Emergency room is dead and they still take hour to see there patients won't be taking family here again genesis in DeWitt is way better they actually care for there people unlike Mercy

This place is disgusting the staff is rude and very unprofessional and don't be wanting to treat patients at all

Took a friend who was having chest pains. We were in there from 2PM till8:30 PM. We were in that room way to long. And when drove up to the emergency department, told receptionist my friend having a heart attack, she sent us to the waiting room first!!!!!!

Excellent care & food at Mercy Medical. I have been a patient at Mercy numerous times & all but once was cared for very well.

Some of the best care and wonderful staffing from Dr's to nurses and all the amenities and all the other people working there.

Best hospital for our area. MercyOne is trying to streamline the process to cut cost and remove unnecessary duplication of services. All done with a view to improve patient care as outpatient and inpatient. They are working hard with nurses, doctors and staff to come up with best solution possible.
MercyOne team efforts to improve patient care to our area patients should be appreciated and applauded.

Do not recommend at all. Was charged somebody else s bill not once but twice! The day after I received this bill from them that I shouldn t have gotten, I got a letter from collections because they apparently sent me there the same day they sent me this bill. It took 4 months of phone calls and checking up on people to make sure they were doing their jobs before the issue was finally fixed. Not a single person I spoke to would even tell me what the charges were even for for the first 3 months of dealing with them.

went there to get help from this doctor in ear & throat.. well, what I found out about this dude is he's all your helping doctor if he can slice and dice to make money off you.. then when you really need him if your having problems (pain) of any kind, he will ALWAYS tell you to go to the ER .. he only has time for you when he can cut... oh and his nurse she is a piece of work... super UNPROFESSIONAL for being a nurse.. she lies and everything else.. once you get the nice mask off of her, she is a nasty RUDE person..

Do not bother coming here if you do not have health insurance. They will do nothing outside of giving you a few prescriptions and bill you a thousand dollars for what you could of got done for $60 at any other doctors office. I heard the same thing over and over again from family and friends so I thought I'd post a review of the treatment you will receive at our community emergency center.

Dr. Alaidden Taher is absolutely the worst Doctor there, and he is going to get someone killed with the way he practices medicine. He prescribed a medication (Isosorbide) that made my Dad black out and wreck his van during the summer of 2018 along with double the lasix that he was taking along with mega doses of potassium. He also stated that the new drug Entresto was the best medication for his congestive heart failure. His heart function has gone from 30% range to 50% range since he started taking it. Within 2 weeks, my Dad had become so dehydrated from the lasix that he damn near died. Dr. Taher told my niece that he overmedicated my Dad (ya think), and also changed his meds without even consulting the family. Dr. Taher took my Dad off of the Entresto, and said that it was not a good medication for him. It is the only medication that has made his heart function gain over 20% within 3 months time. He also cut his lasix back down to where it should be, and as needed. When I confronted this Dr. Taher about the Entresto telling him that my Dad needed it, Dr. Taher told me to not ever bring my Dad back to that hospital. What kind of an idiot Dr. first overmedicates a patient, changes life saving meds, and then tells the family that the patient is no longer welcome in the Emergency Department after all of the problems the patient was having was caused by his own incompetance. Dr. Taher!!!

No chair to sit in while waiting for my daughter lab lady dropped all the tubes to check for blood and didn't lay my daughter's bed back down very horrible service

So my boyfriend was having a kidney stone and started throwing up right at the stairs. I ran to get help and the nurses told me they be right out. Well I told them he couldn't make it up the stairs. She comes out with a wheelchair and asks if my boyfriend can make it up the stairs. So I helped him out it. He told me he was left in the hall way "they didn't have enough rooms open" but other people being walked in could get rooms? He asked one of the nurses for a blanket because he was having a fever through all of this never did give him that blanket. Then it took them an hour in half to get an IV. Made him wait till his pain was at a 1 but still forced a pain med then rushed him. WE WILL NO LONGER BE NEEDING THEIR HELP.

Came into this hospital and received really good care the nursing team all throughout my visit exhibited good skills, knowledge, and speed wow!. The nursing staff was friendly and eager to help not just in ER but when I was moved to a bed for extended stay that eagerness and friendliness continued. Love all the smiles and good attitudes really makes a difference when providing care. Hope everyone have a good experience!

Had surgery there today. From registration to same day surgery to the OR staff, everything was top notch. They cared and followed best practices. It was big city medicine in a small town.

My father in law stayed in the CCU at Mercy and I can t say enough about the incredible care the staff provided. The CCU nurses, respiratory therapist, and Hospitalist were fantastic. Their kind and compassionate treatment of our loved one helped us through a very difficult time. Thank you we are forever grateful

If your very sick or something else this is the place to go to to get better.

Ended up having to take my 3 year old in tonight. We were back in the patients room within minutes. The guy nurse and doctor were amazing! Treated my son so well-they all did. And to top it off we were in and out within record time! Thank you so much Clinton Hospital!!

Fast service, qui k to control pain, very nice rns drs and xray tech we were highly sastified with mercy!

Do not go to this hospital unless you want to risk being overcharged. I had what appeared to be a large duplicate charge. The insurance company said I should inquire about it because it looked unusual. Twice I have called and have been unable to reach the person who handles billing. The person I talked to has twice promised a phone call back which I have never received. The bill was way larger than when I had the same test done in Davenport. Never again.

How do u misdiagnosis roundworms for scabies. After u see white thungs all over and tell me scabies r to tiny to be ale to see? When u could have looked at why I was in the er in march. Definitely don't recommend Destinee Delemos! Asked me why I felt like I needed to go to the er? And tell me that I have gastritis from drinking alcohol and that 6 beers is way too much and 2 beers is pushing it. And after I say I drink socially ask if I drink every day. Ur job is to find out what's wrong and to treat the problem. Not to give me advice. Pretty much everyone up there is rude and unprofessional! I'd give them no stars if I was able to. I recommend going out of town for sure!

Worst hospital I've ever been to. Go to Iowa City for any help, otherwise you will be treated with disrespect unless you're on the verge of dying. Good job, Clinton. Your staff is laughable and your "care" is getting patients out as quick as possible with as little help as they need. Quad Cities at least. SOME of Mercy North's makes you feel terrible that you feel terrible. That's not right. It's disgusting.

Excellent. This hospital's departments and employees are exceptional. I had an emergency Appendectomy at Mercy Clinton. I had first class treatment and care from Dr. Carlson, the emergency room staff, CT scan staff, surgical staff, and so many nurses that I simply cannot remember all of their names. But, Jenny, Deb and Patti were key nurse employees that were so important in my recovery and well being. There was another nurse that worked with Jenny that walked me around the floor a number of times. She was very helpful. I am so grateful that we have this organization and this group of people available to us when medical emergencies strike. Thank you to all that helped me. I really appreciate it. Rick Cook

Walked In A 11 pm Because I Was Bleeding Heavily Walked Out At 6 am And The Only Thing They Gave A Was A Pregnancy Test. No Drawing Of The Blood To See If I Had Become Anemic No Lab Work At All And The Excuse Ass To Why I Seen The Only Doctor There Was Because They Were Packed And I Know It Was A Lie Because They Only Had Me In The Waiting Room And Two Other People In Other Rooms. The Doctor Literally Walked In And At 530 Am And said Sorry There's Nothing I Can Do For Ya

Buyer beware....before you have surgery here make sure that the anesthesiologists aren t out of network . Otherwise you ll be getting a surprise bill in the mail.

I definitely will not be going back to that hospital the staff is very disrespectful and they never give me the help I need
