Highly not recommended, when it comes to the case, they either do not cooperate with the hospital, or they do not cover this lab test or surgery , months pass to find out if they got the claim
They are by far the slowest at processing claims I have ever seen. Not impressed with their customer service
Horrible company. Will deny any procedure or test ordered by a doctor and continuously deny meds. Been waiting two months for med approval and keep getting ignored. The staff should be in prison.
Clean claim was sent and received by them 4/29/19. It was 'processed' on 6/5/19, 'paid' on 6/13/19 and 'payment processed' on 7/5/19, I received payment for the claim today 7/25/19. Took almost 3 months for payment, was literally the oldest claim in our office for over a month! Not happy.
2 claims have been sitting in their system for NINE MONTHS. Every call I have made has resulted in a massive runaround, and instructionsto do their job for them. My physicians are breathing down my neck for their money which I can't afford to send them because of the $8000+ I have to send to Lifestyle health plans for me to do their jobs for them. If your employer offers any Medora product to you, RUN.

The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance (OCI) is issuing this consumer alert to all employers, associations and licensed insurance agents who may have enrolled or have been approached to facilitate enrollment in health products administered by Medova Healthcare Financial Group (Medova) including Lifestyle Health Plans. On December 18, 2020, the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) filed a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas against Medova, its president and CEO, Daniel L. Whitney, chief operating officer, Michelle Willson, and Midlands Casualty Insurance Co. Inc. The DOL's press release regarding the complaint may be found here .
I would give Medova a 5 because I like the wellness programs, but recently, there are fewer opportunities to earn points for lowering the deductible. Also, the recent price increase of 35% for small organizations is way too high, given that smaller organizations are experiencing reduced income during this pandemic. This should be taken into consideration and not charged such high increases at once.
