As the owner of an AMG vehicle, we were able to take a personal tour of the factory in Affalterbach. Very nice and competent communication when choosing the date, easy parking and absolute punctuality at the start of the tour.
The 90 minutes were very interesting and exciting. From the history of AMG, to first racing successes, a tour of the workshop including explanations of vehicles (e.g. E-SLS), representation of the engine generations and, finally, a visit to the engine assembly department for the V8 engines for the current E-Class.

The quality defects for a vehicle far beyond the 100,000.- are really scary. Only the engine is fun. Premium price, but very moderate. 2. Recall since 2017, processing a C-class with cheap material (gaskets dissolve, etc.). I thought the best or nothing ... better now nothing better than the best or nothing .... The two stars deserve really only the fun factor of the engine.
