Martha's Vineyard Family Campground, USA Review

I loved the campground. Close to everything, but quiet. Nicely maintained. Great strong connection with WiFi! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Will definitely be back.

What a beautiful place this campground is. We stayed for a week in a 2-room cabin in August of 2020. COVID-19 restrictions were in full effect, but we still enjoyed our time at the campground very much. It is very clean, stuff is super from and accommodating. Toilets and showers are clean and conveniently located. We loved outdoor showers, they are more spacious and during a day filled with sun. MVFC is conveniently located close to many destinations. We had a car with us. If you plan to take yours, make sure you book your ferry early since spaces might be unavailable as summer approaches. We booked ours in January. Worked beautifully. Because of that we were able to visit few beaches on the same day, go to Chappaquiddick Island twice (HIGHLY recommended), Edgartown, Chilmark, Menemsha, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Heaven, Tisbury among others. We loved our stay at MVFC and hope to come back next year.

Very nice and clean. Went during COVID and had little worries as everything was intelligently Laid out and very clean. Everyone wore masks. They still continue to have some activities that made sense well employing social distancing. I would definitely return without hesitation.

This is a phenomenal campground! My first day on Martha s Vineyard I had a back spasm while biking and fainted on the side of the road, but the kind couple running the campground was so helpful, they even offered their truck so we could retrieve our bikes. I also really appreciated how seriously the staff is taking COVID19, wearing masks and cleaning/ disinfecting the bathrooms and showers around the clock. Our campsite was perfect too, secluded and quiet, all for a fair price. Comfortable for both couples and families with kids. We ll definitely be coming back!

Amazing Campground super helpful staff who met all of our needs when he when we ran into trouble with our camper. Great for the kids great activities driving distance to everything!

Wonderful experience at this stellar family-owned campground! We were two couples who rented a cabin for Labor Day weekend. Understatement of the year, the staff was amazingly kind and helpful, perfectly prepared for any of our requests, limitations of COVID, etc. We truly can t wait to come back with our kids one day, and perhaps sooner, just to relax by the fire. Thanks!

Amazing! We had a lovely time. The showers are spacious and always clean as well as the restrooms and portopotties. The staff is kind and generous and the store prices are fair. Highly recommend!

The campground is very well kept. The stuff is very helpful and everyone is trying to adjust to COVID rules. It s hard to keep the distance in the restroom area but they have showers outside as well.

They started serving coffee again post COVID restrictions in disposable cups. Coffee is very good, starts at 8 am.
Lots of activities for kids and adults, music nights.

We did not cook on the site still had a few skunks visiting, sniffing around, completely harmless. I was told nobody was ever sprayed in the campground, some people even pet them.

As first-time visitors to MV I got a map at the shop while checking in and the lady kindly marked the must-see places. Visited almost all of them and wow, loved all the hikes and views. It s nice to have guidance when you only have a few days to explore.

Thank you to the people and the campground for their dedication and providing a possibility for regular income people to explore the lovely island.

We had an incredible time at the camp ground! We stayed there in mid October 2020 with 2 adults and 2 kids under 10.

We initially wanted to be away from everyone for an adult getaway but babysitter cancelled so we brought the family instead. Once we told the owners our situation, they recommended to stay closer for the playground, bathrooms, and showers which ended up being the best fit for us!

Even with their very safe COVID guidelines, the owners would check up on us from a distant to see if we needed anything. Quiet hours weren't too early or too late so got to enjoy a camp fire and some wine after a day out on the island. We put our phones away but the internet was great for streaming music and even did one day remote learning with the kids.

We loved our time there and even extended a day because we were having a ton of fun away from 2020!
