept did a good job overall of finding a fair price for my trade and getting through the paperwork quickly and easily.
