Hey guys, good for all the students giving great remarks. I don't know if the school has paid you. I must say i was in the nursing program , ( the set that started 2005) the teachers were very bad. Everything was very difficult, out of 50 students that got into the nursing program only 15 students or even less that graduated from the program. Judy Murphy was very racist, no room for improvement. It was a very bad school. I will recommend another school any day any time as matter off fact the school needs to refund money back to students that paid for tuition. All they care about is your money and not the students. It was a very traumatic experience. It was one of the worst decision i have ever made in life to attend that college. I Owe up to 100,000 in debt with no nursing degree to show for. I thank the Almighty God i got my degree from another school with no stress or frustration. Guys open your eyes and look for another school. I wish you all luck in your careers endeavors.

I just finished my second-year in PharmD program in MCPHS. I m gonna transfer to Worcester to study the accelerated program. I have had great time in MCPHS so far. All professors are very nice and friendly. I haven t met any professor who s not willing to help student wholeheartedly. They always have office hours to answer students inquiries and to clarify the lecture in case the students don t understand. There are absolutely no discrimination in MCPHS. It s all about respect. Every MCP student is very welcoming so we have a very close-knit community in MCP. The program is well-designed and bearable. Sometime I feel overwhelmed but it s not impossible to pass as many people say. You just need to put time and effort and you ll be fine. In short, MCPHS is a great university for those who seriously pursuit a professional career in pharmacy and health sciences.

They care about the money, not much of the students. Much like any other college. A lot of fees they do not tell you about, and if you can t pay it, it s like screw you too bad so sad. It was a horrible experience for me.

Typical mediocre private school. Only cares about your money and not you. Adjunks that can t speak clear English so very difficult to learn. (Actually had to have a fellow student translate calculus for a teacher because the students couldn t understand the broken English). This product is definitely not worth the cost.

I am Saudi student who is currently studying in the PharmD Program at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University. MCPHS University has the best school of pharmacy in Boston and New England. I believe that MCPHS has good faculty and they help students to learn by using a new technology like videos and do online homework. Besides the good quality education, there are many international students that will help you to make many friends and figure out other culture. I strongly recommend for any student who concern to study pharmacy or health sciences, put the MCPHS University as a first choice.

I am a current PharmD student at MCPHS. The school has a really great Pharmacy program and all the faculty is very willing to help you. Also the faculty is very versatile and diverse and the school shares some professors with Harvard Medical School too. I chose this school because I personally prefer a small college. The student professor ratio at MCPHS is 17:1. I talked to some upperclassmen who are in thier 5th or 6th year in PharmD program (PharmD program is a 6 years program) and they said that MCPHS has prepared them well for NAPLEX. One of my favorite parts of the school is that the school is right in the city. You have so many things to do in Boston. The T (Boston Subway system) station is right in front of the school so you can easily go to anywhere and explore around Boston.

