Lightfoot has lost control of the city, she is failing at the basics of the job.

I called the Mayor's office today and request information regarding the lack of computer for elearning. The woman that answered the phone was the rudest individual I have ever spoken with. She hung up the phone on me! I am applaud at her behavior and the treatment citizens are receiving.

Why was downtown Chicago protected , with extra resources while the rest of the city was left to destroy ?

Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson and Organize Crime Anthony Riccio. In light of public statements made by these two professionals, in a recent article condemning Facebook for not participating in their "Sting". Please take the time to review the Constitution of the United States. The Citizens of this Great Nation have several "Uninalienable Right". We can certainly agree violating Our Nations Constitution is not to be tolerated. Especially by those members in Our communities who swear to uphold it (Police/Public Officails). I certainly agree gun and drug running are a bad actions for any community just the same as Harboring illegal aliens and redistribution of wealth by giving benefits to those who have not followed Our Great Nations Constitution! If there is additionsl information that comes out that Facebook violated legal court orders I will be happy to change the rating of my review and update my post. At this time no fact bases evidence is available only statements of shaming by the public officials listed above. Thank you for your time.

It is important that everyone get involved and contact your federal, state and local government officials on a weekly basis to voice your opinion.

I'm a City of Chicago taxpayer and no one answers the phone at any city office except 911. Ridiculous. Can I fire everyone since I help pay their salaries?

The Tactful handling of the Chicago Teachers Strike is extremely sensitive matter. Mayor Lightfoot is doing a great job. She could raise property taxes in Chicago to pay for Chicago Teachers like every other municipality.

The MOB activity makes Chicago look like a Third World city. Trump and his rally are denied Freedom of Speech while protesters - some of which were not even US citizens get to break car windows, stop traffic, and block entrance to the Expressway.

Glad he cancelled his Rally. Next time he will be holding it outside Chicago - I will make a bet on that. Schaumburg, Hoffman Estates (Sears Centre), or some other place.

I have been trying to get in contact with this office for over a 2 years, I have sent so many forms through the public website and have never gotten any kind of response. If you have a way for citizens to contact you, why don't you respond? We take time out of our lives to vote and in some cases for the mayor only to get nothing, not even a robo-automated response, nothing as far as we hear you and are working on it or even a generic thank you reply, that's probably the easiest thing to set up but you get nothing when contacting this office. If you work for the citizens and very few take the time to reach out why don't you take our messages more seriously? From ward changes to basic city services that never happen, I would think citizens who take the time should be given the time back. All I have ever tried is to make things better, and the alderman, ward managers, the 311 operators, the city management, no one takes any of us seriously and thats a shame as we never get to not pay our taxes when the bill comes in but what those taxes go to pay for never come full circle. Do a better job for your citizens, go after dilapidated properties that bring down property values, go after citable offenses that bring revenue to the city, treat all building the same, if you have to have a sign on your rental building for contact information in Lincoln Park why don't they have the same standard in Douglas Park?

When contacting the office, it would be very helpful if a follow through return call or e-mail would be received. Without a response of some sort, the reason for the call is where?
the issue ? No one knows if someone is investigating, or if it was "round-filed". Feedback
is so important. There appears to be none once an issue or question or comment is
given to this all-important office.

Under Covid19 , how is the City of Chicago handling Local Liquor Control commission public notice Objection letters from the community, when the city government offices are closed? I called 311 and they couldn't answer my questions. I was transferred to the DEPT. of Business Affairs & Consumer Protection & No Answer. Very frustrating.

This message is for the people living in Chicago, please request the assistance of the national guard, to patrol the high murder areas in the city.

If I could rate this office zero stars I would! We just got our property taxes and they just skyrocketed! Am I going pay for this mayor's and the previous mayors money problems with the schools and pensions of police and firemen? Hell no! Not this homeowner, here we come Dupage or Mchenry County till we get get out of this bankrupt State! This mayor of Chicago must think the people in Cook County are idiots with this tax hike! Most likely this is going to backfire, cause the tax revenue will go down because people and businesses will flee Cook County!
