McDonald's Canada Review

This McDonald,s restaurant made me feel about an inch tall on my last visit they had about yen employees come to the window to check my order i will never go there again olus my order was Wrong!!!!!!

Maybe it's been a while but portions seem smaller and prices kind of high for the fast food...

I went to the drive through to get a gift card and the cashier said i needed to come inside to do it . But i waiting in line for almost 10 min. why cant o et a gift card in the drive through it makes NO sense.

On two occasions now I had money in my hand and still couldn't get food. One time the line was too long with only 1 cashier while other workers just stood around smiling at people. Line was simply too long so I went home. Second attempt the cashiers were all closed and I was told they were "working on the system" for the next 15 minutes. Again, went home with nothing. Whoever manages this place sucks, you guys are losing money.

This is one of the original McDs in Richmond.

It has undergone several renovations for modernising the interior as well as the grounds.

Food is the same as at any other McDs.

The place is quite inviting.

Food is okay by Mcds standards. I'd avoid going at night though, it's scary.

This renovated McDonalds looks amazing. However, just as others have mentioned, service can be very slow. Sometimes it looks like everyone in the back is running around like crazy but nothing is actually getting done. At lunch be prepared to wait.

It's McDonald's. In this case, the first McDonald's ever outside of the US. A recent rebuild has made it smaller, busier, and the staff is more prone to mistakes than before. There are lots of McDonald's in Richmond. Go to any of those instead.

Since their renos, this McDonald's is the best one in town! The inside is very nice, with a huge variety of seating. Employees are efficient and friendly, and the new drive-thru is quick and easy to drive through. The inside feels very modern and much more upscale than I have been used to at a fast food joint.

Like McDonald's in high-end restaurants, you can go anywhere 24 hours a day.

Usually alright. Some careless staff messes up the order, some do it well, some dont. When they get your stuff correct things that are within their control are generally 5 stars. When they mess up - theres room for improvement to say the least :).

This McDonald's now does have an indoor PlayPlace :). the indoor PlayPlaces are the BEST parts of McDonald's restaurants.

Beware going late in the AM's. Chances of seeing flying burgers and pattys are fairly high; alot of people tend to want to scrap, but the staff have got your back. Overall, good place to go for some late night.

Definitely not fast food. This has to be the slowest fast food place ever. Just dismal. It's open 24 hours because it takes them so long to fill orders.

Great play area for kids. Good place to take kids and spend couple of hrs

Just ordered a large coffee with 2 cream and 2 sweetener at the 7120 No 3 rd Mcdonalds.

Received a hot water with 2 cream and 2 sweetener.

Sigh ... i suposse things can only get better from here.

Renovated with a modern look on both exterior and interior but definitely much smaller than it use to be

A pretty average McDonald's. Clean interior, and quick drive thru. Nothing to complain about, really.

Ordered on July 13th 12:30 a mobile order & drivethru pickup. Got home and found the junior chicken I orderer was missing & they gave me hot mustard sauce instead of bbq sauce. Only 3 items in the order how could you possibly missed that?

It is a McDonalds sometimes you just have to have it, Drive through is the way to go at this location

Before it was big and comfortable, now it's small and crowded, seats are small so you want to get out asap! The location is the same in size but more like a food court now. The first McDonalds in Canada is now so disappointed! Don't even mention the food quality, I want my childhood back!

Everything ok, besides the staff that really make you feel unwelcome. Same thing like other said about the cleaning guy happened to me. He was circling me, cleaning the area and when he came close to the table I was sitting at, he started slamming the chairs on top of the tables beside mine.

To top it off, when I went for a refill, he kind of barricaded the area off...my stuff was still at the table. My breaking point would've been him touching my stuff...

Everything is pretty new. The only downside to this location is that it s almost always busy and there aren t always enough tables.

It s relatively hard to get employees attention sometimes. When it s busy they might ignore you even though they re standing right in front of you or say not my job/station

The restaurant has been renovated. Modern feel and comfortable.

Disgusting, crowded and slow. I've been coming here since I was born, and it's gotten worse over time.

Slow, sloppy service. No/little seats available, lots of teens hangout at night

Crew are very nice , food is fresh , Apple pie is wonderful

It was packed at 1130pm and there was some guy yelling at "someone* for stealing how invisible bags....

They have a wonderful play area and drive thru which are scarcely available here

Very spacious compared to most McDs so its a good place to kill time. Has a few big screen tv. So its not bad for meeting up.

A 24/7 McDonald's, what do you expect?

However, I would say it's better than average ones.

Except there was one night, took them 20 mins to pass the order to me when I saw my order was just sitting there and being passed around.

After all, it's Canada's first McDonald's. Worth a visit.

It's a typical McDonald's..but it's dirty bathrooms speak volumes..food is extremely horrible..to much grease just thrown together..

The kids love the play place and the staff keeps the place clean

Ever since the grand reopening. The drive thru here has been the consistently fastest drive thru in any McDonald's I have ever been to. That deserves a five star. Other McDonald's I would rate 2.5 stars in terms on drive thru speed consistency.

I don't mean just going through the drive thru only 2-3 times. I mean going thru at least 10 times.

It's McDonald's. You should know what to expect. Drive through was quick and accurate.

As busy at it is they are quick and service is great.

Was there at 10 30 pm and it was still full with patrons and kids.

Was excited when it first reopened... However, now I realize how terribly designed this McDonald's is. Where to start? The parking lot is a mess; granted, they have a somewhat narrow property to work with... Most parking stalls are considerably far from the entrance. For the drive-thru... You have to complete a whole circuit to get to. The inside is extremely cramped. Especially compared to the old one. You can not find a seat during peak traffic. A, for effort in the design scheme, but it screams IKEA. The men's urinals have a terrible design, that maximizes splattering no matter the precaution. Which in itself, is an engineering marvel. This problem is not exclusive to this McDonald's, as they all seem to be implementing this terrible unit, in all renovated restaurants. Will be avoiding this one at all cost. The one on Blundell is much nicer.

Interior and exterior is very nice. It also has fast service.

Incompetent staff.

The incompetent staff at this location shorted my order. I paid for 4 wraps but received 3. It took then nearly ten minutes to figure it out.
During this time, they accidentally tried to give me food ordered from the cars behind me.

When we eventually received the missing item, it was the wrong kind. The rest were cold and the wraps were all thrown together and hardly wrapped in the wrapper.

Good food and quick service. Cashiers were very polite too
