Always very happy with the food, service and drink at Merriment. The menus are always changing and so I've never gotten bored of the food or the drinks. If you haven't gone I highly recommend trying out Merriment Social
Just finished one of the best fish fry dinners we've had. From the crispy and tender cod fillet to the fantastic potato pancakes to the delicious tarter and rye bun, it brought us back to Friday fish "up nort one time." If there was one minor quibble, it'd be the slaw which seemed not so fresh. And if you don't come for the fish, the always good Merriment burger does not disappoint. Grab the special popcorn mix for an appetizer. Staff is friendly for pickup or COVID-safe separated dining.
Me and my 2 friend girls went to Merriment Social on a Sunday around 2pm. We called ahead thinking it d be busy but it wasn t. Aesthetically the place is gorgeous! They have a plant wall that would make for great Instagram posts. However, when it comes to the food and menu I would not return. The midday menu was short and limited, and kind of deceiving. We had multiple versions of the menu just between the three of us, including items that were not available. We were recommended a charcuterie board that had one cheese and two meats (one of which was basically bologna). The rest of the board was olives, tomatoes, rolls, raw broccoli, pickled onions, and candied almonds (which I did like). Would not recommend. My friend ordered a burger with no cheese. She s lactose and is always super explicit about that. When she went to eat the burger she noticed the cheese and had to ask for it to be remade. Our drinks were all okay- not amazing or anything to go out of your way for. Overall, maybe it could be okay for just drinks and cute photos with friends but I wouldn t order food there again, not even appetizers.
We got married here August 2020 and could not have been happier. The location and ambience was exactly what we were looking for. Custom food menu was executed and delicious. Our specialty cocktails were concocted throughout our wedding planning at Merriment and were also delicious. We got awesome reviews from our guests regarding everything to do with Merriment and would highly recommend this venue for your wedding! Considering the circumstances of 2020 and the situation we're dealing with, Merriment ensured our guests were safe. The sidewalk seating as well as patio were incredibly accommodating. We were told from numerous guests this was the best food they have ever had at a wedding- hot chicken, merriment burgers, dumplings, to name a few... we even worked with the pastry chef to customize our dessert for the night. It was a fun experience for us to have meetings at the location to discuss food options and taste tests- the end result being a completely customized night that reflected us.
Flavor balanced to a T. Merriment social is a great place to go after work for dinner and drinks, and their eclectic tastes are sure to please. Known for their dim sum, this Walker's Point gem is everything youd want for a first date, or after a long day.

Food and drinks were great. Got the breakfast manhattan, grandma's coffee, chicken & waffle and biscuits and gravy. All really good. Decor/ambiance is fun too.
Excellent service. Good table arrangement for distancing. Masked servers. And the food was delicious.
Food was okay, didn't really blow my mind. Would be great for a bug party here given the space and cozy decor
Brunch was amazing. $8 bloody was perfect on spice. Monte Cristo egg roll was phenomenal!! Mike our bartender was a delight.
