People need to not work for this place line leads are rude to the workers and office personnel need to have a attitude adjustment I have a piece of mind to send osha and department of health to location
Been in door since 2am it's 845am slowest unload ever one pallet every 10 minutes
I have never had a problem here they are always nice and friendly and get you out as quick as they can ... I have only been there long then I thought I should have once and they had a bunch of deliveries that day.... no complaint from mister grouchy.. and I have been there a lot

The reallocation program sounds great. Until you learn we haven't worked 40 hours in 6 months on second shift. Thier line leaders can't get 40hrs wow
The food was great. I have no words for the food the food talks for it's self you have too sand for a little but it is worth it

For delivery my Appointment was 9:00am and I showed up there 8:00am, I got door by 12:15pm and now 1:45pm still waiting to unload
It has very low standards to begin with. There isn't any structure or rules. Things change daily. Supervisors aren't professional at all. Employees do what they want because there isn't any penalty. Employees upstairs hardly come downstairs to see the progression. High pace job with little breaks. I could go on and on but if you have some type of professionalism and education this job is not for you unless you have patience. Oh and not to forget the salary paid workers only get paid for eight hours if that even makes sense.
First the broker screwed up appt time but thanks to security lady..... I got in and unloaded within a couple of hours .. thank you
11/9/20 8am appointment 3 pallets sat 2hours 45 minutes at gate told its going to be a while before they give me a door get to the dock there was only one truck already in... I get paid 20 a hour for detention waiting but dam.

You will be grabbed, spoken to inappropriately, have passes made at you and if you report it the company does ABSOLUTELY nothing about it but sweep it under the rug.
HR (specifically the supervisor) is EXTREMELY inappropriate. The company expects you to work endless hours with minimal breaks and do not pay for the work. The supervisors lie & use intimidation to keep people on the floor. They terminate people even with documentation. They hire illegals and then terminate them when they think a sweep is coming. It is VERY black and white here, if you re black you bessa know ya place boy and if you re white, well I m sure you ll be promoted to a supervisor position. Oh and if you re in jail? (manning) you got it made, you re an assistant supervisor as soon as you come in the door. The 1st shift production manager is a redneck with little tolerance (think of the characters from American History X) and the 2nd shift manager belonged in Clueless . This doesn t even begin to touch the surface of this place. If you re thinking about applying here, save yourself NOW.

Things to remember
- They don t have restroom for drivers
- They will ask u to give your cell number and they will call u when unloading done
DONT LISTEN TO THEM
No one will call u.. when I checked the light was green and waited for 30 minutes for any associate, no one showed up.
So I stepped in warehouse and I was surprise to see the lady who was using forklift to unload the truck was sitting and was eating peanuts and my shipping papers was on table in front of her. I asked about bills and she said here they are . So mean
They didn t even bother to call u.
I had a family emergency my mom had a stroke. Broker called them and informed them of the delay. Was at the gate at the eta I gave them which was 1345. At this time I'm still at the gate and the time is 1559. Several trucks have been let in around me. I hope if these people have a family emergency they're not treated like this afterwards.

I was harass alot by one of the Assistant supervisor name Jason Torres. He is racist when it comes to Blacks and Mexicans.I reported him to Manager( Pam Ruff), HR and the manager of the company and he still there and Pam have his back. She is nasty too. She loose people in her department all the time. So enter at your own risk. Now it your not working in the tomatoes slice area then you may like it.
Mine experience was good . I have read previous comments all of them are so bad . Let me explain my experience ....it was awesome, actually i was almost 3 hours late . My appointment time was 8 am (eastern time ) but i reached at company at 11 am .... first of all i met with security guard ...he was very gud and helpfull ....he checked the paper and gave me dock ....he gave me #15 dock than they took just only 50 minute to unload my trailer ...after that i got my paper work in my truck .......that was my awesome experience .......
Worked at Mcentire a couple years ago and it is the worst place to work. Very low pay compared to other facilities, terrible management, they let the employees do what they want. Very racist culture wouldn't recommend working here to a bum with no other options.

