Secretariat campus of Bangladesh Government. The campus accommodates almost all the ministries of Bangladesh Government. The campus is highly guarded and secured. All the administrative activities of all the ministries is administered from here. The secretariat campus allows its visitors to inter into the campus with certain gate pass. The government should provide parking facility for the visitors.

Entrance is restricted. One needs either pass issued by a competent officer or meeting notice to enter here. Yearly passes are issued for employees working here and other high ranking officers who need to visit frequently. There is a two stroried masjid with toilet and ablution facilitate though the toilets are not of good quality. There are also places unofficially reserved for namaj in many buildings. There is a canteen near the masjid.

It is the largest government office in Bangladesh. Visitors usually have to indulge in entry permissions. Without entry permission, no entry is allowed here. The Prime Minister usually visits once a month to attend a cabinet meeting. There are mosques and restaurants. However, the atmosphere here is very beautiful and beautiful.

The Cabinet Division was formed as a department under the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs in the year 42 to provide secretarial support to the cabinet of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Proposal for a new Secretariat[edit]
A new Secretariat in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, beside the Bangabandhu International Conference Center may replace the existing complex.[4] The new building is being considered on account with the design of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban made by famous architect Louis Kahn.[5] A committee to suggest alternatives to the current building has been set up by the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.[6] Four nine-storied buildings with 14-storey foundation will be constructed on 32 acres of land.
