McKays bar and restaurant Review

Loved my lunch in hear,it's been a while since we've been out so I couldn't eat all my food but what I did eat, I loved it.

covid precautions were fantastic, the food was able to be ordered via the app which we downloaded at the the hotel. when places started doing this i tought it was a bit of a faff, but i guess it'll come in really handy when visiting busy places, it'll save fighting for a space at the bar so i think these new ways of ordering should be maintained post covid.

also the hotel looked dog friendly so i think i'll happily return with my four legged we pal.

Just returned from a great 2 night stay staff are amazing and so is the food will definitely be back

British female staff member never smiled throughout our dining experience. We asked 2 questions and she was almost to the point of being rude. The foreign staff female was delightful. Such a shame when businesses are looking to build back up. We wont return.

Great food and service. Rooms very clean and well presented

Nice welcome, great atmosphere and a cracking combo meal. The steak was tougher than Mike Tyson but I enjoyed the rest of it nonetheless. Don t like dogs in an area where you eat, I find it unhygienic, hence three stars

Courteous and helpful staff, very attentive!.. Food was average, potions were more than ample! Would recommend.. And I wlll revisit in the future.

Very pleased with our lunch. Food tasted great and it was served quickly by the very friendly staff. Restaurant is dig friendly. There is also a car park at the rear, however it was full when we visited but we found on street parking nearby. Happy to recommend McKays
