I went into this school wanting to become an illustrator, now I'm three years in and absolutely despise this school and prefer to be a writer. I'm constantly stressed, depressed, and anxious due to classes that I have no interest in and that are super irrelevant to my old and new carrier path. Things manage to gets worse every quarter and honestly wish I jumped ship back in week one. Don't go here if you value your self worth or happiness.

I have been in the industry for 22 years and have yet to hire anyone from this school worth while.. I felt my civic duty to save people the money. We end up training and teaching them some of the most basic skills.

Too pricey and will likely put you in debt. Who tf is paying 40k to a school with no guarantee you will succeed in life. If I'm paying that much I'm supposed to win a Grammy at this point. They dont seem to take you serious when your a teen tryna apply for that college.

I went to this school for a year before I realized the education wouldn't prepare me to get a job in my field (Animation). Their animation instructors do not have industry experience or even websites to check their work. This is a very expensive school and many of the students who graduate from this place leave with no jobs and a huge amount of student debt. You're better off getting an associates degree from Miami-Dade and applying to a reputable school like Ringling.

I loved this school! I graduated in 2009 with a BA in Fashion Merchandising and if there was a MA program for my major I would've went for it because I was sad to leave. My coursework, professors, and projects were excellent along with special events and student activities and volunteer opportunities. You get as much from the school as you give.

My only issue is how very expensive it was (and still is). None of my projects cost less than $100 either and there is one due at the end of each 11 week course plus textbooks, etc. If you decide to attend, be serious about your work, making contacts, etc. to get more value for your dollar!

It is a huge amount of money, but the fashion design program is pretty thorough. I felt that I had a great experience and it allowed me to really take my art seriously. The professors are wonderful. Sure, there are some bad eggs, but every college has a few of those.

I just got there and i love it so far, my tuition went down about 75% thanks to scholarships and financial aid. (doesn't mean i won't have some debt, its an expensive school)
The teachers i got are awesome and the people too, they lend you equipment if you need to and they try to help you as much as they can. Computers are great and always have the latest software (all of the adobe cc for example) I don't get the bad reviews to be honest.

----graduate review----
My initial thoughts were right, but after a while you feel like you aren't learning anymore and you're just wasting time. It's still a good school, but if I had had the chance to go to another university like Ringling, I would've.

Was marked a dropout instead of a graduate. Animation students are treated terribly. Never updated our equipment or software licenses during the quarantine, had no way to complete any assignments for our classes. Was forced to graduate with no thesis. Professors are lazy and prejudice. The school even hires professors who have been blacklisted. You do the staff workers jobs for them since they re too lazy to do so. Can t believe I had to go to this school. These are just the sins this school had committed off the top of my head. Don t do work-study here either. We re outright called bottom-feeders compared to the department. Aspiring animators and artists beware.
