The Director and Teachers make this place amazing for children. So warm and inviting, they have captivated our daughter in just a few days time. The facilities are fantastic for fun and learning. The staff has really thought of everything to help support working families.
A great diverse Church community. Pastor Steven does a phenomenal job with the congregation. Well worth a visit if you are downtown. The historic church has many unique architectural characteristics. The congregation has a very long history in downtown Nashville
Great church. I've been attending here for over three years and have no plans of leaving. The focus is on serving others in Christ-like love. The church runs a homeless shelter in the basement, has a free clothing store for the homeless, and cooks a free meal each week. There's also a rooftop garden that's fun to volunteer at.
McKendree has services with communion each Wednesday at noon and Sundays at nine and eleven o'clock. The nine o'clock Sunday service is in Evangelical praise and worship style and the eleven o'clock is a liturgical Methodist service.
McKendree is very diverse: racially, politically, and theologically. Everyone is truly welcome and accepted. All are invited into closer relationship with God.
This is one of my favorite places to worship. The culture of the congregation is diverse. The music is also uplifting and the Pastor, Stephen Handy, is one of the coolest! Although I'm a member of another congregation I still consider McKendree my family too.
Pastor Steven has a devine love for God and for serving those in need.
The upstairs people are great, but the pastor is SO CREEPY!
