MASCOT HOTEL,TRIVANDRUM Review

Slow service. Coffee and lime juices were poorly made. Best avoided.Yet another old time classic, run to the ground.

Great location beautiful exterior since I didn't stay, quality for stay can't be expressed. Nor food quality.

Average. Have only been here once. Buffet is not that good.

People might be reluctant to go to Mascot by thinking that they are over priced. But i recommend to try the place. Its a Govt owned hotel with Deluxe rating. Ample parking space. Have lot of halls ranging from small to big ideal for corporate events wedding receptions etc... Food is comfortable when compared to other big names in the city. Friendly staff is another key area

It's only in the name and brand. Lot of maintenance needs to be done from inside and outside the old building.

Govt owned 5 star hotel. Their sayana restaurant is very budget friendly

Must say the building is has a unique feel of antiquity mixed with all the facilities of a good hotel. We maintained and clean. I was told that they will close for reconstruction soon (demolish the old building and build new one). I think those in Trivandrum should find time to stay there for a day before it closes.

It only has a heritage value. Doesn't feel iconic now at all.

The convention hall is ideal for small group functions. The food from the hotel is of good quality. If you can afford it, this is the best place to go to.

Ambiance is good. but the menu was terrible at cafe in the garden.

The lunch buffet is quite an experience especially for non-keralites

Loved the ambience and service. We had a buffet breakfast and the spread was adequate including Kerala breakfast items like aappam, puttu, idli, dosa etc.Nendrappazam puzhungiyathu was a highlight. May be not much to choose for non Malaysia or foreigners. Overall experience was very good

Hotel does have facilities but everything is in old technology. This is 2018 thay have to adopt something new.... Top class charges with average technology

Muscat hotel has came out from the shell of conventional government establishment working ambience , now capable to compete any hospitality industry in its class , food has improved a lot , property location is very good, keep it up ....

Very well maintained hotel....staff is very polite and helpful.... Great ambience ...well equipped , spacious rooms with great views ..good variety of breakfast buffet... Convenient location .close to the airport.....value for money ...great place to relax .... Had a great stay and will definately be visiting again

A neat hotel with ample facilities in the heart of the city. The hotel has ample parking facilities which is a luxury in the city. The restaurant even though offered great food varieties was a bit cramped and odour was a bit musty.
