Best view in Melbourne, the additional experience ...

Best view in Melbourne, the additional experience "the edge" is worth. You pay and book the entrance to the room suspended in the void, then they give you an electronic pager that vibrates when it's your turn. You enter the room completely opaque and, when it is outside and suspended in the void, the glass suddenly becomes transparent. All seasoned with sound and air conditioning. Then you take the picture and go back into the skyscraper, always connected by a door in case of panic. It is not possible to bring cameras and the like in the transparent room.

$51 for me and my daughter to do the Edge experience for her birthday, needless to say it seemed bloody steep!
When we bought our ticket they told us one hour to wait for the edge experience. An hour seemed reasonable so up we went.
Once you're up there you do your walk around the small space where sullen and empty eyed people are waiting for their turn. After the first 15-20 mins you've seen everything and you join the masses of zombies waiting for your turn.
The experience itself was actually pretty fun, with some good scares and a couple belly drops. Although expensive it was good, I'd just recommend going outside of busy times (weekends).

Incredible view up there. Price of admission is quite high but it's definitely worth going to at least once. I would recommend paying the extra for The Edge experience, unless you are afraid of heights. Or comfortable with heights. It's pretty terrifying, but in a good, memorable and fun way.

Just one of the places u must visit in Melbourne. Try to go early as much as u can. The sunset view so so good. U can stay all day with one ticket. It's a coffee shop there (water, coffee, drinks, muffin) just lite stuff. And the price is normal.

Good experience, worth if you are getting some coupons, else a bit expensive for what you pay for.
Even the lighting inside is not controlled, so taking photos always ends up on glare...

The skydeck has a really good view of Melbourne .. it's worth it..

As for the EDGE it's totally crappy . Small box .. and they don't even let you take your camera or phone .. try to rip you off by selling you a picture of yourself .. avoid it .. waste of money
The edge gets one star rating !!!!

Very cool experience with the Edge. Amazing 360 views of the city. The Edge is a cool experience to be moved outside the building in an enclosed glass chamber with views of city hustle below.

The view from atop the Eureka towers was absolutely stunning. You could see nearly the entire city and it was absolutely amazing. I recommend everyone near the tower to go check it out however the glass floor attraction is something that you don't necessarily need and is meant more to lure in kids for a quick adrenaline rush. You see enough from all the other locations on the deck through the glass windows spread throughout.

Nothing exciting. You have to pay extra for everything. Its too costly. I would-not recommend this place. The glass were very dirty and scratched, you could hardly see any clear view from the edge. You are not allowed to take your phone with you .

Amazing service, great food, good wine, best view of Melbourne city...literally felt like on top of the world. Good value for $$$. We spent our 5yr wedding anniversary and couldn t have chosen a better location. Degustation 7 course was quite filling!!

If the views were as interesting as the cocktail menu that would've definitely been a plus. I went up for the drinks flight which put us in a cosy little booth with a selection of 3 cocktails from their menu all of which were quite interesting, not just for a sweet tooth.

Unfortunately the service went from awesome to feeling like I was forgotten and then switching back and forth during the time we were there.

Overall it was a good experience however the cheese nibbles were a bit underwhealming for the money, but the views + cocktails was a nice way to spend the evening before heading out to dinner.

We have decided to celebrate this New Year's Eve of 2020 in the Eureka Tower Melbourne. It was a kind of spontaneous decision, but we truly enjoyed the time spent there. We purchased a golden ticket, which gave us access to both of 88 (eurekaskydeck88) and 89 (eurekaskydeck) level floors. The theme of this Eve was a Great Gatsby and many participants were in the 1920's dress style accordingly. We liked the music on the 88th floor more than on 89th, it was making the holiday atmosphere even more enjoyable. The views from this tower were stunningly mesmerizing. Melbourne at night has a very beautiful and unforgettable appearance. Especially the fireworks! We could see almost all details of it from a bird's eye view.
The waiters served delicious snacks and alcohol, both were included in the package. There were quite a few people, but the rooms were quite spacious, and therefore there was no discomfort.

Very interesting experience.
We were really satisfied and impressed.

A must do while in Melbourne. Great views of the city and with information and what your looking at all the way round. Fairly priced for a tourist attraction. The edge is an intresting experience and can be little scary but it's very safe.

I liked the place the view was really good, and then there's a VR experience for free. There's also this Edge experience which takes you higher with glass all around you, would not recommend it for people with fear of heights and claustrophobia.

However, it's a bit expensive, considering there's not much besides the city to look at. For students/seniors/pr it's 22, but for adults it's 25. The view is amazing but that's about it. I feel a little irked about the price but going there once is enough.