It s unfortunate that I have to write this review ...
It s unfortunate that I have to write this review but I am in hopes of MCPHS revising their admissions process for the Physician Assistant Program. I know that I was not the only student this year that was invited to interview and then closed out of an interview spot and placed on a waiting list. When I contacted MCPHS they told me that I may not get to interview after all as they had accidentally invited too many people to interview and did not have the resources to open up more interview dates even though acceptances are not on a rolling basis. How does a top tier medical university not have the resources to interview all the students they invited? By choosing to interview solely the people that happened to secure spots first, not only are they limiting the potential of their incoming class and proving that they only care about filling the spots for monetary reasons, but they are limiting the future of numerous successful students who worked hard to get an interview invitation. When I asked Jordan Hunt (admissions counselor) to make sense of this she was unable to provide a competent answer besides that the university messed up and the incoming students are the ones facing the repercussions. I m not writing this for myself, but for the other students who were too timid to speak up or who had chosen this school as their top choice and then got screwed. I truly feel bad for some of the other incoming students who do not have other options and were relying on MCPHS. I am very disappointed. MCPHS either needs to change their interviewing process to rolling acceptances (interviewing the top tier students first and then going down the line) or they need to use this model but be willing to open up more dates in case of overflow. Side note: They informed me that students on the waiting list could be notified up to a day before an interview that a spot had opened up. Do they not take into consideration that everyone doesn t live near Boston or works full-time? Extremely dissatisfied with this supposedly top tier medical college.
I've never leave one star entire of my life and I'...
I've never leave one star entire of my life and I've NEVER EVER met the most cranky GATEKEEPER like him at the main entrance .
I'm college student who is seriously considering to transfer this institute after this semester with 3.7GPA. I've been this place this weekend with my bunch of friends who are attending this college and seems like every students are studying really hard and focusing on to reach their dreams.
Let me tell u guys my story. Well, just like this When you go to restaurant to have a dinner, If the restroom is not cleaned up well, u might do not wanna have a dinner there. Now I'd like to tell what I felt at the first visiting there and wt I've experienced.
When i get into this college, I got a visitor sticker. I went outside and when I come back to take my stuff he said I can't get in without my friend who is attending this institute. I said okay and waited til my friends come. There is no signal so I couldn't use my phone and I cant even get in and out without electric ID card.
That means, I cant get in out and unable to contact to him(my friend) cuz no signal.
I was being stuck and I asked to the police and the gatekeeper guy to let me just take my stuff and get out of this place then. My stuff was just 10 steps from there. They both made sarcastic and gatekeeper said no and my friends finally came and he keeps mumbling and get mad at us for no reason.
After taking my stuff and when I get out of the place, he has my ID card and he grabs it and he didn't get it back to me right away. He was bending my card multiple times and knock it on the table while he suddenly talking thru the phone in front of me. I'm sure I was being polite to him but whenever I see him, he seems like really unstable and being rude. It was weird.
Both of them who work there and being rude to visitor. And they are the only ppl who I met. I'm not gonna apply this college cuz I dont even have to know how any other ppl who work there are nice or not cuz even the guys who u will meet everyday as soon as u get into the school r being rude like that, guess how ppl who work there will act.

My experience at MCPHS has been very enjoyable and productive so far. The classes are tough but help is always present when required. The faculty is very versatile and knowledgeable. The area is safe and when I'm not studying, there are plenty of things to do around here!! The bonds I've made here will be with me for the rest of my life. MCPHS is a fulfilling place to be if you want a future career in healthcare.

Might be a good school but I will never find out. Took 2 weeks to get through to an academic counselor. When Rachael D. finally called me back, it was the most curt, rudest conversation I've had in a long time. She acted like the basic questions I asked were an insult. This is how she advises? She might have been having a bad day but mine was no picnic either. I'll be spending my money at a different school.

I am not sure about undergraduate education at MCPHS, although from what I witnessed first hand, the students appeared to have a very challenging, and thorough education. I myself attended graduate school at MCPHS Boston, and I am now looking to pursue a doctorate at MCPHS. I felt that my education at this institution was outstanding, and that the faculty were very knowledgeable, and helpful throughout my time there.

I must say that nobody on staff there seams to care about the students needs. Most of the staff "docs" are not there or care to be there. They are there one month then a new doc the next. The office staff ie: dean, asst dean and further down the chain Jan, Heather do not know what they are doing and are they even qualified for those positions. Cant even get a schedule of my classes together. I will not recommend this school to anybody. The only ones that were ever helpful were the sectaries'..

I am an exchange student from Brazil through the Brazil Scientific Mobility Program and I think Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University is a great school! I had some difficulties during my the first exams, but the faculty mentors are really well-prepared to help international students like me. My advisors told me where I could find help, and how to prepare myself better to the next exams. I will definitely follow their recommendations.
MCPHS is also an international university and has students from many countries, so is a great place to meet friends and get to know people and cultures from different parts of the world.

The reason why I choose Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) University is because of the 6-year accelerated pharmacy (PharmD) program. Such a program is not offered in China, where I am from. I think it is a right choice for me, because my experience at MCPHS has been good so far. I learned many useful things in my classes. The professors here are very friendly and patient. I love going to their office hours to ask questions and to have conversations with them. Science classes make up a huge part of in the PharmD curriculum and most of them are not easy, but the professors make these subjects easy to understand and fun.
This year I am taking organic chemistry and medical biology (both are very hard classes). The biology professor is very humorous and he always gives us fun scenarios to help us understand theories. My chemistry professor offers excellent examples, which helps me understand the class concepts better and do well on the exams.
Although our school is not very big, there are many activities. During the school week, you can always find clubs or the school holding some interesting events! I prefer movie nights, the comedy club and block parties. There are also professional events that are might be helpful in one s future career.