I arrived early parked in driveway and I was unloaded 1 and half hour after backed in dock.
I currently work here and this company work you 8-10 hours but don't pay enough and only give you one 45 minute break, they let you off early but don't give you the hours and don't let you work over 40 hours so basically they cheat you out of your money . I wouldn't recommend anyone to work here , the only good incentive is you get paid every week.
Don't show up late for your appointment or you will spend some good time here , they work slow motion and you will be a work in.
1am appointment checked in 11 hours early .
Got on door at 1.25am checked out at 4.30am .

Slow worker. Come and sleep at least 5 hr. They think driver has no other work.
It sounded good to work and move up for this place but I quit because I was told I can't go get new gloves wich takes 5 mins but the rules are nothing in pockets bht the line leader expects you to pop up with gloves out of nowhere. One of the main rules is we're the freaking gloves and hair nets. I was being yelled at and warned by QA to put gloves on while my line leader was telling me no. I made extra effort to not have a mess of boxes on the floor when I came running back from replacing gloves or restroom too so it wasn't that I disnt have thw time to doit.
The produce is superb and is an excelling place to work.
Joining the club of harassed drivers, these peoole need to learn from warehouses like Costco, which will increase their productivity and thus profitibility.

Quick unload, check by 0740 out at 0900, great people, nice and polite from guard to receivers, make sure load has a seal 200%.

Was there to drop a load. Reached there at 9.12 pm. Did not get a door till 7.00 am the next morning. After backing up at 7.00 they did not start loading till 10.00 then they took another 2 hours to unload 20 pallets. They Got no driver s lounge or restrooms. Plus the security guards are very rude.they don t give a damn if u ask them anything.
Great place if your company does drop and hook with them. If not you are in for a long wait to get loaded or unloaded.
Iam a truck driver , I had too bad experience here I show up on time , they give me dock in 2 hours , after got the dock , it takes them to unloaded me 6.5 hours bcz they order produce but not having space in side the warehouse to keep stuff in it , & not let me use there restroom , after I told him to let me go petro truck stop guard not let us leave the property till I am empty my load , after request he is angry like I ask something wrong to use restroom

This is a manufacturing plant that makes various types of prepackaged salads and vegetables. Very nice facility. I only deliver farm fresh, high quality veggies from California and Arizona to this establishment.

This is the first time we have had to wait to switch out our trailer for Cooke. We bring this load straight in from California per McEntire's request. The gatekeeper got an attitude and then became rude. Aug 27th 4:21 a.m. NEVER HAVE THIS ISSUE. We are ready to get home so we can get ready to go back out. We have had 4 McEntire Loads in the past 5 weeks. Never get treated like this. They use to treat McEntire loads in California top priority but now we wait hours to load just like we do for any other company which is fine until we are treated like this upon delivering the product. THEN HE LETS US UNHOOK AND THEN COMES TO TELL US TO PUT THIS LOAD AT A DOOR AFTER WE ARE ALREADY HOOKED TO AN EMPTY. The lady never gives us an issue and is thorough and knows immediately if the load needs to go to a dock 1st.
They are a regular customer of ours. Always a drop and hook there. The folks at the security shack have always been great.

Delivered here long time ago and it was long... but this time wasn t too bad at all, 2 hours and I was out of there. If you need to reach RECEIVING DIAL EXTENSION 2873. You will thank me later because appointment times at this place had to be double checked cuz they can be different from your confirmation. Good luck
What is the deal with the new security guards in the office at the gate? They have the driver write down all the information just so they can come out and verify what we write down. That is redundant. They said they replaced the other people that weren't doing their job. The other security guards before walked out and checked all the information theirselves and wrote it down. Every new security guard has bad mouthed the other security company. They should verify information off the bills of lading against the truck/trailer/seal. They never check the reefer fuel. We are here every 3 weeks or more for Cooke Trucking and drive as a husband/wife team. The switcher was riding around while I was trying to drop and hook in my way. He did not move any trailers, then he went and sit in the dark.

My boyfriend used to work for Mcentire and he got sick and they told him he either works or gets fired. He was throwing up and everything. Went to get a doctors note and they still fired him. Horrible place to work. I really dont want to give them a star.

Why do I have to give this place a star?? They expect workers to follow the GMP guidelines but supervisors on second shift do NOT follow them hardly at all!! What gets me is the management won't do anything about it!! It is a joke.. They are supposed to set an example towards the workers---not!
