This is a good vet surgery the staff here are very helpful understanding and friendly their prices are average or on par with what you would expect and strive to help you out the best they can the veternarians here are very competent as well

Great. The doctor David checked the cat very deep and took treatment. Not money minded. Good treatment. Well cleaned. Hygienic. Required early appointment as he is in tight schedule. Better to reduce the minor operation charge. This only the minous point. Appreciating and recommending the clinic.

The staff are amazing and full of useful information. They go out of their way to make sure you're happy and your pets are well looked after. I travel from deer Park specifically to visit this vet and wouldn't go anywhere else. Recommend highly.

Very small waiting area, lots of animals in a small space- very dangerous with big dogs, which is why I dont bring my dogs there

Good caring medical staff though it was quite expensive. My quote compared to my actual bill was quite shocking. The receptionist was very eager to make it expensive.

My 13 year old dog die yesterday. Because it was all sudden I had no choice to get anyone locally to see her, as she got worse I call Melton Vet and explain I may not make it at all to the emergency hospital. Even though during this difficult times and restrictions in place ,they had the compassion to see my baby and attempt to keep her alive. Thank you so much for having the compassion and dont let her die alone.

I had to take my cat for an emergency consult. As it was unplanned I did not have the funds to pay for everything immediately. They refused to dispense even one dose of pain relief until the bill was settled. Be aware that they have no problem leaving your animal in pain, even for the sake of as little as $3.50. Disgusting behaviour.

Highly recommended, they have the best people for your animal. My lil one (lucky) have been looked after by David for 2 years now and I have nothing but good stuff to say. I wont go anywhere else because they have the best people looking after my dog.

Dr. Pang was unpleasant to the degree that our dog who loves all people seemed afraid of him. He did not approach or try and establish any rapport or bedside manner with our labradoodle (who only had an ear infection, he wasn t sick or injured or anything) but stayed on the other side of the room for most of the visit. When he did finally approach to examine him, he acted almost as if he were afraid of dogs! So strange. Our dog got bad vibes from him too, and tried to hide from him behind my legs. I ve NEVER seen him react to a person like that. Likewise, the doctor didn t make any attempt at being kind or even polite to us the people in the room either. He had no time to listen. He interrupted us rudely, and curtly cut off our questions. We were really put off by him and so was our sweet labradoodle. After spending less than 60 seconds examining our dog, he quickly retreated back across the room. He wrote a prescription for ear drops and condescendingly told us to make an appointment in a week so that he could (quote) make sure you re using the drops correctly. We did not return for that follow up, and have no plans to visit this vet ever again. I ve lived with dogs my entire life and visited many, many vets. This experience was absolutely awful. Something was just not right.

My cat was sick, she was old and so I knew her mannerisms. So i knew it wasn't as simple as pulling a piece of dental floss out of her bum. The Dr was lovely and let me stay with my cat as long as I needed, and gave me different options, and was very caring.

Knowledgeable and caring staff! The only place that gave us a clear diagnoses for our husky Indigo who was unwell with what turned out to be severe gastro and a sensitivity stomach to most foods. We felt relief and that all would be okay and have been able to manage it since. Thank you again.

I was a frantic crazy person coz there was something really wrong with our Busta and they calmed me down and said bring him in and will check him out. They saw him straight away. They were so lovely and helpful.

The greediest, rude and arrogant vets I have ever dealt with in my life. As a registered breeder I booked in for an ultra sound, three days before my dog was due to give birth. All I needed was to confirm the exact amount of pups due. The nurse the day before couldn t give me an exact price the day before for the X-ray. Upon arriving to the vets the rude vet told me it was a $70 consultation fee and $190 for the X-ray. All I wanted was the X-ray. He argued that I had to pay $260. Then when I said no, he made a lie that the X-ray machine was broken and I would have to wait tomorrow if I still wanted it. I walked out, rang Bachhus Marsh vet and got in straight away for just the X-ray for $110, no consultation fee. Avoid these greedy Melton vets at all cost because it will be your hip pocket left hurting!

Well my old mate passed away last night after being in this place 3 hours before. I said multiple times to Henry vet that my dog had something in his throat and he ignored that and said if not vomiting now won't and gave pain killers for sore leg and said might help with this throat issue as well. So lost my German Shepherd of 8yrs and also mum doesn't understand how the vets didn't pick it up. I'm at vet now and no one in charge to speak too and wont get them to call till tomorrow. Well had to talk to lawyer to get money back on last time they saw my dog and got refund 120 bucks haha but dr Henry killed my dog simple as that. Was told would get feedback from investigation but that didnt happen. Reported vet to vet board but without cutting my dog up wont get far so yeah stay away from this place

took me dog to the vet and they told me Roxy needed surgery. Took me dog to another vet outside of town and they said Roxy was fine, no surgery needed, told me Melton was wrong.

