Absolutely appalling. Don t waste your time. Literally gave us the advice, more serious cases will be last as the specialist aren t available. Woman next to me had chest pain and was coughing up blood and she had waited 7 hours.

I drove 2 hours to come here and made it here at 12:30 am. I am still sitting in the ER and it's 4:42am. Before I came I called and they said this of one of the most highly staffed hospital. I can't tell. I can say some of the staff are nice tho.

I was seriously injured in a car accident and eye doctor said I need to do a surgery on the same day and gave me a cizik clinic number to call and kick me out. I called Cizik clinic DR Lee. on the same day and the front desk is really rude and she said she don't have my information. I called back emergency room again and I was not able to pass the front desk and they hanged up on me. I tried Cizik Clinic four days straight and got the same answer. And they don't have my information. I have to go back to that ER again and get double rip off. That time doctor said they will make sure they have my information. I finally got see the doctor after two weeks and no body admit they make mistake.

Worst experience ever. My mom was severely anemic and they had her waiting in the ER for over 5 hours with shortness of breath and no Dr. to even check up on her the entire time. She was at this facility for over 24 hrs. and they didn't feed her or giver her anything to drink. I cannot believe that service is this terrible. This experience has made me hate hospitals.

Absolutely the best hospital. I have a very rare disease. Never once have I sat in the waiting room. Staff has always been nice and attentive. They have saved my life more than once. Absolutely the best hospital in the world. No doubt about that.

Extremely nasty on the neurology intensive care area. I passed by nurses openly coughing, mouth uncovered. I went into the restroom and it was the nastiest I've ever seen. It's really sick patients on that floor but the restroom was atrocious! It was a roach on the floor of the stall. Toilet paper everywhere. Trashcans overflowing. Just gross.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a terrib...

If I could give zero stars I would. I had a terrible eye infection and went to the ER, and they didn't send me a doctor, just a nurse practitioner.

This nurse practitioner misdiagnosed me and told me to go home, even though I was literally going blind in my left eye due to cornea damage stemming from a virus creating particles in my eye. The following day someone drove me to a private practice doctor who saved my eyesight. (Like literally, the front of my cornea had be sheared off.)

So if you want a (potentially) terrible misdiagnosis, want to NOT see a doctor, and want to (potentially) permanently injure yourself then go to this emergency room.

Edit: I am also filing a complaint with the Texas State Medical Board

I took my husband here for a medical procedure. We had no idea where to go. Instead of sending him to a nearby facility, we had to go to a downtown location so that we'd be forced to pay for parking. Then we had to walk a mile or two to find the entrance to the facility. My husband is disabled, and he was hurting by the time we found the entrance. Check in took over an hour. I miss the options with my old insurance-I detest having to use this unprofessional, horrible place.

My husband is a police officer. He was protecting the streets of Houston. While at work he dislocated his shoulder and was transported to Memorial Hermann TMC. He as well as four other officers were with him in uniform to provide moral support. I am an RN and I am appalled at how his care and pain management was treated. Upon arrival he was in an 8/10 pain. As time went on he finally got some morphine (not much). After change of shift a doctor came in to reduce his shoulder. He then waited to get an X-ray to check placement and the doctor said ok you are done and I m sending you home with no pain medicine follow up with your PCP in 5-7 days. WOW are you serious! Now my husband is at home in pain, it s the weekend and the PCP you want him to see isn t back in the office until Monday. Im starting here but I will move up the chain because this is 100% unacceptable.

I got here at 4am, it s 6:30 now and still haven t been called back and no one can tell me how much longer it will be. They just keep saying the shift change is soon and things should start moving then. But I ve seen zero people taken back since I got here so not feeling hopeful at the moment.

Horrible staff especially RN. I had several injuries mainly to my legs. I was released and denied a wheel chair to get to the car, and had to limp all the way. Wouldn t send my worst enemy to this place.

They have quality doctors but the wait to see a doctor in the ER is extremely long. I can t understand how the process takes so long even in an emergency. The only way you will be seen early here is if you come on an ambulance

Terrific staff! We were very pleased. They are true hero s and deal with very complicated cases, life or death, and difficult people. Some patients and visitors were very rude and impatient. I kept thinking, you have no idea and couldn t do what these hero s do.

Went to the emergency room due to severe chest pains and headaches. I waited for 2 hours, they took me back for an x-ray, then sent me back to the waiting room for another 2 hours. Ended up leaving and just making an appointment with my doctor since i'm sure they'll see me faster than here.
The ladies at the front desk were really nice and very sympathetic, so I gave a star for that.
I arrived at 10:30pm, at first it was empty, but the later it got the more homeless people started flooding the place and sleeping in chairs and asking for food/drinks. Security just sat there!

Unfortunately I brought my wife here late in 2014 ...

Unfortunately I brought my wife here late in 2014 with acute renal failure. She had Dr Finkel as her attending. He diagnosed Wegeners and placed her on dialysis. This did not go well with lots of problems. We had monthly apointments which did not resolve any of the problems; indeed Dr Podoll (a Herman nephrologist) sugested that I find a nephrologist in Woodlands or Sugarland!
Over about 2 years we tried to contact a physician at Herman outside appointments but never got a reply (the very nice man giving appoimtments told me that the staff took 2 hours for lunch and were vey unlikely ever to return calls). I used to work at MD Anderson and we physicians never even took lunch on clinic days - what fools we were!
In the end the only way I got a phiysician reponse was by physically threatening the physicians. This led to them declaring me insane and dangerous and stopping home dialysis.
Eventually my wife declined further dialysis and died about 2 weeks later in 2017.

Conclusion: do not go to Herman If you have renal failure failure; instead go to St Luke s or Methodist.

My sister was admitted at 2:30pm and three hours later there is no update of her status. I even ask the front desk and they were rude to me and said we have to wait more. My sister is suffering from severe headaches and they even put the TV volume almost all up and one of the nurses "working" is doing anything more than viewing the game. We are from out the state and this hospital is the worst EVER.
