It is a great work environment. The project that I work is really good at communicating. I feel like I am part of a team. Not just a number. I am looking forward to continuing to work for this company!
I'm disgusted to see the rating for this company try to worm its way back up after the way they cast aside their "star" employees as if they are nothing. The people writing these fake five star reviews should be ashamed. YOU are the problem!
The people that I worked with were nice and respectful. Other employees were very rude during the training process and meetings as well. The company does need to work better communication making sure employees jobs are secure. I left a job a well paying job for a better paying job that ended after a month and they had no available projects until late July at least! People have bills to pay and families to take care of! This should never happen with any company !!!!! Now I'm panicking because I'm trying to find something to make sure our bills stay paid... I would have given 5 stars but due to that issue I won't!
Been with mass markets in Iowa city, ia for about 3 and a half years now with that being said; If you re looking for a job that s flexible, fun, has multiple opportunities to get promoted and get recognized by the higher ups by having daily bonuses and commission based on performance (sales) plus side extra $$ in your pockets AND pays hourly on top of that is nice. If you re looking for a job that will not disappoint; MCI is the job.
Would have been a great company to work for if all of the logistics were worked out. I worked well over a month before I even received any pay. Then the contract I was on ended abruptly and with a few hours notice I was without a job. Then I was told to select a new contract which I did to only be notified two days prior to starting that I needed to select something else which nothing was available. Tried reaching out to supervisors and no one would return my phone call nor email. I wouldn t recommend this company unless all of the necessary changes are made to provide a smoother workflow.
I feel the experience has been positive. The training is spot on, and gives a better understanding of the job and makes you feel more comfortable, about the job.
I am very happy working for the Iowa city office. Everyone has been truly amazing to work with. My supervisor s are so easy to talk to and they are helpful and understanding.
If I could give this employer a 0 I would. My story is not unique, even though I wish it were. We recently had finished a project with the CDC and they abruptly ended the project and told us we'd be able to migrate to other projects. Originally this was not a problem, and a lot of us decided to jump on new projects. Long story short, they kept delaying the training for over a month until just recently they sent us an e-mail forcing us to basically resign, stringing us along WHILE hiring new employees for projects, without proper communication.
Thankfully I had the presence of mind to look for a new job while still working for them, so this did not affect me as much as it did other people, however this is incredibly egregious for an employer to be so disorganized that they force viable employees to quit while still hiring and training new ones. This makes absolutely no sense to me.
