Mary-jay Health: Empowering Women and Children through Quality Education
Mary-jay Health is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to serving less-privileged women and children around the world. Our mission is to support quality education that creates hope for an improved community and a secure future. We believe that education is the key to unlocking opportunities, breaking down barriers, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
At Mary-jay Health, we understand the importance of education in transforming lives. We recognize that many women and children in developing countries face significant challenges when it comes to accessing quality education. Poverty, gender inequality, cultural barriers, lack of resources, and conflict are just some of the obstacles that prevent millions of people from receiving an education.
That's why we are committed to making a difference by providing educational opportunities for those who need it most. Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to empower women and children with knowledge, skills, confidence, and hope for a better future.
Our Approach
At Mary-jay Health, we take a holistic approach towards promoting quality education. We believe that education should not only be about acquiring academic knowledge but also about developing life skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, creativity, communication skills as well as social-emotional learning.
We work closely with local communities in different parts of the world where access to quality education is limited or non-existent. Our team comprises experienced educators who have extensive knowledge about curriculum development; teacher training; assessment; monitoring & evaluation; community engagement; advocacy & policy development among others.
We collaborate with schools (both formal & non-formal), teachers' associations/ unions; government agencies (ministries of Education); civil society organizations (CSOs); parents/guardians among other stakeholders in order to ensure sustainability & ownership at all levels.

Mary-jay Health has several programs aimed at promoting quality education for less-privileged women & children around the world. These programs include:

2. Teacher Training Program: This program aims at improving the quality of teaching in schools by providing professional development opportunities for teachers. We believe that well-trained teachers are essential for ensuring that students receive quality education.
3. Curriculum Development Program: This program focuses on developing contextually relevant curricula that meet the needs of local communities while also aligning with national standards.
4. Community Engagement Program: This program involves working closely with parents/guardians, community leaders, and other stakeholders to promote awareness about the importance of education and encourage their active participation in supporting educational initiatives.
5. Advocacy & Policy Development Program: This program aims at influencing policy decisions related to education by engaging with policymakers, CSOs, and other stakeholders at local, national & international levels.
