Best gym value in the city, by far. A little on the advanced side (V1's can be laughably technical) but that's just about every climbing gym in the US. 24 hour access with an annual membership and a hard-working community that almost has a sense of humor about itself. Not bad, right?

Fantastic setting and a friendly community. Training space is small, but has everything you need to get strong, and is usually not crowded. Definitely my favorite gym in the Twin Cities!

The Minnesota Climbing Coop is the best place to climb in the Twin Cities, simply because of the community. The community here is friendly, inclusive and supportive of all climbing abilities. Keep up the great work!

Amazing place for bouldering and getting your climbing fix on. It's a co-op, so if you're a member you can Boulder here at any hour of the day. Can't sleep? 2:00am? No big deal, go bouldering! Get off work outside 9-5? Or perhaps you work second shift? No big deal! If you're a member you can come and go at any hour.

This climbing gym has everything I want:

This climbing gym has everything I want:
- relatively cheap membership price ($299/year for full time students)
- 24/7 access
- creative setting (although I wish there were more V7s and V8s)
- gymnastics rings
- friendly people
- a lack of screaming children

I love it!!!

This place has some of the best sets in the Twin Cities. They do so much with the amount of space they have and the staff is wonderful. Plus, the access pass means you can come here any time of day! If you sleep poorly, just come here at three in the morning and bump your own tunes while getting send after send! There are a lot of fantastic new bouldering spots, but the community and the setting here keep me coming back.

I wandered into the Coop about 5 years ago. At the time, I could barely cross the street on my own so it was a miracle that I found the semi-hidden entrance to the place. I have been a big fan ever since. It s true, the coop doesn t have all the bells and whistles of the bigger, more expensive gyms. Locker rooms? Sorry. Vending machine? Nope. Empty yoga room that nobody uses? Please. A class on How to Cook Spam at the Crag 101? Uh I wish.

What the coop has to offer is a cozy, supportive environment to climb. Off-hours are very quiet if you want to sneaky get strong. Or you can come in during open hours when the place has great vibe with a friendly, welcoming community.

This place is my second home! Best place to train indoors in Minnesota-dare I say the Midwest? Super fun problems ranging from V0-V11ish. Rad climbers with sweet music! Go here if you live in the TC and wanna do some indoor climbing. Screw VE! Oh and no little ones running around beneath you! A great place no matter your skill level!

This is a great place to explore if you're into gym bouldering. Odd hours because if you buy a certain membership, you get 24 hour access. Fairly regular problem changes. Sometimes a little busy, sometimes you have everything to yourself. Some workout equipment is available. Don't forget to turn off the lights if you're the last one out!

Good facility with some pretty incredible problems to work on. However, open climb became really crowded when my wife and I went to climb. There were some apparent "regulars" who seemed to give us "outsiders" the cold shoulder. TL;DR: go for the challenge, beware of the cliques.

Definitely a personal favorite. I work at one of the other climbing gyms in the cities and appreciate being able to climb in a quieter, more personal space while I'm not at work. It feels like home every time I walk in, and I've gotten significantly stronger climbing here. This is a close-knit community and a good space to make new friends or just do your own thing, depending on how you feel. The setting is solid, and I love that it's a co-op!
