If you're in Santa Fe and you need something to do...
If you're in Santa Fe and you need something to do then this is a thing you can do. The gift shop is cool, and they have a bar which I would try out.

First time going there and I just had an amazing experience with my brothers. I went in thinking it would just be a surreal art exhibit but after 30 minutes, we were following a story but that is the most I will give out so I don't ruin the experience or you don't overthink looking for it the first thing when you walk in. It is better to enjoy the scene and once you find something intriguing, keep looking into it. Overall, It is a great experience with people and very stimulating. Loved it and might come back to see if there is something new in-store or to continue finding more. Just wish I had more time there to solve and find out everything.
Meow Wolf is so much fun! It's very colorful and weird and you can interact with everything! There are clues all over to help you figure out the story if you're interested in investigating! I definitely recommend this if you're in Santa Fe!
Just go. It's hard to explain what it really is, but it's worth the trip.
You have to experience it for yourself there's no way to explain it its awesome
I thought this was an amazing venue for a concert .Although the concert took all my energy,I definitely will return to check out the unique psychedelic adventutes this place has to offer.it's like a funhouse for all ages.Anyone would appreciate this local art museum it is truly a blast and well worth every penny.
Intense, a beautiful example of creativity and madness. A little clausterphobic but an amazing experience. A must see in Santa Fe, no not miss this.
Awesome experience. Great for kids and adults. Just be careful of the crowds - when we went it was so packed that it was hard to walk around some areas.
This place is more amazing than words can describe. Go.
Overall experience was awesome. Great place to challenge your imagination.
Loved ffds collection and saints ball was amazing!!!
I absolutely loved exploring this place. My kiddo had a great time also. Well worth the price of admission for a full days worth of exploration and interesting experiences. No matter your age or interest in art or the story that is behind this instillation.. go explore.. I had only seen the briefest of YouTube promotion videos for this place. So it was all totally new to me, but I absolutely loved this place. Cannot recommend this place enough..
Best place ever. It was a lot more fun than I expected. We came from Colorado to see it and it was well worth the trip. :)
Omg I LOVE THIS PLACE! GO AND GO AGAIN, AND AGAIN! AND TAKE FRIENDS!
Just wow. I had no idea about this place before arriving. Everyone in my party had a excellent time and we can't wait for the one in Las Vegas Nevada to open next year.
There is a reason George r r Martin is involved w this place. Great art, cool free arcade, great interaction. Top 50 place to go in world right now!
Great concert venue, lots of fun and find new things every time. The silent disco was awesome in the exhibit.
A wonderful experience. Anyone planning on being or driving through the Santa Fe area needs to make a couple of hours to see this exhibit. Absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back.
The greatest experience I've had as an adult child!
Welcome to the coolest adult playground ever invented.
Really cool and different interactive art. It gets a bit crowded. If you want the full experience you need to take several hours to read through clues and watch short videos.
Words can't even begin to describe. I want to live here. I can't wait to go back, one could spend endless hours here and still get something out of it.
It's like a group of crazy geniuses filled a cauldron with hallucinogens and references to LOST, Maniac Mansion, Dr. Evermore...but that doesn't even do it justice.
Just go.
This place is awesome. I loved it. We need more places like this. Truly epic! Worth the travel to see once. And it was an awesome place to see a show. All in All... Amazing
Tip- There's no gain in buying presale as the person controlling the lines had presale and general take turns getting in.
Pros- Could spend hours there. Very unexpected. So much to see! Sensory overload! Vibrant. Unique. I would go through at least twice in one visit. Like Avatar.
Cons- Wait time to get in +30 minutes. Crowded. Some very tight spaces or hard to navigate if over 5' or 150#. Uneven surfaces. A lot of pieces were dingy from finger oil. Parking can be hard to find.
Fun place to come visit. My son loved it & wants to come in vk again here
This place is so awesome I can't describe it ..it's relaxing fun mesmerizing and trippy....it's an indoor adult amusement park that kids love too! Get there early unless you like standing in Disney size lines
What an amazing creative place, it makes me proud to be human!
Did not live up to the hype and not worth the money. Smelled like dirty diapers from all the free range children running around. I would ve given it 3 stars if it was cheaper.
Confusing. Don't believe the hype. Maybe if I was high on some drug, I may have found this place interesting. If it was an isolated venture it certainly would have been much more meaningful, unnerving, and dramatic. Due to the high amount of people there. It was crowded, cramped, and in result unenjoyable. This is only my personal opinion. If you enjoy experimental art, then it could be up your alley. Do not just take my word for it.
really unique place. great place to take your friends and families when they are in town. amazing job by the artists who designed this place.
One of the weirdest, most interesting places I've ever been. We got 3-D glasses and I liked having them, but I don't know that they were essential (that being said, they were only $1.) This being our first time, we just wandered, but if I were to go back, I would try to follow the family's story. Worth a visit and I didn't notice anything scary, so I think it could be great for kids, too. Definitely a lot of walking and stairs, with optional crawling /crouching. Not friendly to those who have a hard time getting around.
It was okay.. It wasnt that good .. I thought it could be more fun... I was bored and it for 3 year old
I WILL NEVER FORGET MEOW WOLF. There is not one part of it that is overrated. It is fascinating, mind bending, beautiful and bizarre. Even on crowded days, you are transported into a universe all your own. I walked away feel inspired and excited to see what the creators do next. More communities need incredible, interactive experiences like these. Worth every penny and wait time.
Amazing art installation! Don't be afraid to touch items as you go through the house!
