Mercure Last Drop Village, Hotel and Spa Review

Great hotel always made to feel very welcome and beautiful rooms.

Food was good. Bed large and comfy. Shame houses being built right up to hotel

What a gem of a place!
We love coming here, it's our second stay here and we live 2 hours away and it's well worth the journey.
The way that they've handled covid is nothing short of brilliant, they've got everything under control and ensure that they make you feel at home and safe. Their food is good, the rooms are clean, but what makes this place stand out and exceed expectation is their customer service. I've been to 4 star spa hotels and they could learn a lot from this place. From the welcoming reception, to the kind bar staff who literally go above and beyond, any staff member who walks past you says hello and asks you how you are. We come back every time because of the staff. The thermal pool is amazing and it's because one of my favourite places. Well done to all, you're doing an amazing job x

We stayed at the Last drop hotel prior to lockdown. It is a great place to stay, in the countryside just outside Bolton. The pool and spa facilities are excellent. They contributed to this being a 5* visit. The breakfast was really good. Free parking. Will be returning as soon as possible.

The hotel room was very good. It's top notch, the sleeping, and the shower area are also fantastic. The food and drink in the main restaurant is just top notch it's absolutely brilliant. Rib eye steak medium rare, chips mushrooms perfect. The Wife had roast beef and a great big Yorkshire pudding perfect. Did I like it yes. The staff in the restaurant were Brilliant very polite, nothing to much trouble. The atmosphere was very good.

Absolutely fantastic place. Very peaceful and very mindful exactly what I needed. Its hydro pool is superb the gym is modern and quiet all in all its an amazing place too visit. There are some work going on at moment not at spa but outside there building new houses. You may think that it will disturb you but it does not. The views are lovely up there also and there are fantastic walks to be had also.

Absolutely love this hotel. Thermal suite and pool is relaxing and has a fantastic range of steam rooms and sauna. Rooms are clean and well mai tained. Staff are excellent and fantstic eating areas to dine in.

Amazing Hotel! Visited for a coffee but staying first time in April, so excited.
We are using this as our wedding night Hotel and for all our guest in 2022. Cant wait!

Can not really comment on the place it looked really nice but the welcome was none existent
After a long day working on site I arrived at the hotel where the staff were concerned that I had a letter proving I was an essential worker
As it was gone 6 the office was shut and I couldn t be bothered to search for the relevant email and I didn t want to argue and still be told that I couldn t stay so left and found somewhere more amenable
Maybe if they are accepting bookings they can send an email to check the status of the person before they turn up

As usual, the experience was slick without being overly formal. I think the company have chosen just about the right level at which to pitch the customer experience. My only suggestion would be that front of house staff in the restaurant are consistent in the way they welcome diners and that that welcome is a little more formal than at present.
