On leaving we were approached by a lady behind the counter with short blond hair at the emergency room, already with a raised voice she told us that we had to leave the wheelchair 'for which we still paid' DIRECTLY in the hospital Because according to her ... and these are her words: "Yes I don't care at all the patient can just walk" What I find ridiculous to hear from staff at the medical center, while she didn't even know what was wrong with the or what happened to him is because she did not hire us but someone else. Our answer was yes there is still money from us, we put it down below on the shelves so that the person can get into the car straight away. His leg got between a scooter and a concrete block and he REALLY COULDN'T RUN! Then she marked us as "aggressive" and "inadequate" for a conversation because we had become annoyed at how she addressed us. Then two more guards were called who, according to the direction of the lady behind the counter, had to put pressure on us to remove us from the site. Ridiculous if you come into my home for a wound or damage you will be helped properly, a deductible of 380 euros must be paid for a shot, a photo and a plaster. (and that's great, because we knew that his leg wasn't broken). but that when you're done just like a piece of rotten dirt is kicked out I think far from normal. Such behavior should not be tolerated by the medical center. Really Ridiculous for words !!!!

Very good hospital with great staff. Have been there for more than a week as Limburg and would not want to be transferred. Super teams here. And all equally friendly. They really have time for you. You really feel like a patient and not a number.

Very nice hospital. Parking is easy, always place and you are in one go right in the hospital where you are immediately helped if you do not know the way. The restaurant is neat and the food is of good quality, including tasty snacks from the Corazon bakery. Perhaps too little seating space and not always neat.

Small point is the system with blood samples. It is not always clear when it is your turn and where.

1 star is still too much. Hospital does not take the right to healthcare seriously. I am therefore considering suing the hospital. These people do not deserve appreciation and pay rises, but first have to learn to be kinder and do their job better.

Ridiculous toilets. The public toilets have a rotary knob on the tap seriously !!! How unhygienic do you want it in a hospital!

Now there is a protocol next to it that you should close the tap with a cloth after washing your hands! How ridiculous and environmentally unfriendly that is !! Replace those things with sensor taps. Even in restaurants they have this! And not place a bacterium like a hospital? Too crazy for words!

My husband had a gallbladder operation last Tuesday.
What a fantastic hospital this.
The staff is super friendly, accommodating and a good explanation of the doctors.
It was all so well organized.
The hospital itself is designed so that you do not agree with you that you are in a hospital.
Also, all so clean ....
We are really happy that we have been with you for my husband's surgery.
You are great, piece by piece!

The Meander hospital is trying to influence my neg...

The Meander hospital is trying to influence my negative assessment on the Zorgkaart Nederland. I have been treated for almost 3 months. I am not a 'troublesome patient', but to be sent away for 3 months with a higher dose of morphine, doctors who do not consider it important to see you, while the doctor sends you urgently and say afterwards that you might have been in pain because burst cyst, is full with me. Also just before the operation I was asked what is the matter with my blood. Because there was a report in my file, but nothing else. That "something" is that I can't just get a blood transfusion. A small detail.
I was told several times a day by the nurses that I could go home while I could not walk independently. 2 weeks after the operation still pain and unable to walk. But telephone contact seems to be enough. 3 weeks later I indicate at the check that I am starting to get the same pain as before the operation. Advice? I'll see you at the next checkup in 3 months. Everything is possible and everything is possible, is the answer to my questions.
Via my doctor to another hospital where I was admitted immediately, helped and with a regular check-up. That's another way to do it.
But I think this is the worst thing. Via the Zorgkaart Nederland I have a negative opinion and the lowest rating at Meander hospital. This is my experience and these are my location. Within a week I have been called by the Patient Service to see if they can present my complaint to the treating doctor. Great, but it doesn't change my opinion anymore, because they are a bit late. However, I was asked to consider removing my negative rating. A week later another e-mail with the politically correct answer from the doctor and again the request to possibly remove my assessment. That is because I now have a "positive" answer from the doctor. Even now after 2 months, I don't receive an email from now on if I still want to consider deleting my review. They have been kind enough to send me a link. They could come up with this while I had been there for 3 months and not now, trying to score / keep a good score with an A4 sheet afterwards. Or to motivate patients more to give an assessment, but that is HONEST. Because patients have the right to also give a negative assessment so that you can learn from it.

My delivery was dramatic here. Too few staff so I had to do everything without pain relief. Staff let me fight for six hours before they decided to vacuum extraction, after I screamed everything together from the pain. Improperly cut, bleeding, placenta was not released so still to the OR. While I had a hemorrhage, I had to take off my sweater, did not want to cut hair cut (so stimulate bleeding?). For three days no one has seen the medical team that has done the delivery. Felt a product, terribly degrading treatment. Hospital talked about this several times but they mention that they kept to the 'protocol'. It is a pity that it is forgotten that this was a person with feelings. A year later I still walk with complaints. They have taken me away so much, that can never be made good again.

Good care. Doctors take you into decision-making and are prepared to discuss everything properly. Nursing leaves something to be desired. They explain a lot under the guise of protocol. Afterwards I found a lot of emotional nuisance. I did not want my daughter to take a bath after her birth. Was protocol so they did anyway. Daughter had a fever but had to wear a hat because that was protocol. The staff had to feed because they could not be built more than once every 2.5 hours because that was protocol.

After a night out that ended with a glass in the face, they closed my wound like a bunch of bunnies here.

The result is a pretty scar on my face that will always remain very visible. The insurance does not reimburse recovery from this because, despite nerve pain, it would be cosmetic.

