I made an appointment at the beginning of September to replace my cracked windshield (Mercedes E class coupe 2009).
The day before the appointment made three weeks earlier I was informed that the windshield was not in stock, deadline unknown.
Without news, I called back in October: "It's still in red on the computer, why don't you go to Carglass" they tell me! ....what I did, problem solved!
The welcome at Mercedes is courteous, if you don't need anything it's perfect!
