Nurses are incredible- compassionate, warm, knowledgeable, and really take the time to get to know you and go the extra mile. Big props to the L&D team. Doctors are phenomenal as well. No exceptions, everyone was amazing over dozens of different care providers we had here.

I would this ER zero stars if I could. On July 19, I was in a really bad bike accident. For over I haven't been able to walk on my own, I am sick all the time, I am always falling down. On the night of Aug 17, I went to the ER and waited two hours in the waiting, when they finally took me back, the Doctor came in the room, not wearing a mask. The Doctor. Shut the the door and just started yelling like I was a child. He said: I think you are just dizzy. I just told: I have been dizzy for over a month. He yelled at me: get up out of that bed and walk to the door. I almost fell to the floor because my balance was completely off. He yelled at me: oh turn around and do it again. He asked me: why did you pick tonight to come in? Why tonight? I told him: because my symptoms are getting worse. He said: all you are is dizzy. Over the next two weeks my symptoms got worse, so I went to Riverbend. The Doctors there actually listen to you and he discovered postconcussion syndrome. He said: I need to have some therapy to restore my balance. He said: when you have seizures and you hit your head it can a time to recover a you often will get a concussion especially when you take medications. McKenzie Willamette ER is horrible!! The Doctor was verbally abusive with me and he completely misdiagnosed me!!! He was completely in the wrong in more ways than one!!

My visit there was fine. The billing was not. At the end of 2019 I received a bill for $250 and called to pay it. I was told on the phone that my insurance covered everything and I owed $0. After many months I received another bill for the $250. I called and was again told I owed nothing, that the paper bill was a mistake. 6 months later, I start receiving bills again. I've tried calling at least once a week for months and no one answers the phone now. I've left messages, asked for return calls, nothing. Crickets. Now they've sent me to collections. I finally reached someone today, and their response was basically "Oh yeah? Prove it." I will absolutely never visit this place again. It's not worth the detriment to my credit score.

Edit: After reading this review, a representative from McKenzie Willamette reached out to me and helped resolve this issue. She dismissed the debt collectors and allowed me to pay the $250 without a detriment to my credit.

I was very sick so I went to the emergency room due to other doctors not wanting to care for me. The emergency wait time was minimal! The doctor who saw me took amazing care yeah! He realized how sick I was and gave me proper treatment!! If I could give 10 stars to Mckenzie willammett hospital, I would they are great!!!

I went the ER with a knee injury and can say it was the best experience possible! Every person I came in contact with was fast, professional and very pleasant. Bed side manner was amazing! My RN and the young man that helped with my brace took my cues of humor and were smiling and laughing with me. I was lucky enough to go in while Dr. Wright was on shift. He listened to me, addressed my injury, but mostly fully explained my issue which my primary did not. If Dr. Wright ever became a primary physician I would be his first patient.

I was suffering from heat stroke and was rushed to McKenzie Willamette by ambulance. I was scared because I didn't know what was happening. My body was on fire, I couldn't stop vomiting and I had the most horrible case of vertigo where I was seeing double and triple!
The medics were so kind, specifically the gal in the ambulance. She had a great attitude and was very thoughtful.
The staff at the ER were SOOOOO personable and upbeat. Everyone was super friendly and explained exactly what they were doing. They all made sure I was comfortable. There was a whole crew of people monitoring each section of my body making sure I was staying well.
The doctor came in multiple times to talk with me and she sat down next to me, looked me in the eye and talked to me, not at me.
I am unemployed and don't have any insurance and they quickly sign me up for emergency OHP. What a lifesaver and what a huge relief in my time of need. They didn't treat me like a second-class citizen. They treated me with compassion and they really genuinely wanted me to feel better.
I'm 50 and have never been in an ambulance and never have I ever had such personable care as I received from the folks at McKenzie Willamette.
I don't want to be sick or I injured but, if I have to be, I want the caring nurses and doctors at McKenzie Willamette to take care of me.

The ER staff was excellent but after being admitted 90% of the staff was awful. They were rude and degrading, it was seemed simple needs far and few between were annoying for them. I ve been waiting in my room for example now for 2.5 hours after my imaging for a soft food menu that was supposed to be given to me right after returning from imaging; once they sent a non soft food menu and the correct once has still yet to come with apparently no follow up. I havnt eaten in 3 days. Yesterday they were calling me a different patients name even. I will never be coming back here again.

My mom was taken to this hospital mind you she is 74 years having falls, blood sugars out of control, having black outs this is why she was transported into the hospital. Their employee who is a friend of my uncles goes into her room and questions her about her personal medical information because my uncle asked him to, now mind you this is an employee of Mackenzie Willamette who is a Pharmacist for them none the less who knows gosh darn well he is BREAKING HIPAA laws but DOES THIS ANYWAYS. When I put a complaint in to the hospital my mom is discharged two days later, which I had to fight so they would not discharge her to home as they were planning but to a care facility until she could get on her feet. When she arrived at the care facility they documented how my mother was not well and everyday she kept declining, on the 5th day my mom was so sick past what a skilled nursing
could take care of she was transported back to Mackenzie Willamette triaged and then sent to Riverbend Hospital (thank GOD for that) because this hospital would have let her die. I know this happened due to me making the complaint about the HIPPA violation. Now my mother is fighting for her life at Riverbend to get better due to Mackenzie Willamette Hospital negligence. PLEASE DON'T TRUST THIS HOSPITAL WITH YOUR SELF OR YOUR LOVED ONES NOT ONLY WILL THEY NOT TRY TO FIND OUT WHAT IS REALLY CAUSING YOUR ILLNESS BUT YOUR PERSONAL PRIVATE INFORMATION IS NOT SAFE AROUND THAT STAFF.

Sign on the suggestion box reads Caught in the act of caring I sure wasn t feeling it! Wasn t even a piece of paper to write a review to put in the box. Rude staff and filthy emergency room with trash all over the waiting room floor. My wife arrived by ambulance at 5pm and it s 8pm now and they still haven t let me see her or gave me any indication on her status. She was in bad shape when she arrived. She s 68 and she said she thought she was going to die. I wouldn t want that to happen before seeing her one last time.
