Easy to navigate and plenty of variety in the shops

I live here so I get go through here fairly often. This time that I was there I was pleased to find things running smoother than usual, even TSA. Will this be the new norm? Only time will tell.

The airport is alright, but there are still a lot of things closed due to the pandemic.
If you are looking for certain type of food, be aware that not all the restaurants options are open inside the airport or gates.
The rental car drop off signals are a bit confusing, got lost until I was finally able to figure it out.
Overall, the airport is good if you are traveling during the last quarter of 2020!

During this pandemic the airport feels and looks very clean and safe. There are staff constantly cleaning. Everyone I interacted with was extremely friendly and professional.
They have made flying during this time to be very pleasant and safe.

This airport was an okay airport with unhelpful staff to a place that doesn t smell like cigarettes and a comfortable environment. If your the richest person in the world I do not recommend this place for you but overall your traveling somewhere not buying a new home, so yes I do recommend this place. It has good restaurants and reasonable prices, I said reasonable! Not good, Hah! Not to mention we can all admire the beautiful Las Vegas signs and the majestic looking architecture interior and exterior alien things due to the conspiracy s of Las Vegas.

First time here in LV, McCarran is not very busy airport. Counter Service was really quick. From stepping in the front door to checking in our bags & having our boarding passes upgraded with someone at the full service counter (because they have self tagging kiosks as well) then going through the security checkpoint all the way to our terminal took about 30 minutes MAX. The airport is very easy to navigate through. Plus, they have slot machines all throughout which is cool if you have a decent waiting period for your flight. Quick & easy experience!

Very pricey food and beverages, even for a Las Vegas airport.

Good airport. Easy to get around and signs for navigation are conspicuously posted. The only airport I've ever been with slot machines.

McCarran is a study in contrasts.

For the arrivals, there is a spring in the step with bright smiles, thinking of all the possibilities and the fun that awaits.

Juxtapose that against the departures which look like a prisoner walking to their execution.

McCarran has everything you need and even slots for those of you who want one last pull.

For those of you who have never been and are renting a car, you will need to take a free shuttle bus to the McCarran Car Rental Center, which is a 10 minute ride away. Keep this in mind when returning your rental and adding up the time.

You can actually take a bus from the airport to Fremont St. (downtown) for $2. Look for the WAX bus. At the airport, the stops are on the bottom level of the airport (called Level Zero). You can also get a ticket once you re on board the bus, but exact change is needed.

Clean and we'll run. Got right through it and on my way.

Nice airport. Not a lot open right now for food and beverages.

Awful airport. Exteme lack of charging stations. Too Many frequent announcements. Lack of working and any moving sidewalks which is made worse by how big the airport is. If you are late for a flight that is in another terminal you will have trouble making it in time. You will also have trouble if you are unfortunate enough to have to use the restrooms here.

The airport is a bit outdated. More use connectors to charge phones and devices would be nice. Also, not a lot of social distancing protocols in the airport.

I was surprised that there was an enclosed room where I could smoke and gamble inside the airport!

Always love McCarran airport. Its efficient, spacious, designed well, and easy to navigate!

The airport was great, Delta however only had 1 CSR working on 1/2/21 when everyone was trying to fly out. The line was over 100 customers long and delayed our flight by almost 1.5 hours due to people trying to get through the line.

Easy to get through security, and maintaining safe COVID protocols.

TSA went fas even though the line was long. Very well set up.

Cattle heard fed into a single TSA line. Worse, the TSA Pre was "closed"??

Currently under construction and very low with passengers.TSA was a breeze

Great airport to both connect through and fly out of. Wide open layout with a great choice of food and drink, beautiful scenery and friendly staff. Plus you can gamble and smoke which is hard to find anymore. 5 stars.

Great airport. Tons to do. Slot machines and wifi. A plethora of restaurants and cafes. Relatively fast for how busy they always are.

My experience at this airport has been fine.
Kind of old looking building but functions well.

The post holiday crowd was immense. Initially the TSA seemed they failed to anticipate the crowds as the lines for the security check serpentine till the shops on the second floor. But they kept rallying the crowd and (may be some lax with the security checks, and body scans). But it moved fast. Some of the pedestrian carousels were not turned on.. the shuttle bus service to the rental center is a Joke for the holiday weekend.
All 5 stars is for the staff that were really professional and streamlined the crowd.

Ever wanted to go to the Strip, but never had 2000 caps? Don't worry, McCarran Airport has the solution for you. Just follow these simple steps:
1. Just go to McCarran Airport and talk to the guy in the basement.
2. Buy a NCR uniform and put it on.
3. You now pass as a member of the NCR and can now use the monorail (leading to the Strip) without getting shot at.

