I went to the winter fair. This disappointed me. Was a little small and not super focused on the winter. Also not really focused on Christmas. Hobby side was much the same. Wool and cards.

Bezoekje gebracht aan Motorbeurs Groningen in MartiniPlaza. Parkeren bij GasUnie voor 0,- is natuurlijk al een goed begin. Makkelijk bereikbaar. Ruime entree en verder nette voorzieningen.

The Martini Plaza at Leonard Springerlaan 2 in Groningen is used, among other things, as a theater, exhibition complex, top sports hall & exhibition space.
It is home to the league of basketball club Donar, member of the Dutch Basketball League.

The Martinihal exhibition complex was built in 1969. After a thorough renovation, the name was changed to MartiniPlaza in 2000.
The new Martini Plaza theater (the old Evenementenhal) had a capacity of 1,600 seats and was therefore one of the top 5 Dutch theaters in terms of capacity.

Since 2006, the Topsporthal has a completely new, extendable business stand with a spacious, luxurious VIP lounge.

In 2010 the restaurant of MartiniPlaza was completely renovated and the name of the restaurant was renamed "Inspirations". The hospitality industry is of an above-average level at reasonable prices. However, you must purchase coins to be able to purchase consumptions.
The Plaza has clean, well-kept sanitary facilities.

The Martini Plaza is committed to ensuring that all its activities take place as sustainably as possible. All newly installed lighting in Martiniplaza is of the most energy-efficient type.
The roof of Martiniplaza is covered with 1800 solar panels.

Parking is fairly easy in the area at reasonable prices. The disadvantage is that after the performance the outflow of the parking lot leaves much to be desired. It sometimes takes 20 to 30 minutes before you can leave.

The MartiniPlaza is wheelchair friendly and there are lifts in the entire building so that you can move comfortably if you have difficulty walking.
Resuming, you can call the Martini Plaza an asset to the northern region.
