Is this school still around? i am trying to get into it.

Memphis College of Art is different. There is only one main building for classes and its falling apart. The College itself is in the middle of a park so it is pretty, however I always feel unsettled walking around by myself as i'm constantly being harassed. Parking in the summer and spring is awful, as everyone is trying to be at the park and there are no actual parking spaces surrounding the building. The Fogelman and Metz dorms are nice, but the internet is TERRIBLE. Security makes rounds constantly, but during the two times we've had tornadoes there hasn't been any security in sight. I do not recommend walking in town at any time by yourself, people are scary and the location around it is considerably dangerous. Some teachers are rather snobbish, though not all. Expect to be challenged, not babied. I did not enjoy my time here, I'm transferring out. DO NOT let the scholarship they offer you once you've been accepted to persuade you into going, really consider it. They have major funding problems.

Idk whatever emily is talking about i loved it. Idk what else to say the only thing i have to complain about is like the dorms arnt in the park also hut you really cant help that (but no seriously be careful at night no matter what not saying its dangerous in any way but you never know ya know betyer safe than sorry so walk home with a freind or something ya know)

Amazing school, all the professors that I have have really shown just how passionate they are about teaching and helping improve everyone's skills.

Very satisfied graduate. The location is great and the instructors were amazing and knowledgeable. I wouldn't be holding down a stable job and doing what I love without them. It's sad to see it closing, but the building is beautiful and I hope it remains a staple of Memphis Art for many years to come.

Excellent School for Advanced Artists. Love it. They go beyond to help you go out in the real world and find great jobs all over the country.

To the man complaining about having his car towed: don't park where the MCA shuttle bus parks! I love this school. It's a really really difficult school but its worth it.

Great feeling it has this 2nd home feeling about it
