The best look out platform I've been to. Besides of the awesome view on the entire city the place is very friendly and cozy. There are some couches and a cafe where you can sit down and enjoy the view.

The views were great, but wished that there was an outdoor viewing area, as some of the glass was dirty. More of a problem was the reflection of the sun off of the glass, which made it tough to take the perfect photo at times. I went in the morning (around 10:30am) and it was early October (early Spring). It might be better to go around 12 noon when the sun is over the building, instead of shining into your face. Nonetheless, it was worth the visit, and helped me to see the places I was planning to walk to later in the day. A great place to start your trip.

Unparalleled views of the city skyline. Be sure to go when the sun is setting to have amazing pictures and sights!! Take your student cards along for some discounts.

Pro Tip: if you hold your washroom needs, you can do your thing in Melbourne's highest Hole

Been here a few times in last couple of Years spectacular views of the City from the Skydeck viewing area on Level 88 well worth seeing the City from here

Great for taking photos as well or watching a Sunset which have done as well

Will definitely be back again

Phenomenal views and very interesting facts provided on the visit about the tower. Unfortunately if you're a photographer like me or wanting to get good photos the mirror-like windows make it nearly impossible to take a quality photo without the reflection of yourself and others. We thought the edge experience was over-priced. If you are visiting Melbourne though this was definitely a highlight. Was just a shame about the reflections.

Essential place to visit in Melbourne. It costs $20 but I would say its very worth the money. We went for sunset and stayed up there for and hour and a half.

If your going to take photos bring a polarizer, cause it be reflective in there.

Nice place to chill and take in the sights of Melbourne city. Add $10 for the edge experience! Which is a view of 80++ levels below your feet! Quite scary because of the music haha (as tho the place is falling apart).

Very roomy compared to Sydney's observation deck, nicely planned, not just a circle, easy to view everything. Recommend coming before sunset to see the city, then see the city lights when the sun is down.

Do not pay for the edge!!

Do not pay for the edge!!
You are not allowed to take pictures, it is boring and the pictures they take from you are boring to... And they charge you 25aud for a digital version to download

The skydeck is great! That would get 5 stars

Providing panoramic views of Melbourne the Skydeck on the 88 floor of the Eureka tower is a must do for any would be traveller to the city. A super fast elevator whisks you to the observation deck in less than a minute. If you re not squeamish about heights, there s a glass floor viewing box that protrudes from the side of the building and lets you look straight down to street level. Melbourne s attractions are marked via viewing portholes making it simple to navigate your way around the city. It s like viewing the city on google maps but in real life.

Eureka Skydeck is good place to visit on sunny days. I have tried EDGE experience it is not at all worth it and can be skipped. Try to get coupons from different sources like hotels. It is not worth its value

You could have an extra view, we expected something different. Can be done, does not have to be. The skydeck definitely have seen and visited but nothing more.

On my visit to melbourne, I got tickets to visit the eureka sky deck. I wasn t disappointed. The elevator up to the top is exhilarating and makes you feel like you are in orbit. Even if you do not get the edge add on, there is still a balcony you can you on to where you can feel the wind. The glass windows in the building stretch all around and are very clean. Overall, it gave me a good idea of the outline of Melbourne and I would recommend it.

Once in a lifetime experience, starts from the point of buying the ticket. The lifts take you to level 88 in less than a minute. You will feel like your brain's going to explode. Once you reach level 88 it's an empowering and delightful view. Towards east is the concrete jungle, towards north its the dandenong ranges and towards west is the bay. Visit an hour before the sunset to enjoy the natural and Man made jungle.

Been up the tower many times but wasn t impressed this time as they don t put effort into cleaning the windows. The reason people go up and pay the money is to see the view not dirty windows. Especially as the sun sets it s very disappointing to look out filthy windows.

We went yesterday because the GP was cancelled. If you've got free time in Melbourne I'd recommend it. The price is fine, the Edge viewing thingy is good fun. Check Google and go when it's not busy (would've preferred to have the place to ourselves).

Some may say it's just another tower, some may complain about the blue tint, which I wouldn't disagree. But I personally went up there still and had a great time just chilling and watching the view of Melbourne city. Although I was late for the sunset, but I still got a chance to see the day and night view. It costs only $20 to get up there so I would say it's worth it. I didn't bother to do the edge thing after getting up there though.

Wouldn t recommend The Edge for adults more of a children s ride , you also are not allowed to take your own photos. The lightning within the viewing area is too bright which causes a lot of reflection on the glass. The outside area makes you feel like you are in a prison.
