It seemed a little short ? Or I might have missed something. I enjoyed talking to Tahiti. Such a lovely sweet lady. However, it was hard for me to hear her talking because of the other art pieces in the exhibit that were relatively loud.

Totally love seeing culture again. Great museum. It's a maze, make sure you stay with group. Lots of rooms of awesome art history you've probably haven't seen before. I love this place because it's artist I'm not familiar with. I could be here all day. I have . Was I allowed to take photos? I hope so

Of Course I am only adding a few pictures. You must go and see this wonderful place for yourself. We stayed all day and we did not get to see everything. There was one or two exhibits that were off limits at the time unfortunately. It would take one 2 days to see everything.

The MIA is simply put the crown jewel of MSPs art, culture, and history. Whether you are a long time resident or just passing through, do not miss this truly excellent collection of historic to modern art and artifacts.

The MIA also runs an exceptional set of family programs, from free art, music, and historical activities. The children's theater is also very popular, make sure to get tickets in advance.

General exhibits are free, though please donate if you are able. Special exhibits do cost extra.

Everyone has a favorite exhibit and I'm sure you'll find yours. Visit and see if you can find mine, "the veiled lady."

What a pleasant surprise! This is a huge museum, with all sorts of exhibits and great explanatory captions. And it's free! You could spend days here. They have the requisite Chihuly glass sculpture suspended at the entrance, and a Chinese doorway, and an old Tatra automobile, plus native art from many cultures, and the standard museum paintings and sculptures. Don't miss it.