Always fantastic service, care and advice. Plus the prices are reasonable (not cheap, no Vet is!). If struggling to pay, have a chat. Animal welfare is #1 with Dr Hang & staff, as it is for us who love our furry friends.

Had been a good vet, Henry was a great support when I had to euthanasia my old girls at different times. BUT today I arrived for final immunisation of puppy and they had cancelled my appointment. Despite discussing with the vet only 2 days ago to keep the appointment Kim at reception couldn't care less. After the thousands of dollars I have spent at this clinic you would think there would be a bit more loyalty to their customers, particularly in the current stressful times.

I've been going to this Vet for 20yrs and never had a problem till now. My jackrussell had a swollen paw & he's been hopping around with pain but the Vet on the day took my dog into another room to cut his toe nail but left the swollen nail long also she said there is nothing wrong with my dogs swollen paw but there was another problem with he's other leg and would need surgery and has had this problem since birth.. i so don't believe this is true as iv been taking my dog here for 9yrs and another dog for 10yrs. And not showing be in the same room is something to be unbelievable.

They are so pleasant to deal with! Honestly the best service I've ever had. Always treating my fur babies with so much respect, and they were able to give me 4 extra weeks with my 2yr old cat who got FIP, by catching on early. Their advice is never tainted and they tell me if I can get something cheaper elsewhere when Im financially a bit short. They have made mistakes before, but they are still human at the end of the day. Rectification of the mistakes are usually quick and at a low, if not, no cost solution for me! I'm going to be moving a little further away soon, I really hope I can still attend this vet! And to the 1 negative rating (wish I could reply, Google!) they are not an emergency clinic. You would have had no problems with your financial situation if you had gone to an public emergency vet hospital. I go there regularly, the signs around the waiting room stipulate their bill settlement policy, if you did not agree, then you should not have been there for the emergency. The closest one is Werribee or Sunbury, and yes that's far, but unless you're financially in a position to afford local, private, emergency care, you probably shouldn't be having pets... These are beautiful people who have never left my babies in pain, because I obey their policies and use the credit card if I'm a bit strapped... That's what you call 'Responsible Pet Ownership".

Two weekends ago on Saturday i take the puppy in spasms and the vet try to hold him to put it down ,lucky my son grep him and got it back with out medication only with herb tee his now all right .has been bite by a red back

If your in a tight spot and have no alternatives - this vet may be ok for you. Otherwise, go elsewher. Was quoted $450 - ended up being $850 total for 3 stitches. I had a dog cone to prevent unwanted wound licking from the last visit to this same vet, I told the vet that I had the cone they gave me last time. She told me the cone was too small and would need to charge me for a larger one (dog weighed the same on both visits). The vet lady spoke to me in a really condescending way and didn't seem to make the connection that THEY messed up the size of the cone and then jammed me with the bill. They ended up overcharging me for the cone anyway and told me they'd credit me during my next visit (but I'm never going back). The dog was taken with his lead to the vet during this visit. They told me he'd been naughty and chewed his own lead ang broke it. I translated this to "we've not monitored your dog properly while he was in our care". No offer of compensation for my lead was made whatsoever. All in all - they're money hungry in my opinion, luring you in with cheap quotes then jacking the prices rite up. They seem a little sloppy too. Avoid if possible.

Went back the other day and for some reason the meds only cost 53 dollars but yet added an extra 153 + the few for my actual visit! I never left money owing only just for the meds so I ended up paying over 250! Thieves!!! Oh and only take aged concession cos single parent families and families with children with disabilities that need a pet companion don t count even though you have a pension concession! I have to now send my dog an hr away to see my original vet because these guys are charging me 400$ more than my other vet! Seek alternative vet that actually cares about your family members pet and not how much they can suck out of your wallet!

Love taking my 17 yr old to the vets , it is always flatchat there , in which to me says that they are good value, the vets that is!!!?? So glad I did find this one as I'm disabled and cannot // don't like to take my dog to Baccus as two difficult/far if you do not have a car!! Receptionist is always of great help and most of the vets appear to know what there doing with a smile on face

I have been going to this vet clinic for more than 10 years and have received excellent care for my pets at all times. Dr. Hang in particular has always been courteous and professional in his service giving me plenty of confidence in knowing that my pets are well cared for.

Because they didnt want to do an operation they refered me to a animal hospital that is an hour away, it was an emergency they didn't want anything to do with it.

Have always been amazing with my two cats, thank you so much guys/gals, always professional

Had to have our beautiful dog Stella put to sleep on the weekend..the staff were so compassionate and wonderful. Tonight there was a card in our letterbox from the clinic signed by everyone that works there..it was so beautiful..Thankyou so much for you compassion.
