Mayfield Dinner Theatre Review

Food was very good for a buffet. Show was entertaining. Service was good. Good value.

The food was good and the show "Noises Off" was great. I'll definitely be back again.

The Mayfield Theatre gas excellent shows with talented actors and actresses and singers. All music is performed live and all songs are sung by the performers. The staff are excellent friendly and provide excellent service. The buffets are out of this world and if you can't anything to eat you're not hungry.
The staff do not make high wages a d my only need is that people do not tip. To me this is a slap in the face to the people who serve you throughout the show. If you can't afford to tip; stay home. Highly recommend to everyone.

As usual the mealwas great, especially the beef! Had our tix since 1998 and love every show. The 80's show - SUPER!

Didn't care for the October 1 2019 theater presentation. It seemed over acted and, even though the musicians were good, For me, it never achieved that special spark that well done plays have.

Been a season ticket holder coming up to 10 years. Always an enjoyable night as a 'Date' night. Keep up the tasty buffet.

Returned to the Mayfield Dinner Theater for a Sunday brunch performance. As usual the staff was very pleasant, the food very satisfying, and the play very entertaining. Will definitely return.

Saw 2 Good Knights! It was excellent. Food was very good too. Service was friendly.

The band was amazing, the lady playing the keyboards was totally into the 60's & 70's music.

We have been season ticket holders for over 10 years. We have this as our date night to unwind after the work week five times a year

The food here was very tasty. There was many choices of salads and main courses and simple yet delicious desserts. The show included fun music and theme. The only negative was the off color jokes and antics which didn't add anything to the show it just made it lower class instead of high class.

The service was good, the food was great the play was great and i cannot think of a negative for the whole night. Most important is that it was accessible. Great night out.

Went and saw "All Shook Up". Amazing performance, not a bad seat in the house. Wonderul food and desserts. Made for a great night!

Well, I had some misgivings about this performance - theme, new way of dealing with meals, etc. First impression on entering very stark - nothing on the tables and vertical shields separating each level. Disappointed that the menu was different from the one posted - only breakfast type food was eggs Benedict - not one I would choose. However, service excellent and timely. The play was excellent with superb acting. Got well deserved standing O. Language suited the topic and necessary for the topic and over all effect.

Very yummylicious food and excellent performance. Will definitely go back there.

We love the performances here. Was just at Simon & Garfunkel - and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next play in December!

The show was awesome but it was probably the worst service I have ever had at the Mayfield.

The food is quite impressive. One of the highest quality buffets I've ever been to. The performance was fun.

We have season tickets. The meal is a large buffet with fish, seafood, beef, pork, chicken, salads and more. The show is professional theatre and always well done. We much prefer the tables to the booths.

Attended show yesterday afternoon for a Birthday Party. We have been to the Mayfield many times & always enjoyed it! Yesterday's show was so bad people left at show intermission. We stayed till the end to only wish we had left with the others. For the price now charged for brunch & that excuse for a show was so disappointing we wouldn't consider going again for special occasions. The remarks made by other tables and the general response to the show was very poor! The food was good as always but the same could be had else where for less money. The performance left one wondering why they stayed & why such a poor show would even be considered exceptable!

The meal was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the show. Would definitely recommend this venue.

Been here a half dozen times over the years and always enjoyed our experience. Great selection of food at the buffet and the chef was outstanding when he helped me with something specific. Every performance I ve seen has been excellent over the years. Credit to the cast and team of Class of 63: A Rockin Good Reunion , what a fun evening we had this week when it was freezing cold outside. Great job!

I always enjoy going to the Mayfield. The buffet is great and the musical shows are always entertaining. It's a great gift for my wife or to take my mom out. We have used it as a mother's day gift for a couple of years to share.

They are the best for food and entertainment. The food is 5 star . Chef was overseeing all dishes & they were absolutly fantastic!! If you ever eat there; you will never eat anywhere else!!!!

This was our first experience for the mayfield dinner theatre, the 80's show was excellent except that we couldn't see the stage that well , the performance, as other people's head was always in the way. The dinner wasn't bad . Although they should had the dinner with the show , and added more 80's theme songs, as I grew up in the 80's and loved listening to the songs that don't come on the radio any more. Brought back memories.

the show was excellent. keeping you engaged with the many plot twist. dinner was tasty and abundant with very helpful wait staff.

