Medicalodges is the worst place I have ever worked for. Corporate require you to wear N95 masks all day long no matter what. For some of us that work 12 or 16 hour shifts it's torture. The heat is terrible and you literally soak it with sweat and have to change them out constantly. The pay is worse for a CNA than any others in the area. They hire you and tell you that you'll be working certain hours than they change the schedule the same day. So say if I was off Friday then they call me Friday and say hey you're scheduled to work tonight and if you don't than you're fired. It doesn't matter if it was your day off after working 9 days in a row. Someone else calls in and you are the one picking up the slack the managers never help on the floor. It doesn't matter if you have residents that take two people to take care of you're usually stuck by yourself. They treat the CNAs like dogs.
