Love this store, especially on black Friday! Stuff is always kind, but not always have enough knowledge about what they sell. But you are able to find the right person, though.

As far as I know this is the only location requiring customers to wear masks. Will not return to shop here until this requirement is lifted.

You can complain about menards because we all know eau Claire is stuck with rhe worst home improvment chain in amarica. But i think we should vote out city counsel members that are being blackmailed by the nasty John menard so some day there can be real compitition and then they wont be able to just spit in there customer's faces and tell them to write our Congress and complain about the horrible service.will dance with glee when that piece of #&=\ dies.

Found exactly what I needed quickly. Checkout service was fast and professional.

Well let's just say it was a lot better when you still had good sales Reps but your so greedy you can't pay them what they deserve so they all quit.

Went to return unused material from a plumbing DIY job and was informed by the girl on the return desk that the goods needed to be returned to the other side of town where I purchased it. I wanted to avoid an unnecessary trip because I was on the North side of town but this kind of attitude does nothing to bolster my opinion of the store. What if I purchased goods Wausau? Do I have to travel 200 miles round trip and pay for gas for a $30 Item? Come on Menards, accept returns wherever you have a store, it's all yours in the end

Lots of options and great options. Always go intending to pick up a couple things from a list, end up walking out with twice the amount of stuff them what one needs. Innovative products in every department to make every job easier now fun. Store has a nice and accommodating layout. Over the years the staff has greatly improved on product knowledge as well as where to locate products.If you have questions or need a demonstration, most employees are more than happy to show how and what to do. They provide tips about how to optimize efficiency from their personal experience or just from knowing about the items and/or the task the item will be used for. It seems the employees have also come to be more courteous and polite. Makes the trip smoother and much more enjoyable.

Busy but the checkouts where moving along fast which is nice.

It is the only place you can really go in Eau Claire because well mr. Menard won't let no other chain come in and the prices are okay quality could be a lot better but at least when you get 11% off it helps

Easily found everything went in for and checkout was a breeze. Used an 11% rebate check to pay for part of our purchase and earned a other.

Over 2 hrs wasted today. Purchased a complete egress window kit and went to get the items from the yard wearhouse - only for them to not have all the items. Went back in to pick out a different kit that would work and to the register for the price difference and back to the yard. Again - not all the items were there. After he-hawing around trying to find all the kits and items, they discovered they did not have all the items available for any complete kit. Fine! But would have been nice to know 2 hours before instead of running back and forth from the department, yard, and cash registers. What's the point of having a computer system to tell you quantity available, if it's completely inaccurate?!

Always good, only complaint is when they have the 11% sale they raise their normal prices to make up for the 11% rebate.

shop here all the time and at least some of their employees are knowledgeable unlike the home depot witch is staffed by stupid teenagers

Good team, well stocked, helpful prices could be better on some stuff. it's a place I would recommend

Bought a sink that was over$100.00 and the sprayer button broke. Went to Menards to replace it but they don't carry it!!Very disappointed!!!

Had the LED light I needed. Helpful staff assistance.

I'm glad Menards is encouraging mask wearing as a Covid response, makes me feel better about shopping there.

Never anyone to help you. You have to find the desk and often find 2 or 3 people standing around. Went to paint dept. Found 2 young people flirting with each other. The girl did help but quickly returned to the desk to twirl her hair
Nobody ever in door dept. Took 20 minutes to find 3 dollar clips. I guess if it isn't a big sale nobody cares.

Menards always surprises me with their product line and low prices.

Wisconsin (eau claire specifically) is menards country. They have their corporate center here, they own a large percentage of land (parks, storage facilities, even a wildlife sanctuary in West Eau Claire) which is fine, but don't expect to see a lowes or home depot anywhere nearby lol.

Somebody stole PVC from my truck bed in Menard's parking lot and they would not look up footage

I special ordered an item online yesterday and my order has been cancelled today due to Menards falsely advertising the price of the item, and then not willing to honor the online price. Unfortunately, I sold a personal belonging of mine to afford this item because of the great deal that was advertised online, and today I get an email stating that the order has been cancelled due to their mistake?? Now I no longer own the personal item that I sold, and I am not getting the item from Menards to replace the one that I have sold. I have tried numerous times to contact the customer service, but they are refusing to resolve this issue. I am furious as a customer, and I will take my business elsewhere from this point forward. Myself, a few family members, and also many close friends have been loyal to Menards as customers, as a lot of us are contractors that purchase from Menards on a daily basis. I have informed them all of this situation. Thanks for causing me an incredible inconvenience!!

This should be illegal. I did not give you permission to access my phone. What you're doing is clearly an invasion of privacy. So on a scale of one to ten, you get a zero.

