Some proves are ok but don't count on buying spirits here. Rum is about 50 to 65% more expensive than that local stores. They do have done special ones though, not available in the average shop.

Very modern but don't take roll ups and rizzla as custom will stop you as it's illegal in Mauritius to have these. Weird laws

The prices are far too high for it is a duty-free shop.
Employees are not friendly and somehow do not feel like work.

Expensive. Much much cheaper on mainland. Prices are in and not in $ or Mauritian rupees. Avoid.

Thank you to the saleswoman Swarovski August 14 at 16:30 for his dishonesty and lack of professionalism! For having announced that all products were -30% is a necklace bought 80 euros which is finally sold 79 euros on the website! A beautiful case!

Things are cheap be wise because some are not. Also please note everything is priced in Euro's and then there is LCD screens which tell you the conversion rates. You will need your boarding pass and passport to buy from here. Cheers to the mauritius airport authority for making it such an awesome experience

Update: issue was resolved in 10 days. MDFP refunded the difference.

Be careful, prices on products are in Euros, but they convert to rupees at the till at a poor exchange rate meaning you pay up to 7% more when using a UK credit card.

Me and my partner had just finished two fabulous weeks in Mauritius and wanted some goodies to take home. I got two bottles of perfume and my partner got some aftershave and chocolate. The prices were fab and the staff were friendly. It certainly was the cherry on top at the end of our trip :)

Cheapest prices in the region. Warm hospitality of the staff always with a smile.

Clean and somewhat competitive prices on fragrance. Some souvenirs were already broken yet on display.

Great prices. Better buy during outbound travel. Inbound (arrival) shopping is much more limited.