I would like to be invited to discuss a solution! However, this may be performed elsewhere as far as I am concerned.

My first visit to the Meander hospital was by ambulance, I had a heart attack, two stents were quickly and skillfully placed with me and three days later I was home again. The photos of the CT scan detected something in my lung. Re-admitted for lung surgery in August. Later I was told that it was about cancer. My thanks to all employees and volunteers cannot be described in words. Top Hospital !!

The past week we have been fantastically cared for...

The past week we have been fantastically cared for (after the birth of our son) by the staff. They really made sure that our first maternity week felt like home. Furthermore, the facilities of the hospital are really great. Chances are that when we have to go back to the hospital to go to Amersfoort instead of a hospital in Utrecht

The still new hospital has furniture from the waiting rooms from 40 years ago. Very poor non-ergonomic furniture. Do not go there with back problems, because you long for pillows and a lying place to run. It has been offered to me once. The available wheelchairs do not have an area to keep your leg straight. The doctors are generally fine ... you don't have to stay away for this.

Cozy all-inclusive resort with friendly service. Rooms are a bit sterile but functional.
Very much enjoyed a pleasant stay. Be careful with intimate moments, as the involved staff come in regularly. The privacy is the only downside as the staff, as mentioned above, walks in unannounced and wants to know everything about you.
Not suitable for children due to large quantities of drugs and sharp objects.
Would book here again 5/7

After being transported to Antonius Nieuwegein with ambulance (see review Antonius of 05-02) and sent home twice with serious heart problems. In the evening still included in the Meander in Amersfoort.
There I was taken seriously the next day and there is a stand placed !!
Totally top with super staff and skilled doctors.

Modern hospital. You are in a nice single room, neat and tidy. Good private bathroom. Very friendly staff.
What is archaic is that you have to pay to be able to watch TV as a patient (really out of date!). At first I didn't want to believe that it was, being used to the Catharina Hospital in Eindhoven.

Today again at the Meander hospital. This time with Assistant physician Dr vd Berg. What a friendly people. Good explanation and very professional. Also for the administration, Ina has made the arrangements for me. You don't have to go after anything anymore. Where do you still have that. Do not like to go to the hospital, you almost go there with pleasure. Really worth it. The surgeon Dr. cash is also very professional, she knows what she's doing and what she's talking about. Fat 8 for this hospital.

a real pity that in the Netherlands and at such a modern hospital the first aid is so worthless.
first time in my life that I felt so lonely and powerless while I am supposedly well insured and meander amersfoort has a separate department and separate entrance for emergency care, but it seemed that we were at the bicycle repair shop to ask for medical help, so strange they all stood looking at us at the reception while my wife couldn't breathe.
receptionist asks for ID from my wife while she needs urgent help and I was also not allowed to get it, I was not even allowed to leave and they also need to see ID.
Dear staff and the supervisors of the meander, please hang up a board at the Emergency Department that ID card is required.
Please keep in mind that a patient in the emergency department needs help and may be panicky so please do not disappoint him or her and refuse them because that person has no other choice if you have been rejected.
yes, they rejected us and i had to take my wife to utrecht for dead normal treatment
really a drama.
at UMC they did not believe us that we had been rejected by meander first aid.
in short, I wish everyone health and happiness and hope that people who sent me and my wife to meander in utrecht at the emergency department yesterday will read this.

Assistants are often unkind and not friendly on the phone, Arsten who do not take you seriously or do not know what they are talking about is really a very bad hospital. The one does not know what the other did or said during treatment. They also say that your Menstrual complaints are between your ears or in your head. I don't know anything about care / nursing, as a care provider I regularly call the Meander MC. Me and colleagues notice that the waiting times for answering the phones to the outpatient clinics are extremely long. 10 - 20 minutes on hold is quite normal. for us that is a great annoyance.

3rd surgery, excellent surgeons, but what a worthless care in the nursing ward.
Are too tired to read your file and act accordingly.
They question the surgeon's rules and act themselves.
The only plus is that you have a private room with shower & toilet.
So ready with this hospital! Last time I have been there.

It's a nice familiar place to be. The staff are always nice and they always want the best for you. There is plenty of parking for visitors and everything is accessible for the disabled. There is a restaurant in the hospital with good food and ice cream. In short, a great place to be and to lie!

My father is a cancer patient, there is nothing wrong with that at the time, but is mainly treated in the C5 department as 1 or another randdebiel, wrong medication, or no medication at all, very unfriendly staff. I personally would not die yet want to be found sorry, but in a hospital people are not without reason a bit of kindness and a smile would do so much more for people and reading comprehension is really an issue, all medication is registered in the computer, so how difficult is it? to give the right medication, .. you really have to stand up for yourself and have a good chat otherwise they will simply give you something else or important medication just won't, .. shame

Unbelievable how bad a hospital can be. Sorry for those few people who do a good job, because they are there.
In recent years this hospital avoided because of malpractice at the birth of our daughter and basically everything after that has happened in this hospital. The communication is very bad, and empathy also there is no trace. In the waiting room seh and the plaster room barely fit a wheelchair. When you turn you listen the next patient less than 2 meters it from behind the red line. Really very embarrassing for everyone. I'm glad our daughter survived meander time. Now for simple injuries again been at the meander because it was not so difficult.
This was really the last time.

With our son at the GP and emergency room because of a broken arm. Thoroughly and professionally helped. Every employee asked first if he had received anything against the pain and, if necessary, adjusted the pain relief. Very child friendly. It was very busy at the emergency room but he got all the attention needed!
