Appallingly poor service here. I could write a book about how bad this place is but I prefer to move on with my life and try not to think of medeye associates ever again.

I was seen by Jorge Bacallao. As a professional nurse who s worked with MANY physicians of varying specialities, this doctor is the worst. The doctor spent less than 4 minutes with me. Very arrogant, clearly is not interested in patient satisfaction, no time to be bothered by patient questions. Glad my follow up appointment will be with another physician at this location. Really does the practice a disservice by being on this team. Would never recommend this physician to a single person.

We have now been here 4 times as a family and the associates are always friendly and the ladies in the room of glasses are the best! Thanks Med Eye Team!!

The VA booked an Appointment for me with doctor Zachary. I had a 1030 appointment and I drove from key west. I was finally seen around 1130. The first person I saw told me they were going to dilate my eyes. Something I wasn t told prior to my appointment. Luckily I brought someone with me. When I saw doctor Zachary at the end he did one of those hey hi how s it going hey hi hi hey and didn t even listen for a response. Once he looked at my eye he said o do you know you have a cataract? That s probably the problem . I told him yeah that s the whole reason I m here. It wasn t for him to diagnose but to confirm what the va needs. He admitted to me I was his 3rd va patient and he just had his staff fill out the paperwork and send it to the va. He was obviously flustered as he s probably not used to patients interrupting him and speaking their mind.

Courteous and Knowledgeable staff. Got all my testing and results in the same visit. Worth the wait, will be back, definitely recommend!

My grandma visited this clinic yesterday because she recently had cataract surgery and felt discomfort in her eye, after visiting this unprofessional doctor she was told by this inhuman doctor that her eye was fine basically that my grandmother was a liar and didn t have anything on her eye. Today a day later she went to Bascolm Palmer and was told by the staff that she has a huge infection in her eye. So people don t trust this doctor, the only thing he cares about is charging Medicare but not the health and well being of his patients.

They do not respect appointments. They put you on a waiting room with people coughing and if you go for a walk you can t hear when they call you. I had to go twice because the first prescription was not right. They have problems printing prescriptions. Dr Ortiz was nice but you can tell he is on the run. I hope I don't have to go there again. Good parking, bad area.

Every time I can't drive or I can't see I think of Dr Segal. I wish 10 times over I had gone to a professional doctor at Bascom Palmer hospital. Good luck with anyone having surgery with Dr Siegel in South Miami. I would 100% not recommend him to anyone.

I Had an appointment with Dr. Ortiz for my annual check up. Went to the South Miami location for the first time since I always went to Deering. Wow, what a nice place! The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Didnt have to wait long. I was Called right in. I was impressed with the facility and capacity to do all exams there without having to go elsewhere. All Staff is very professional! Highly recommend!
