Do not use this company!!!!!! The installation guy damaged my property with his truck and they haven t got the courtesy to call me back after numerous calls!
Not so good last cpl of visits food greasy and fish somewhat mushy I don't know why. On the other hand very polite and helpful delivery driver Steven.
Their pre inspection surveyor confirmed no asbestos. As did i (qualified construction consultant trained for years in asbestos awareness) then some young lad comes to install the stuff and within 30 seconds says cant do it cos of asbestos and he disappears. Called the company and they said they cant come back until we get (and pay for) a full asbestos survey. Its clear as crystal that its good old safe fibreglass!!! Useless.
Don't you think it's strange how their are 3 reviews on here that have ALL given them 5 's ALL without any explanation, ALL within same time frame as this review first appeared (mine has been edited to include this observation)? That in itself should scream alarm bells, this company should not be trusted at all.
What an absolute bloody nightmare! The work men thought it was completely acceptable to do only 2 out of the 3 walls with the in-wall cavity insulation on a house where a vulnerable frail lady lives (my mum). How s that going to fully retain the heat of the house during winter? This was despite having 2 assessments (one from the Green Doctor, a local charity who tackle fuel poverty who were fantastic) and another assessor who works for this company. Both assessors agreed that all 3 walls could be done - and done easily without so much of a hint of a problem.
They eventually finished the job (3 weeks after starting it) after saying they required scaffolding, (even though I insisted that entering the walls from inside was a better option) Eventually, they arranged the scaffolding - and this was at their cost, that was made very clear by the jobs worth on the phone, an admittance that they had done wrong? Maybe?
My point is, this should have been a really simple job, to complete although it was made harder by them. They ve cut corners, given me a load of bull, and coursed myself and my mother stress.
My advice, if you re unlucky enough to work with these, you ll require tenacity, resilience and determination to get the job done, and done properly. Every person that we encountered could not be trusted.
The insulation carried out was not good. After Complaing i got the normal spiel it meets the specs at time of insulation. Do your home works guy's i was referred through help-link. I wont be recommending them.
