The picnic areas haven't been serviced all year. They are absolutely filthy. Wooden steps leading down to the covered picnic area are in disrepair. As well as trash everywhere, concrete steps in need of a sweeping and no or not enough trash cans in picnic areas. Most of these things fall under the responsibility of the Park Rangers. Read their job description. Instead they run around hiding in the bushes stalking people like a couple of creeps. Part of their job is park rules enforcement, PART. If they want to be police officers they should apply at the police department, which is right across the street by the way. Doesn't look good! !!! The park or the creeps.

Such a cute park with a wooden playground structure for children (suggested age 12 and under). As a warning to parents -- the steps are quite steep for little ones and the spaces narrow. Overall, it's a great playground and as a nice bonus the public library is on the same grounds!

Wonderful park with awesome fort play structure to keep the kid's entertained for hours. We all loved it.

Right next to the library with beautiful old shade trees and the single coolest play structure in the entire state.

Mac has some down sides, but this park was really nice. Just off the award winning downtown by the city library. The old Mill playground is great, my kids loved the castle feel. The trails in towards to the lower creek area are littered but picnic seating is plentiful and cleanish.