EVERYTHING IS TOO FAR...FROM EACH OTHER A SHUTTLE FOR EVERYTHING

Vegas TSA checks always packed!!! They know this! why not have every TSA lane open to execute this crowd quicker ? Beside that it was decent experience. Especially around this holiday turkey day 2020

Very cool. What an awesome reception area as soon as you step off the jetway. Slot machines, flashy lights, rental cars in the airport. Sheer excitement to get you started on exploring Vegas. Pretty easy to get around. Everyone was really friendly. So helpful in leading in the correct direction.

We were two hours early for our flight out on Sunday 4/4/2021. Arrived at the security
and one of the belts was not moving. The agents were moving very slowly and nonchalantly. Passengers began to complain very loudly because we had flights to catch and hd bn waiting at least 15 minutes for the belt to move.
Finally, a passenger complained to a supervisor and she said "you shld hv come to the airport two hours early".
RUDE!!!! VEGAS AIRPORT IS THE WORST IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FRIENDLINESS!!

Needs work. Terminal 1 A-gate TSA had no Pre-Check. People-movers were not functioning. Otherwise, teeminal seemed clean and staff was courteous.

Not too impressed with the ramp services.... they had almost two hours to move my baggage from one aircraft to another a distance of 3 gates.... the bags didn't make it and now my work schedule for next week is thrown out until they are delivered (I'm a traveling field service technician and without my toolbox I'm just a tourist! )

Additionally I decided to get a sandwich from the "Port of Subs" sub sandwich seller on concourse D. That was pretty much $15 for lettuce and bread.... it was not good. So in the spirit of Vegas.... maybe better LUCK next time!

I see employees with towels and a spray bottle wiping areas down. SWA gates are requiring masks and most people comply. The airport was way emptier than normal, so my anxiety was pretty low. Hopefully the phase will be allowed to continue like this so we can see whether we get a spike in new cases.

It's not the worst airport. I just expected more from a major tourism destination.

Outstanding service. Great view of the Las Vegas Strip when the take off and landing the plane. Easy to enter and get to the departure and arrival. Great combination of food restaurants. There are some slot casino machines also.

Packed but can't control it but was smooth. The employees was polite...

Multiple tsa lines got through without a problem no waiting

Everyone has been so helpful made going through the airport a pleasant experience. Greg was a great help getting me to my gate. Definately will look forward to traveling through this airport in the future.

I found this airport to be extraordinarily efficient to be as big as it is. There were plenty of helpful employees to gladly offer their assistance and direction. The restrooms and facility as a whole were all exceptionally clean and Covid-19 protocols were being followed. TSA in this airport are the ones I wish to compliment the most...They are BY FAR the most efficient and commomsense air travel safety officers I have seen yet!!! Great job McCarran International and TSA at this airport. I very much appreciate the way we were treated by you!!!

The layout is a lil awkward. Need more specific signage. The bathrooms were clean. Security checks are lil weired but in todays world... better than some...

Purchasing TSA pre-check and checking in online streamlines the process. The escalators, plane train, and elevators are all easily accessible. Great restaurant and shopping options as well.

Terminals were easy to find. They even had a smoking section.

Anything you could possibly want is in this airport.

Absolutely horrible. I am extremely DISAPPOINTED & DISSATISFIED with this airline. My experience was unbelievable!

Good airport, but also one of the busiest airports in the United States! Can be very crowded at times, and even more so on holidays. Keep this in mind and don't underestimate your times! Climate system inside the airport can be improved. Bring snacks, as most airlines charge an arm, a leg, and your first born for food, and so does the airport itself.

Spirit airlines is trash. $110 for 1 carry on and 1 checked bag. Then they wouldn't let me on flight saying I was late even though I was 45 minutes early. They will never get another penny from me.

McCarran remodeled some areas since the last time I came. The new sections look really nice. Be careful on baggage claim. Since there are some new sections you can possibly mix that up. So pay attention. But the new sections look really nice and are functional too.

Always long layovers, cigarette smoke, very few amenities other than slot machines.

Caught a 6 am flight. Airport was clean., well lit, pathways were well marked. In general, all is very modern, and nicely arctitected.

Nice, clean but need more TSA agents to move line quicker.

So far I have no complaints with the air port. Everything has seemed to go off without a hitch. Beautiful place with a beautiful view. Lots of places to eat. Slot machines, smoking rooms and pet relief areas.
