My husband and I had a great day of conversation, education, and shopping about our favorite thing. Dogs, dog training, dog sports, and hunting. The tick disease and prevention education was a bonus.
Great place to get sample dog food bags. Going on the last day can also produce boxes of sample food that maker don't want to take back to there company.
It was a great time. Lots of stuff to do and see and the kids really enjoyed it as well.

Very nice. lots of good conversations and information. A little warm, but otherwise nice. Dog jump is always cool to watch.

It was a good day watching hunting dogs compete, looking at new hunting equipment to think about, and several interesting seminars. If you are a hunter or dog lover, you will have a good time at this event.
I wish this event lasted longer than 2 weekends. It's a kick off to fall and hunting season for us and our dogs.

I grew up in Anoka. I've always avoided the game fair. Now haven't participated in it I will go every year, bring the kids!!!

Visited for the first time, and had a good time. We came looking for a specific vendor and we're unable to find them, so I wish there was a more clear map of vendors, but we still had a good time browsing around. We brought our dog and we're happy that most people seemed to have their dogs under control, and he didn't react poorly to the shots being fired, so that was cool!!! (He is not a hunting dog)
Always a fun time at the fair! First time my 3 year old went and loved it! We love watching the doggos jump off the docks!

Game fair is full of fun! They have everything one would want if they are into hunting. There are professional skeet shooters(which was really fun to watch! ), falconers (beautiful birds up close! ), dog jumping, food, fun, and tons of vendors for all your hunting indulgences or doggie delights! It's located in a beautiful, scenic area. We even got to watch the release of many monarch butterflies, which included many of the kids in the audience participating! A great time for the whole family!
Took our dogs with us. The have watering stations everywhere and lots of games for the dogs to play. You do pay for the dog games but it was a dollar a game and we all had fun,
The vendors are always extra helpful, lots of exciting exhibits and demonstrations

We love going to the game fair. The kids love watching the dogs do the events and it is always fun. Lots of food choices and tons of vendors for gaming and dogs.

Overwhelming! Huge event. Lots of vendors with fair pricing! The parking will cost you $5-10 in neighboring properties. Food vendors I site don't gouge you which is nice. Plan to spend a long time here to take it all in.

Spent too much money on all the great products available. Also, can't beat seeing so many cute puppies!! I recommend stopping by the DU booth and watching some dog trials.

1st time I've been to this. Smaller then I thought it would be. Saw lots of dogs and proud owners. Thought there would be more pheasant related things (clothes, Mn. Areas to hunt)
Great day! Was fun watching the dogs perform. I especially liked the dock diving! Armstrong Kennels is a fantastic place to board your dog too.
Great selection of vendors from almost every outdoor activity. They also welcome dogs (need to fill out dog info form), which is great. Recommend parking at Central Park. It's some of the cheapest parking around the event and they have shuttle buses to take you right to the front gate.
If you like any kind of bird hunting this is the fair for you

Best outdoor event for hunters, fishers and dog trainers
Not as good as it used to be. I go there to see gaming related stuff such as firearms, blinds, bows, waterfowling items and such. I dont go there to get new windows, doors, gutters or siding for my house. All in all it is fun seeing the dogs compete. I will say if you have a dog you should bring them along too as there are people everywhere who love dogs. I would also recommend getting the sunfish dinner from the Ron schara stand if your hungry, it is phenominal.
Great day there on that day. Would recommend that you go and check this place out. If you have never been. You can learn a lot about yourself and what they have to offer.

During game fair it's crazy busy! Best parking, closest, able to return to your car if you want to eat lunch at your vehicle instead of paying 8+ for a burger....park on kangaroo street, SECOND house on the right! You will never park any where else again! Vendors welcome, and select camping with electric available. $10.00 per day for parking. Come by and ask about camping for vendors..