Very cool show the character Nancy ...wow what a voice. Great cast ! The character John totally fit the role.

It was fun starters and appetizers were the only good part for food unfortunately i found. But great atmosphere and entertaining show.

It's a solid 4 at the theatre... Great food, lots of selection and the service is fine. Tonight's show was a 3... have seen better shows here.

Great show, most amazing meal I've ever had. Don't waste you money drinking though lol, ate too much to get drunk.

Right location, pleasant People, the place that I see wasn't average. And a good selection of food in the buffet. Desert also was great. I even ate too much.

One of the best buffet dinners I've had in a long time coupled by a thoroughly entertaining show put on by incredibly talented performers. Great value for a tremendous night out. My only complaint was that we were unable to visit after the show ended as we were briskly ushered out the door.

One of my favorite things to do in the city other than just dinner and drinking.

Fantastic show. Best ever (Million dollar quartet) Actors were very easy on the eyes. Food ,as usual, was delicious. Service was superb. Not cheap but worth it.

The food is always wonderful. Great prime rib, salads and a decent selection of desserts. However the shows leave something to be desired. Other than one show per year that is a comedy or play, all other shows (musicals) are like watching amateur recital night. After suffering through a few too many of these, we avoid this place except the once a year when we can get a comedy or play. Some of the musicals are so bad that you are embarrassed for performers. Production staff must think lights, smoke and graphics will distract the average viewer.

The cheapest price per person on a off night in sub optimal seats will run close to $90 each. Would much rather have dinner elsewhere and catch some act at River Cree or other venue.

Just took in the noon performance of Soul Sistas. Absolutely, freakin fabulous!! This is a must see event.

I've been a season ticket holder for a number of years. I enjoy the shows, especially the musicals. The food is good most of the time. Sometimes dishes are a little dried out. Also wish they'd have more options for salad dressing and add more new items now and then.

The shows are good, as is the food. Brunch is definitely worth it, though the food from both the brunches and dinners crossover somewhat.

Novel place for good food, friends, and light entertainment when the mood calls for it. Never a disappointment.

Exceptional food!! I love the food here. It is such a enjoyable night out and a good reason to dress up. I do like the shows the most recent one that I went to was in Christmas as a Christmas party. Just a fun night and I would recommend going here!

Great atmosphere, friendly and courteous staff, excellent food. The musical theater that is done there is always entertaining and the performers are top-notch.

Family event. Enjoyed by all. The brunch was great, fresh and no line up. I am always late so that might be why...

My family and I enjoyed a great show and dinner last night for my father's birthday. It has been a few years since I last attended a show at the Mayfield Dinner Theater and I was far from disappointed. The facility was clean, updated and well staffed (it's nice to visit a place that replaces its carpets, booth and chair upholstery, wall paper, etc.). All dinner tables had nice clean white linens (tablecloths and napkins) which seems rare to find nowadays, for which I am extremely grateful for and love to see when having a nice dinner out. I usually do not care for buffet dinners, but the food was really very good, nicely seasoned (not bland and tasteless like so many other buffets) with a huge selection of nice salads, veggies, meat, carb and dessert options. And last but not least the show was excellent (Class of 63) was an entertaining show with no lulls and awesome musical transitions between musical numbers (sung by some amazing singers). Great overall performance and experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice evening out and I hope to enjoy more shows sooner than later.

Million dollar quartet was performing and they were good. Way too much food.

Had a staff Christmas party here, it was an awesome experience. The food was fantastic. Alot of work went into preparing it. Roasts were done to perfection, and the gravies were smooth and flavorful.

The performance we saw was very well put together. The music was great and the singers were absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommend attending a dinner and show. Perfect for dates or staff business parties - two thumbs up

I was about 7 years ago and it was pleasent to stay thier

They had a great show in the theatre, the only downside to this was the fact there was a small contained fire in the kitchen just after getting in and had to evacuate. But the staff handled the situation extremely well. Even with this interruption the night was very enjoyable.

The Buffet was awesome but the best part was the entertainment.Live music and performance is so much fun
