If you want to lose your disability case choose MF...

If you want to lose your disability case choose MFY, they are horrible and should be investigated by AG; even an APS worker told me that they are the worst. If you're assigned attorney Montel Cherry, run the other way; another Legal Group had to help her/him get my Medical Records. This lawyer refused to address severe malpractice issues and the fact that my doctor threw the case. Paired with Judge Feuer, who had a 10% approval rate at the time of my case and a 50% approval rate for disability cases in NJ; you'll be sure to lose (I filed a complaint with Social Security over my case). To make matters worse Daniela Robles the paralegal that handled my case lied to me right in my face; she failed to mention that the paralegals were on strike for 6 months, that was 6 months of my time wasted and a delay in my case. Mistakes and misinformation was ignored on my Medical Records and MFY was guilty of reckless endangerment for making me, a very sick women, travel back and forth on the train needlessly (me fainting on the subway on my last trip back from MFY). Cy Vance, Manhattan DA & Attorney General Eric Schneiderman should be investigating this train wreck of a Legal Group. Lastly I was cheated out of an appeal cause Montel Cherry was oblivious to the fact I had limited eye-sight and was unable to read the 9 page decision in time for an appeal that frankly I didn't went them to handle anyway. I lost a ton of cash and my case due to these retched people. Beware!

They do absolutely nothing. Who ever supports this...

They do absolutely nothing. Who ever supports this organization should know the staff does not help anyone. If you believe in this cause you should fire the Attorneys because they are just on it for their own job. Or maybe not because they refer you to other legal organizations.

Second review I do believe. These people are inhumane and depraved. I have "worked" with Traci Salami now twice and she is the laziest person ever. Does not want to do anything to help me. I am trying to tell her people have SSI because they have a disability. She claims to be a social worker / lawyer but has no people skills whatsoever. I am glad she is up to her eyeballs in student loan debt because she is a miserable human being and this is disgusting how they treat people. Urban Justice was much better. I don't know how this company got these types of cases, but they are nasty individuals and really should be investigated. They are lazy and don't want to do anything.

I meant to write a review for MFY Legal a few years ago when they assisted me w few years back. Low and behold I find myself needing the help they offer at MFY and what better time than now to write the review.

First, I cannot say enough good things about their people and their organization. I m a life long New Yorker and over the moon that this great city has great services for its residents. My issue and what brought me there I can t go into to detail because it was sensitive and I simply forget most of it. Partly me not recalling it is the top knotch assistance MFY gave me which consequently ending up quashing the matter and out of my life and out of my memory. What I do recall is meeting with a gentleman by the name of Evan. Evan was knowledgeable, professional, and caring. And that sums it my experience this terrible thing I was dealing w I am pressed to remember but I remembered the name of this employee that helped. That s how good their services are I recall the kind man that helped me. God bless.

DO NOT BOTHER! that's my opening for this service....

DO NOT BOTHER! that's my opening for this service. Let me give you the process of what will happen when you reach out to these people.

You call. A intern picks up the phone. You tell them a short summary of your issue. The next 15mins be prepared for them not to ask you any questions about the issues you are going thru but other info that they gather from everyone so in their words " send this to the state so it helps fund them" you will than be told they will reach out to you. A MONTH will go by you will call them and they will tell you they are looking into it. THEY ARE INTERESTED IN YOUR CASE. You get asked more information. Just random b.s. so it seems they are into you. Than 1 month and a week later you will get a email stating THEY CAN NOT HELP YOU. And they wish you the best of luck.

If they do this to their potential clients during a pandemic, believe they will do this anytime.
The lawyers never reached out to me, never showed interest, they just need info to prove they are doing something so they get that money since they are a pro Bono....than they will send you a email of closing your case. IS IT WORTH YOUR TIME? NO. Go hire lawyers. Spend money and do not waste your time or energy with these people.
