Very impressed with the staff in the nursing section my dad is in. Compassionate care. Careful with his injuries. Joke with him often helping his spirit. Good looks really good. The ground are amazing with landscape and benches and bird feeders and so many things to look at. This is a mature "old school feeling" facility.
I am glad that it was here that he could be helped thru his recovery.

My Mother has lived at this facility for 3+ years. I can't say enough about the staff & they way they interact with the residents. Knowing that they take good care of my Mother & treat her with respect is very comforting.

My aunt was in rehab care at the village and we loved the Christ centered care she was provided! I visited her weekly and there was always someone to help her with any needs she had. We feel confident in her care at the village and hope to have a permanent place for her there in the future. In the meantime she waits in another care home temporarily which we feel does not offer the same tender loving care the mennonite village offers.

I was in a really bad car accident in July and the staff was wonderful. I actually used to work at Mennonite Village before my accident, and was very relieved I was able to recoup from my accident there. It was a tough recovery, but I was blessed and impressed by my time there.

Do NOT take your family here!! They were abusive to my mother. She went here for rehab and they left her having to go to the bathroom with no help. My mom had a broken leg and the other one the ligament in the back of knee was ripped out. She got back to bed on her own which was very difficult due to her injuries and they placed her in a wheel chair for hours as punishment. They then proceeded to bring her a plate of food and leave it in front of her with no help. She couldn't use her arms and hands because her wrists are broken. My father had to go there and threaten them to get my mom out of there. If they are willing to do this to a coherent person then what are they doing to the dementia people who can't speak up? Very unprofessional place!
