Awesome team of nurses, CNA's and administrations. Love working here. Feels like family, same with our residents.
I appreciate everything the staff was able to provide for my grandfather while he was there.
This facility has been a life saver for my family .
The staff on the 3rd floor is deserving of high praise, my mother is being treated like a queen,
As a family we highly recommend Meadowbrook for any family that needs special care for a loved one.
My grandmother wasn't at this place for long. Sadly my grandmother passed away almost 2 weeks ago. And up to this date my mom nor I have received a condolence call from this facility. My mom went to pick up my grandmother's belongings and no one from the facility came to speak to my mom at all. My mother asked to speak to someone and all she was told is someone would be there. And no one showed up... It's sad to know and think that my grandmother to this place didn't mean anything. Besides this she wasn't taken care of right. She waited a while for someone to take her to the restroom and to take her out of the restroom. She wasn't showered the days she was supposed to. Over all this place is not good for any loved one.
I was there two weeks ago (mid-March 2016) for physical therapy rehab. Everyone was very nice to me but the temperature was very hot and there was a very strong floral spray in the air. I thought the food was mediocre, meeting dietary guidelines but not appetizing. Shortly after I arrived I had an asthma attack requiring a breathing treatment so I decided to leave. The bed malfunctioned while being lowered and fell about a foot to the floor in a big crash. I would never go there again and I would definitely not recommend it.
Do not bring your people here. After repeated attempts to get the services straightened out, still nothing happened and no one ever knows anything. One staff member has tried to be helpful, but just too much is wrong for this to be a place to bering your loved ones. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It is shameful
I was POA for healthcare for a good friend. When her health deteriorated to the point she could no longer care for herself, she was referred to and admitted to Bolingbrook Meadowbrook Manor. From the first day she was admitted to the day she passed away a little more than 2 wks later, she was treated with compassion, Dignity and respect. She was always clean, with fresh clothes, and when she first arrived and was still eating, the food was well balanced and tasty.
Thank you to Meadowbrook Manor for making the final days of a very sick lady a little more bareable.
Staff is outstanding. 3 RNs went above & beyond call of duty. Food is bad but staff very good
My mom was here for about a year and a 1/2. She started out in rehab and then moved to long term care due to her ailing health. I believe they did they bast job possible. The nurses were ALWAYS very friendly and willing to answer any questions I may have. They called me all the time to keep me posted of her condition, even if she scraped her hand, they would let me know they addressed it. Each persons needs are different, and the individual care plans were reviewed every few months. Everyone that I met there was friendly and always willing to help. Even the guys at the front desk were pleasant. If you find yourself in need of a nursing facility they are helpful, it is not an easy thing to have to do, put a loved one in this type of care, but many times it is the best thing you can do when you are not able to care for them yourself. All the other family members I met that had a loved one there, said to make sure you stay active and engaged in the care, advice I took to heart.
