Great Gastro Messe, the place to be if you are in hospitality in Austria

The exhibition center is perfect. Every year I go to the classic car fair and the normal auto show and I never got bored because there is so much to see. I would recommend starting at 11. The photos below are from the gigantic meeting that was about a week ago.

The fairs / events have decreased in quality and parking is very expensive. Only the passage, from the motorway exit through the area into the city costs money, a joke!

Good structure, big halls, bar (not too expensive), clean toilets

Parking lot too expensive paid 6 euros for 76 minutes, staff full of nice drinks very expensive for Red Bull 3.50 cappuccino 4.

I was at the motorbike fair in Salzburg and was only able to see two halls of the big fairgrounds. The motorcycle fair was very interesting and well attended, you could look at the latest models, in addition, some American vehicles were issued. Overall, it was a very relaxed visit and everything went smoothly.

Moderately clean toilets, moderate signage for P & R facilities and localities. Can lead to misunderstandings.

Parking is not cheap, and if you visit the fair, it could be charged at the entrance.

IHA Successful weekend with Arriba vom Goldschneiderhof

Very nice location embedded in the fantastic panorama of Salzburg's mountains and castles. Well connected, ample parking space clearly signposted cloakrooms staffed with cafeterias very good concept

Drinks and snacks perfect before the musical and during the break. Unfortunately waiting for a taxi forever after the performance.

P & R ticket must be validated on arrival at the machine.

We like to visit the fairs here. Always well prepared and easily accessible.

High hunting and fishing fair:
This year it was a disaster with the approach, since from the border crossing was already traffic jam. It took 1.5 hours. until the fair parking lot and although there was no more free parking, they let all vehicles drive in further. So the chaos was perfect, it took another hour to get out and again to be back on the shuttle. After 4 hours finally arrived in the interior, I had to realize that this year there were fewer exhibitors for fishing tackle.
For hunters, the fair is certainly still interesting, anglers will be rather disappointed.
For the high prices just too little is offered. Cool was only the small four-wheeler exhibition next door.

P + R on the exhibition grounds is super organized. From here you can take the trolleybus to the city center every 5 minutes. Really brilliant for those unfamiliar with the area.

Great exhibition center, too few opportunities to cozy up with food and drinks to strengthen again. Somewhat confusing. Is otherwise highly recommended.

Was at the open air site at a concert and at several in the hall. A really great location with consistently friendly staff. Very clean, clear and for a concert like I find one of the most beautiful halls ever.

The parking lot is large and offers enough space. With 5 euros flat rate really okay.
Only driving out towards the motorway is not that easy after an event. Possibly. should it be like at other large events in larger cities that you can pay directly at the entrance to an employee and the barriers are open when leaving. This has led to rather long waiting times because everyone had to put their ticket in the machine so that the barrier went up. For this 1 * deduction.

On Tuesday concert Max Raabe - good parking - bistro friendly - a great evening.

Was at the corona test. Everything was well organized. Actors were friendly, competent and helpful.
