First time for us, now that a location works for us. Loved the food, good portions and the taste was authentic. Great vibe from the staff and although the place was empty when we got there, the place was hopping by the time we left! Definitely going back.

Really great pizza on Church Street in Burlington, although kinda pricey on the speciality pizzas. Definitely hit the spot after a day of skiing.

Good food for good prices. Great value for the portions. The pasta isn t anything you haven t had before, but it s a great family restaurant. I will go back for sure.

Stopped in with my housemates on the way to Burlington for lunch. The service was fast and very polite, and the food was fantastic! Ordered the chicken parmesan entree, and it came out amazing.

Love this place. Big portions for a reasonable price. 5 stars all day. My fave is chicken primavera with linguini (pink sauce).

Absolutely shocked. Had ordered from the Essex location in the past and the pizza was outstanding. We just had a large pie delivered from the Shelburne rd location and paid almost $30 for a pizza that is just the worst we have ever had. The crust appears to be premade. You can see for yourself how spongy/cakey it is, it tastes exactly like a premade boboli cardboard crust you get at the store. This crust had to be sitting around precooked for awhile. Got down one piece and we are still hungry :(

I am blown away by the customer service ( the owner greeting us!!!?!!! Whaaaaat??) and the yummy food. Chicken parmigiana cooked to perfection, delivered HOT and quickly. Where are the less than perfect reviews coming from?

Food and service were excellent. Staff were willing to do a previous special of the day for the couple at the table next to us as well.

Fantastic, just like the other locations! The owner, Dominic, is the nicest guy. We got to watch him personally make our pizza.

Had never tried Mimmo's before tonight and went for it on a whim for something different. Despite the "new normal" and only being able to do take out, the meal was awesome! Had a calzone and the garlic twists and both were great even after a 1/2 hour drive home.

Had two pizzas and a salad. They were okay. Unmemorable. Nothing special - expected more.

One hour and thirty five minutes later ( I live 1000m from Shel road location btw) my delivery arrives....dried out like croutons....never again!

Great NY style pizza in VT. Our birthday child HAD to have Mimmo's for dinner and they were sweet enough to throw in birthday brownies and a Happy Birthday note as well!

OMG the food was amazing. Even though I only had the pene with their "Pink sauce" and the bread....well upgrade for the $1 to garlic bread!!! Yum

If I could rate this establishment with no stars I would. I have been a frequent patron for the past 3 months, the food and delivery is always wonderful until today. I placed my order as usual (south burlington location) using their online services. Within 5 minutes I received a phone call from the manager on duty, McKayla, who told me they could not deliver my order because it did not meet the $15 minimum charge and she did not understand why my order went through. In which I replied back, I have always ordered online (in my saved order history 8 times all under 15) and my orders are always under $15 and never had an issue with delivery, the guy who does the deliveries probably knows me pretty well because he just comes straight to my work area when delivering. Which she countered, well my delivery guy should know not to. I explained to her there is nowhere on their website or online ordering link that states a minimum delivery charge. She replied back saying well there is, can you add a soda to your order or something. (now after being rude she is asking me to pay more so I can have my original order delivered) I said No, the minimum is not stated anywhere on their site and I never had to in the past. In which she replied, fine I will have to call my manager then and hung up the phone. About 15 minutes later, the delivery guy showed up with my food. At this point I could not get past the point of the rude phone call, so I called Mimmos back and asked to speak to the manager, which was McKayla. I asked her, if my food was still going to be delivered, why call a frequent patron and be rude and ask them to buy more product from them. She said it was the delivery guys fault because he knows better (I do not see how a manager calling a frequent customer and being rude is a delivery employees fault) I told her I was speaking directly about the way she talked/treated me and it has nothing to do with the delivery man. She said she was trying to be nice the first time she talked to me and didn't realize I was a frequent customer and she was not aware there was no minimum stated on the website( again I would think before a Manager calls a frequent customer you would verify the correct terminology is listed online) I told her I would appreciate a phone call back from her manager, she said she would reprint my order slip and have him call me back this afternoon and hung up on me again. A second time. No apology, no recognition that she may have done something wrong. Very sad, the food is great. I love their chef salads, probably the best in town. However, I refuse to support a business that think its ok to call good customers and be rude and pressure them into purchasing more food when they don't even know what their website looks like. Especially when that said employee can't even offer an apology for their behavior. If they are okay with employing that type of people, that is their choice but they have lost my business.

