Had everything we needed all in one location! We stayed at the MGM Signature and it was just amazing! The decor and lighting was elegant and stylish! Plenty of places to choose from to eat and drink! The lazy river and different pool selections were really nice!
Overall very good. The hotel has gone fully digital. Be careful of the parking costs. Rooms are very clean, service is excellent. Lots of people... to be expected here in Vegas. The crew does a great job at keeping the entire casino clean. Prices have really gone up on everything. Bring your own water if possible, if you are like me and drink 1 gallon a day it will get very expensive. Even with masks, still a great time!
One word to describe MGM, loud, so loud everywhere you go! By the pool they just blast the music, so if you're the party type then you'll love it, if you want to find some peace and quiet then stay somewhere else. Other than that the grounds and facilities are clean, the rooms comfortable and the staff friendly. We booked 4 nights, left after one and found something that suited us better.
Stayed here 7 years ago and it didn't seem as rundown as it did this stay. We were constantly running out of hot water. Had to complain at the front desk 5 out of the 7 days. Finally they moved us to another room after acknowledging there were major issues with water on the higher floors. We were only moved the night before checking out. All the restaurants we used were just average with way above average prices. The concierge was ever so helpful is helping us book shows and tours. Not all people were wearing masks and while it was tried to be enforced some people still did not comply. Not an ideal stay but we still enjoyed our week in Vegas.
We had some free time on our hands before we headed across the street to the T-Mobile arena. We stopped into the MGM Grand because we hadn't been there in several years. For the most part, everything looks pretty much the same as it did previously. However, because it was a Saturday (early) evening, it was quite crowded and my wife and I did not feel comfortable even though everyone was wearing a mask. We walked around for about 20 minutes, checked out the restaurants and then followed the well-placed signs to the area (lots of credit to MGM for very clearly marking the way).
The main issue that I have with MGM is that I purchased the hotel stay 2 weeks before the trip and I paid over $200 for that night. The day of check in, I checked the prices and now the rate was $75 a night. I asked them to honor that price for me, give me hotel credit or upgrade my room. They declined all options I presented.
If they would have given me $100 gambling credit, they would have received it back and they would have made me feel like they cared about their guests.
If your here to gamble, then you re gonna loose money. Just a given.
But the grand is so pretty and has so many attractions. Restaurant, bars, etc. I like to spend money on experiences and my experience at those restaurants was delicious.
Even if you ll just walk around, it s a nice stroll.
I visit Las Vegas two times a week, how I live 100 miles away. Visiting Las Vegas that much I do get a feel for service and staffing which is important to me. I do believe MGM Grand is doing a better job then a lot of properties on the strip as far as service and amenities available.
So if you can't stay at a 4 or 5 Star MGM is definitely the spot.
The room felt dated and it had a weird smell. I had to turn on the fan to get rid of the smell. The housekeeping also skipped my room for some reason for the day and I had to call them to get it scheduled.
There was also no room card/security check at the elevator area. Anyone can ride the elevator and follow other guests. I already saw a vendor passing out advertisement flyers underneath guest room doors. Security is not good at all.
The casino needs to do a better job mandating mask wearing. Overall, my experience at MGM Grand was below average. For the price you are paying, I recommend other MGM locations or other casinos.
the rooms were very clean and comfortable. they were large and well designed with a good view. there are many amenities in the place, but we were able to take advantage of only a few. the Pool was one of them, it was a great experience. there were plenty of pools and lot of space to relax and have a good afternoon.
