Can I just point out that half of the people on here that are complaining about the school can't even be bothered to spell correctly... Maybe that shows what kind of student they were. It's an accelerated course system. One day = one to two weeks. Suck it up buttercup or at least read what you got yourself into.

This is the worst school I ve ever been too!! I went from medical assistant during the day and the teacher is so rude and disrespectful. Now don t get me wrong she knows her stuff but the way she teaches it s just rude. She makes you feel stupid for asking question. She would go through the book and tell us what was going to be on the test and what wasn t going to be on the test, and a lot of the stuff was on the test she said wasn t gonna be on the test. I don t know about night class or the other programs but do not I repeat do not go for medical assistant during the day!!! Also you can t go above the teacher she s basically top dog there and everybody is afraid of her.

Not accredited like I was told that they were, tests were all take home so if you want to be lazy, you can and still graduate!! For the vet tech program they didn't even have things in place!!! There was no agreement with places to have animals spayed or neutered. yet they are very quick to spend the 15,000!! Don't wasted you money or your time....

I decided to attend this school because I was interested in becoming a dental assistant. Everything sounded great and promising but in reality its not. If I have known that in the state of Wisconsin that you don't need to be certified or go to school to become a dental assistant I would have never done so. I have come across many assistants and NONE of them have been to school for the position. During my 8 months at this school, we were buckled down with LOTS of HOMEWORK!! The program should really FOCUS on hands on CLINICAL PROCEDURES vs book work because DOCTORS ONLY CARE ABOUT EXPERIENCE not book work. My externship site was really nice compared to my fellow classmates sites but I feel like I over achieved for absolutely nothing. They did not hire me on and decided to go behind my back to hire someone that fit their "mold" (polish, blond hair& blue eyes) of a dental assistant .and guess what, that person no longer works for them smh. I could not find a job as a dental assistant because everybody wanted someone with more experience and they thought that it was suspicious that my externship did not hire me. So 3 months later, I had to resort to working for a shady dental office that hires ANYBODY just to gain this so called experience. Problem is I'm not a real dental assistant just a body that takes X-rays all day. I'm trying to find work at small dental offices but they want people with actual skills. I am screwed!! I want to go back to school but feel like it's a waste of time and my CREDITS from this school WILL NOT TRANSFER over to other schools. My advice to you is to do your research. Find out if you need to go to school for the career your interested in. I wasted so much time, energy, and hope for this program for nothing.

I am an alumni from this school good experience while there, I have worked as a MA for 6 yrs now however, they say when you start their accredited and your credits will transfer Not exactly true..... they're accredited with two schools that are online soooo for those of you that want to further your career as a nurse this is not the school for you! your credits are worthless and your studies start from class one. I found my own first job, as they promise to help you find employment. financial aid staff is very rude. School is what you make of it so getting an education from MCC is possible but ONLY if the certificate program you pick is the only career you plan to have otherwise its a waste. GO TO A SCHOOL WHERE IF YOU EVER WANT TO FURTHER YOUR CAREER CREDITS WILL TRANSFER TO A 2 OR 4 YR COLLEGE. Good luck!!!!

I wish there were ways on here to give zero stars.

After my first day, I regretted continuing, but like the eager student I am, I paid my tuition completely at the start of the program. After the first week, it was clear this place a joke. Having no text books and a teacher who, when asked a question about any math subject, would say "I have a degree in English, skip the question." After a month we finally had textbooks, but we were passed the subjects we needed them for.

We finally got into our program and we had a teacher who was extremely rude. He would preach professionalism and then mock students and other groups of people when they were not around. The school would preach being accommodating to students with full time jobs, then theyd have teachers say, "that's not my problem" and hold us 3 hours past the end of class.

The externships are a joke. There is no communication between the externship site and the school. One day you are doing great, the next day you are pending expulsion. They teach you with dolls and stuffed animals, and you get no experience -- AT ALL -- with live people or pets. Then get mad and embarrassed when you are unable to do something in a real life situation. It is insane that this institution is allowed to continue their for profit teaching standards.

At the end of the program, I asked for my money back. I didn't learn anything, I felt embarrassed to tell people where I was attending and was mad at myself for wasting the near $20,000 I spent here. It was a waste of time. I only got an iPad out of the deal. They never even considered giving me my money back because they probably blew through it already.

Also, on a side note, their "accounting" department is a joke. You walk in the room and you feel like you walked into a money laundering scheme. Papers everywhere and no sign of organization, but they are getting their grimy hands on your money.

Don't waste your money, do not go here! It is not a real school and they do not care about you.

I completed the dental assistant program at Milwaukee Career College. It is a very hands on, fast paced program, that prepares you for a job in the dental field right after completing the program. The program chair, Mrs. Maria, is very knowledgeable and knows everything you need to know about the dental field. She is a very helpful resource and instructor that is always there to answer any questions you might have about anything and is always there to help you out with things you might not understand. Career Services also a very good resource, they assist you in writing your resume and prepare you for interviews. Milwaukee Career College really sets you up for success upon finishing the program.

I personally had a horrible experience and would never recommend this school to anyone.
They pull you in with empty promises such as job placement.
They have Instructors that are not certified to be teaching but can teach because they passed the course themselves.
Waste of time, not a lot of hands on work. I learned more in my 6 weeks of externship then I did the WHOLE time I attended this school.

I am currently attending this school and the staff are VERY RUDE! Everything seems sweet and peachy in the beginning but it s not as good as it seems. One of the staff members told me she does not have to respect me because she is the authority! Which if I m not mistaken you still have to give respect to get it, we are all adults! I will not be belittled by someone just because they are authority! I would not recommend this school to anyone!!

I thought this school was great at first, but they over charge for the vet tech program because there is no where else to go around here. It is very unorganized and I wouldn't even consider it a college. People shouldn't be forced to pay triple the amount that the program costs at every other community college because it is the only one around here.