The mask security guard was pleasant. The customer service desk lady was quick and nice about selling us a mask since we totally forgot about bringing ours. Had to ask 3 different associates to finally get correct directions to where my product was but regardless they were all friendly! Still a successful trip!

I think Menards does a great job! It is rare I can't find what I need, and the employees are cheerful and knowledgeable! I feel kind of like a pariah, but I love Menards!!!

Giant hardware store, hopefully you know where you're going. Usually cheaper than home depot.

Shop at your local hardware store, this place is a waste of time and money.

I needed help when building my addition on my house. They helped me. Every time I went in with a list, they helped me. I gravitate towards the folks who know about their store and they will give me the best suggestions and service. The Plumbing Dept folks are GREAT people. The Building Materials folks are just as great.

My experience is usually good with Menards, however this time they were out or had only 1 item in stock that I needed. Which is making finishing my project by the deadline very very difficult.

I love the new on your location to help show which direction you are going.

Went to Menards to buy school supplies this morning. They had different school district supplies lists posted. Which is really nice for those whom haven't been carrying one with them for the past 2-weeks . I found almost everything I needed except colored pencils and a 4-function calculator (they may actually have them, but I didn't wander too far to hunt them down). The prices were nearly $1.00, sometimes even more cheaper than Walmart and Target. I needed RED pens that were far too high for me to reach and a very nice associate came to my rescue. Thank you! All-in-all, this was a great shopping experience for me.

Top compliment: Walking inside from the heat, the air conditioning was absolutely excellent and I could have stood in the front entry for several minutes

Well organized and has most of anything you could need. Well stocked and good costumer service.Nice selections and well lit. Everything is labeled and the store is sectioned by type of item like most stores.Overall very good store and no complaints.

Very poor customer service and high prices for poor quality goods.

Went in was cable to get what I need and get out at this time no kids under 16 allowed in the store and masks must be worn

Menards customer service is a joke..
I bought some defective flooring and was told I would have to eat the cost, around $400. I escalated the issue but never got anywhere.
I finally went direct to the manufacturer and they were great to work with.
Only problem was they issued credit to Menards which in turn would only send me store credit.. frustrating.

I needed a light socket for a pre-WW2 fixtures for my office in my 1848 built house. They had the perfect part, $2.99

I like to wander around with my man, who loves the place.

Went there for a few items. Thought everything was alright. Left for home and checked my receipt over at my house. Unfortunately, I was charged for 6 border fencing units when I know I put five in the cart. *sigh* Made a phone call to the store. The lady at the garden center said nothing could be resolved by phone and I'd have to address my problem with customer service. *sigh* It will be another trip back to Menards all because the teller bleeped one too many times and I didn't catch it! *sigh* The reality is this: I'm not saving big money at Menards this time around, nor am I able to limit my trips during the virus.

Its really too bad I couldn't leave zero stars. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Kyle, a heavier bald man was incredibly rude and confrontational. I have never been treated so poorly by "customer service". I will tell everyone I know to steer clear of menards, anyone reading this should too.

They always have what i need. Also bring home some excellent soup mixes

Went there to get some security lighting for my shed and house. They are very helpful in the lighting area and had a great selection.

It is a sin that Menards does not have any competition in Eau Claire. There customer service is ALWAYS below the lowest standard any retail store. They don't care because there is no where else for people to go. John Menard should be ashed and embarrassing of his staff at his stores!

the entrance is horrible with the exit and entrance doors then when you get into the store the staff doesn't want to appropriately help you find what your looking for and when you finally find it and buy it the cashiers are dumbfounded and dont know the purchase process and the staff can't give you directions as to were you need to go( it's like they dont care) as a contrcontrafor several years Lowe's and home depot is a much better experience

Did not have what I was looking for, even though I found it on line. (The young man went out of his way to assist me, even though he was to be on break)

We looked online for a canopy party tent and discovered it was in stock at Menards west. We went there and they had the sides that enclose the tent as well. We picked up both and put them up in a little over an hour. Decent quality and fairly easy to assemble. Good overall shopping experience.

Friendly staff. Item I wanted not in stock. Associate told me where to find what I needed in Walmart for much less!

They have lots of different things a person can use.

Great prices. Unbeatable selection. Friendly service. Not sure how they could improve. Perhaps a gun department.

It has a good variety of household, business, construction and animal needs and items!

Generally the day shift department people are knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of products.

Everything you need under one roof. Coffee to concrete, hand soap to houses and everything in between.

I greatly appreciate Nick from the Eau Claire West. He is always right there to help me before, during and after I shop. I'm in a wheelchair and he doesn't even see it. He treats me like a person, not a burden.