Have always liked Mimmos and went to Essex many times to enjoy there food. Great news when they opened the place that is about 10 minutes. Best Bolonaise ever and the Chicken Balsamic salad is also great.

Best calzones in town. Haven't had the pizza yet chicken caesar salads are outstanding as well. Needs shredded cheese instead of powdered cheese but that's it

The food was amazing and the chef even made our wings extra hot upon our request! All the staff was great and we will be back for sure!!

Shelburne road location is far better than essex location. Delicious dishes every visit. Highly recommend!

If you are thinking about getting Olive Garden up the road, DON'T. Instead, drive about a mile up the road to Mimmos. I couldn't believe how good the food was. My favorite dish at any Italian restaurant is Eggplant Parm. Mimmos has the best yet. The eggplant was seasoned and cooked. perfectly. We also got their mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. I could tell they were made from scratch. And their garlic bread is also seasoned and toasted perfectly. Very friendly staff, and a great price (our meal was actually cheaper than what we pay for the same thing at Olive Garden). I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to brag on this restaurant. We found our new favorite Italian restaurant!

So happy they opened up in Burlington. I ve only eaten their pizza, which is delicious. I ve been looking for a decent NY style pizza in Vermont for years and this definitely the best I ve had. Staff was super nice and delivery was speedy. Definitely recommend!

food for price not bueno. but the server was amazing, I got drunk on my birthday, today! she got me a birthday canoli and didn't sing. I'm writing hey in for president, boom! I forgot her name because I am drunk. middle of the story be kind to your servers!

The kids pizza size was crazy huge. The regular pizza wasa good price for the size. Unbelievable great service from Violet. The ingredients were really fresh. I will recommend the pizza to any that would like this location. I can't say the same for the Essex location though. Myra is also an exceptional waitress there too.

I had never been to Mimmo's before as it was never close to where I live. Now I go there at least twice a month. I have never cared for Tiramisu before, got it as a replacement for what I originally wanted for dessert. I can say I loved theirs. Oh and the Balsamic Chicken Salad was delicious also.

I probably frequent Mimmo's more than any other restaurant. They have a decently priced menu and even better food. I highly recommend their penne alla vodka and their lasagna. I grew up in Boston and the North End was the American standard for these dishes, I prefer Mimmo's.

Food was good. Docked 1 star as I had issue with online payment. Trust site said CC was invalid but my credit card was charged anyways. It happened twice as the site said to try again. :-( I called to let them know what happened and placed our order. When we arrived 40 min later per our call, the food was not started so we had to wait an additional 30 min. Not sure I'd recommend to others at this point.

Great food. Great service. So good, I just ordered again for the second day in a row while in Burlington. This will be my new go to food when I travel here. Super impressed!!!

The food here is very bad this is not authentic Italian food in any way. It is extremely cheap, the bread is very bland the chicken parmesan was terrible. Basically anything on the menu will be gross guaranteed and I would never order a pizza from here or anything in the future.

It is sad that 'Sorriso Bistro' left and this place moved in to fill the gap. If you want great tasting authentic Italian food Mimmo's is absolutely not the place.

I got take out but the wait was minimal and the food was delicious. They are definitely better than any chain restaurant. Go get some good italian food here.

Rubbery chicken parm and garlic bread without any garlic. Disappointing

First time there. Really enjoyed the place. Menu had a nice variety. Had a couple drinks with the wife too. Sit down inside and out was available. We'll be back.

Horrible when I walked in I knew this place would be horrible Dirty place .I ordered a pizza in took nearly an hour I took it home and it was horrible. 1/5 Absolutely Disgusting

Although this is a table service restaurant, it's really casual. There's also a bar you can sit at. The menu is limited to pizzas, sandwiches and some pasta entrees. My wife loved her chicken florentine (very garlicky), but I was underwhelmed by the house special pizza: It wasn't very hot when it arrived, the crust was tough, and I had trouble telling the mushrooms from the sausage. Prices were about what you'd expect for this kind of dining (entrees less than $20). Service was friendly. Unfortunately the acoustics were terrible...very loud and difficult to have a conversation. I could barely hear the waitperson.

A great menu, clean comfy place to sit and eat, very nice staff.

Mimmos is always our 'go to' and now we have one on Shelburne Rd capably managed by Chris.
