Dont waste your money on the ophthalmic program, they'll usually hire you off the street anyways

I love the staff at this school. Teachers are always willing to help you out. The college has multiple resources to practice skills and succeed in the program. Hospitals in the area respect the reputation of the school and eagerly seek out grads. No the school is not easy, but graduating the school gives a great foundation in the medical field.

I was considering going back to Mercy because my first experience with them was great. Unfortunately after speaking with the admissions officer I am looking at other schools. It felt like a HUGE inconvenience answering my questions and didn t feel good/confident with the answers I received. Considering the amount of money you spend to go to the school I expect to be treated kindly and have all my questions answered so I feel confident with my plan. The admission officers are the face of the school and really should be pleasant. Unfortunately I didn t get that feeling.

Best decision i made to attend here! I just finished their phlebotomy program and I'd highly recommend it. Teachers were friendly and eager to help me. They showed they cared and now I feel confident getting an actual job as a phlebotomist thanks to their great training.

I have received my ASN and completing my BSN from Mercy college of Ohio. I had amazing professors who support me. This college wants their students to succeed and will do everything to help. I am so happy I made the decision to change my life and go back to school at this college!

In my opinion this is the WORST college!! I felt like the instructors never cared about success of the students! Be sure to check the graduation rates before applying!

Don't be discouraged by the 1 star posters. My daughter attended Mercy College and we couldn't be happier. The staff is great. The people that had trouble in school had several resources to help them do better. My daughter constantly scheduled tutoring sessions. Mercy prepares the student, but the student has to be prepared for the challenge of nursing school. Remember nurses have human lives they are taking care of. Does anyone want someone getting low grades to be their nurse? I don't. No school prepares their student for the NCLEX (test to become a registered nurse) better than Mercy. We were so happy with Mercy that our son is now attending Mercy this fall (BSN program). Great school!

Mercy is a great school! I just obtained my BSN degree from Mercy and although it was challenging, it was well worth it. Classes are small and teachers are always willing to help. I went on mission trips over spring break with the school and those experiences were unforgettable and irreplaceable. Anyone that is serious about obtaining a Nursing degree in Toledo should consider Mercy College.

I was initially excited that my daughter got accepted at Mercy because of the values and morals that Mercy stood for. Unfortunately, they have shown very little understanding, support, encouragement, and grace for their students during this past year in which individuals have experienced unprecedented times and life transitions. I would not recommend a school that is designed to equip individuals for a field of "compassion, caring, & helping" when they don't lead by example with their students.

Mercy college is a joke. If your going through a tough time expect them not to care. The teachers always tell you to look up an answer in the book, or re-read the notes. I was in the BSN program and all of the teachers had different rules when you did check offs. Don t expect to receive help on anything.
