Brought my husband to emergency room, a lot of people waiting, not one person was bought in a long span of time, one person was having a hard time breathing and was treated rudely by the receptionist and was totally ignored by other staff members. I know that I don't understand the situation and maybe there was a reason why she was left out there and ignored but when you have other people around you're setting an example for what's going to happen when it's their turn. I believe we all matter and should be treated with respect in a difficult situation

I have always had the best of care at Middlesex Hospital whenever I've lived in Middletown & needed a hospital over the years (I'm now going on 80yrs.). Recently I've had a breast removed due to cancer & am still undergoing treatment. I've been in good hospitals & bad hospitals throughout the country (I've lived in 14 states...some of them more than once),& I can tell you you won't find any "better" care anywhere.

Whatever you do, make sure you aren t under care by Dr. Justin goralnik - hes openly talking about how he doesn t want to treat patients because of their vaccination status. That s absolutely HORRIFYING considering that people and families are trusting him with their lives.

Can someone help me understand why this hospital doesn t perform ultrasounds??? I m asking because a loved one of mine recently went to the ER for heavy bleeding and severe uterine pain that left her in tears! Rather than perform an ultrasound at the ER, she was told that she should schedule an appointment with her doctor to have an ultrasound performed. However, the doctor was the one recommended my loved one to go to the ER. Needless to say, we were all left confused and highly disappointed. Also, while we were waiting to be seen by someone, another patient was going into shock and vomiting .

Your not safe in this hospital. This ER is filthy, they stack patients in hallways, ZERO for cleanliness. If you have an emergency go to Meriden/new britain anywhere but here!

I fell ill while traveling through CT which required hospitalization. I couldn't have been in better care. Very knowledgeable hospital staff who were very atentative to my needs and cognizant of the difficulties of being away from home.

I went by ambulance on 7/12 from Urgent Care. The young female doctor I had was horrible. Seemed like she didn t care to busy on her phone and chatting. Even though everyone thought I was having a TIA stroke, should have gone to Hartford Hospital since the doctor who did my heart catheter called her on what to do. So much more I can say but I won t.

Went to the ER for an infection cleared it up Very fast very nice staff gave me my first dose of medication here by far best hospital I've experienced

I have never been to a more caring, professional, and CLEAN hospital. The care given to my father was top-notch. My mother's surgery featured the most competent and caring doctor I have ever met, and everyone on the staff was fantastic too. We are so fortunate to have Middlesex as our community hospital.

Extremely disappointed in the patient care here. Came in after a bad head injury followed by headache and puking for my 7 year olds son. Their digital estimated wait time was 35 mins which was completely inaccurate. We waited for over 3 hours before a doctor would see us. As soon as they said my sons symptoms were indicative of COVID, they treated us like the black plague. They acted annoyed when my sweet 7 son was asking for Motrin because his head kept getting worse. Nurse was very rude and said nope I m not doing anything until the doctor orders it and was frustrated with me when I asked when we may see the doctor (now going on 2 hrs 40 mins of waiting) I said I was concerned because he puked so much and was getting very lethargic and was hoping for ice chips she said once again nope in a very orated mood. She was rude and very disrespectful to me and my son. You don t feel like a patient here, you feel like a burden of a body.