I have visited this place twice a year since it opened and it still surprises me
Highly recommend avoiding weekends.
Bring small bills and quarters!
Art vending machine costs $5 each
What an experience and adventure. What talent! It was like stepping into diffrent dimensions. Each door (including the refrigerator door and washing machine) took you to a New world. You will spend all day here looking for all the little easter eggs.
Its like the mushrooms have taken over. Real trippy place!
How can you describe this magical place? Truly a hidden gem. I'll let you enjoy the secrets. However, I do recommend going during a music show. You get the best of both worlds. Most tickets include the show and the exhibit. Plus because the shows are late and 18+ so there wasn't any kids. The first two times I went I had a good time but it can get really packed with kiddos.
Meow Wolf is an entirely unique experience for all ages. Think of Alice stepping through the looking glass and you are on the right track for what this fully interactive art installation is about. Not to mention it's located in the absolutely gorgeous city of Santa Fe, NM offering a plethora of tasty restaurants, art galleries, and spectacular views of the surrounding nature to explore.
Meow Wolf is a surreal exhibit that encourages you to interact with various objects and the environment to reveal hidden clues about what the whole thing means (not to mention purely aesthetic hidden passages and beautiful alien like spaces). There is an amazing sci-fi story that unfolds from the exhibit that I believe takes about 4 hours to decipher at an ambitious pace.
There is also a live music area with a lot of fun spaces to explore during the show. My wife and I saw Papadosio perform and it was an out of this world experience!!
Great place beautiful really fun and very interactive
Wow. Just wow. We spent 6 hours in here, and still don t think we saw every square inch of the place. Can t wait to return someday.
I like it because it takes you forward and back in time.
Very VERY interesting place i would hightly recomend coming here atleast once in your life
Coolest place I have ever been to in my life. The narrative, the exhibits, EVERYTHING
Awesome place. It's interactive and fun for all ages
The staffs are nice but it is overcrowded on the day of my visit. Paid $25 each for a group of 5 people but we all quickly got tired from being in the crowd and barely understood what we are supposed to be looking at. I don t think I will recommend this place.
Great place to spend a fun afternoon ! Lots to see and do :-)
I don't know really how to describe this venue. It really is something how the artists utilized the space. I loved how interactive most of the rooms were and how each area was a unique experience. If you're in Santa Fe, I would recommend visiting.
best place ever. lot of fun for kids and adults both. cant even imagine something like this even exists.
Full of wonder and amazement! A must go to when in Santa fe.
Amazing place! Loved it! Photos don't it justice, you need to experience it!
The most unusually fantastic experience in New Mexico (inside outing)
What a great experience. Staff was all nice, kind of pricey for the drinks but we weren't there for the drinks anyways. This interactive art gallery gives you such a natural euphoria.
It was an awesome experience. Just when you think you've seen everything in one area, you turn a corner, and there's a new room or tunnel or hidden door or staircase that you missed.
There's an experience for your eyes, ears, fingers, and nose. There are some areas that can be overwhelming, but the are done quieter areas too.
It was great for adults and it was a lot of fun to see what my kids found exciting. They like different things and they each found something they loved. The laser harp was probably the one thing they agreed on.
It will get busy and there will be a line. We managed to get in without to much trouble by lining up before the open on a Sunday morning. It was well worth the time.
it was my first time I really loved it the people were nice the decorations were the best like lit I hope I can come back again soon but that's a place that I recommend everybody to go to
This place is amazing!!! Will go time and time again. Great entertainment for the whole family or with a group of friends.
This place blew my mind, and my expectations. My advice is to keep an open mind, and pay attention to the little details.
It's all right for the young generation but for us older people it's loud and full of people drinking
I cant wait till they open in Denver, we had a blast!!
Get the 3D glasses, spend the time to look everywhere! Up, down, around, touch everything, don't rush! Take your time & just enjoy the experience! If you rush, you're probably gonna miss the best parts! If you really have time, follow the story!
This place was sooo amazing! There is sooo much to see there and VERY INTERESTING FACTS about the family who lived there. The night we went there was a concert and part of the building was closed off so it was a little disappointing that we couldn't see it all but we DEFINITELY want to go back!! A good place for little kids to!!
Really cool and weird at the same time! You can spend the whole day in there trying to figure all the secrets, so many rooms to go thru, and so much to take in.
Lots of people make it too unattractive, cramped, the cost to get in is high already but then u have to pay more if u want the app to guide you through makes this a 1 time stop for me!! Dont get me wrong, I'd love to go back n try to solve the ANOMALIES but the high price and sheer volume of people make it a no,no! If u do go, go early or expect to wait in line 30-60 min
An art installation so financially successful that it gives me hope for the arts in my lifetime. If you don't care about art go to appreciate that an "Immersive Art Installation" can bring in over $7,000,000 in their first year.
Very immersive and creative exhibit! We spent over 2 hrs inside, exploring and discovering every inch!
Best art collective and art installations ever! Great for the whole family! I love how interactive the art is! There is the storyline you can be a detective and figure out what happened well also exploring touching feeling listening and becoming part of the art! Check out the house that leads to portals of other dimensions! This was a wonderful trip and experience that will never be forgotten!
Awesome facility. Take your time to see every attraction.
Different, weird, odd, out of this world, the best attraction in santa fe, you can take kids with you they will probably understand the place better than you so forget about all you know before you go in, leave all the preconceptions of ths world out and enjoy
Insane! Fun! Drove 30 hours just to go, and it was totally worth it!
