Men Standing Positive: Changing One Person, One City, One Nation at a Time!
Men Standing Positive (MSP) is a non-profit organization that aims to empower and uplift individuals and communities through various programs and initiatives. Founded in 2005 by Jeff "J.R." Johnson, MSP has been making a positive impact on the lives of people in St. Louis, Missouri, and beyond.
The mission of MSP is to inspire hope, promote change, and create opportunities for those who are struggling with poverty, violence, addiction or any other challenges. The organization believes that every person has the potential to succeed if given the right tools and support.
One of the core programs of MSP is called "Positive Direction," which provides mentoring services for young men between the ages of 12-24. The program focuses on character development, education assistance, job readiness training as well as life skills coaching. Through this program alone over 500 young men have been positively impacted since its inception.
