Marriott Midtown Suites Review

Massive comfortable suites with clean bathrooms and separate tub/ shower. King beds. Separate living room area with a giant TV. Refrigerator and coffee in room. Great lobby and housekeeping services. Pool could use a renovation.

Very poor service. Stayed there 4 days with only 1 of 3 elevators working. Also, they appeared to be short staffed. They sent the valet guy brought up extra bedding. It appears all personnel wore more than 1 hat!

Their parking is good. Elevators have been a little off this week. Prices are comparable

Excellent rooms. Great location in midtown. It's very convenient for Music Midtown or any other events in Piedmont Park.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. But the hotel in general stayed a little in time and that is noticeable above all in elevators and maintenance. The service of the employees is not entirely friendly nor is there a single quality line. If the service improved maybe one could see with better eyes any negative detail that there was.

Clean and comfortable. Service is friendly. Rates are affordable.

The bed matresses are so old and in bad shape. Trying to get some rest? Better look for another option

This hotel was kind of grimey. Everything was just a little old looking and I didn't feel super clean or safe there. The gym was acceptable and it was lower cost than other marriott properties in midtown. Next time I will pay more for the clubby W.

Room is dirty. Food fell out of the pull out sofa when we opened it. The whole place kind of feels dinged up and dirty. Could use a renovation, at the very least a deep clean.

Had a rough evening of check-in process, getting a broken bathroom issue addressed promptly, and a hotel worker unlocking and opening our door and sticking their head in the room without even knocking. This was the night before the Peachtree Road Race so privacy and rest were paramount.

The hotel was made well aware via a detailed email to the General Manager and while a hotel manager did initially attempt to contact me in follow-up they gave up after 1 attempt (1 vm and 1 e-mail). The vm invited me to return their call, which I did, twice, but I did not receive any further contact. Their email did not offer a return attempt however I did respond, again twice.

As a long-time rewards member who never complains unless there was a real issue I would think an easy fix here would have been an apology followed by points to the account as this seemed to be a comedy of errors on their part and that type of response totally appropriate. String together all the issues and failures and they re fortunate to get 2-stars.

UPDATE: Following this post the hotel manager contacted me via email with an apology for not following up and did credit some points to my account. Most importantly she implied they learned from the events of evening.

A nice casual environment. Stopped by attempting to escape the Music Midtown crowd and found it to be quite pleasant. My bartender was great and made a great Manhattan. The location is in a great location that's closer to other walkable dining and drinking options.

My weekend is not over yet ,I'm loving it so far very nice clean.... Convenient it's near the expressway.

Been here twice. It's my "go to" hotel in ATL. Very well located from Peachtree and the Interstate. Great walkable neighborhood. Near MARTA station. The rooms are clean and up to date. Excellent staff

Hotel was clean, nice staff, clean room with decent size balcony

Check in and check out was very easy. Parking was a little expensive but I guess that's just what you get in Atlanta. Hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the rooms were gorgeous, comfortable, and clean.

Soon as we pulled up we were greeted by valet.....excellent customer service and very helpful. Upon checking in we were given a city view suit on the 16th floor. Pictures to follow after we finish happy hour.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is incredibly helpful. That said, I am really not impressed with paying more for my Internet for three days of service than I would pay for a month at home.

Small suites that are decently clean. They always have refreshments in the lobby and the staff is friendly.

Room is nice, bed is kinda hard, if you like that, but overall very nice

The location is, the room is nice and the service is good but for the price i expected more. For example, the parking is not free and the wifi isn t free. My bed was very worn in and I sunk in way too muchwhen laying down. A pillow top was placed on top of my mattress, so the bed wasn t even a real pillow top mattress. The pillow top would shift around when getting on or off the bed and the side of my mattress had stains on it. To top ot off my room wasn t cleaned for a day because they were under staffed smh during Memorial Day weekend, one of the biggest traveling weekends.

The hotel was nice. Rooms very clean, and the front desk was delightful. The reason I gave this hotel 3 stars was the $26 parking fee you incur while your staying at the hotel. I know you wont find parking in Atlanta without paying a fee, but i find it absurd to be charged extra when your paying to stay with them.

Ordered a pizza for delivery they wouldnt let them deliver pizza to my room. Horrible

My view on the 19th floor was great. Hotel was overall nice but the breakfast waffle and turkey sausage was like cardboard. The staff was all very inattentive and didn't really want to be bothered but Sandra in valet was super helpful and made my stay pleasant. when I needed her help she was very on point and Soo helpful. Overall enjoyed my stay!

This is an older hotel that appears to have been recently renovated, and they've done a good job overall. It mostly feels new and has nice common areas. Hard to beat the location - you're walking distance to lots of great restaurants and businesses. The area around the hotel is in a busy area and feels safe. My complaint -...

The hotel was overbooked but they generously booked us into an alternate hotel.

The rooms are nice for a small hotel room, and they come with bottom sheets (something rare for a hotel). It has some nice restaurants close by, and the staff are excellent.

The brunch has great portion sizes and the wait staff is very friendly!

Traffic was pretty bad around this area, so definitely avoid even thinking you could commute anywhere during rush hour. Other than that, a good experience

Everything was great, a little pricey but that's to be expected downtown Atlanta.

I have got a reservation 3 weeks ago (through Marriott website - never do that). Today when I get here for the checkin 4pm they said I didn t have a room as they sold my room to someone else. They simply didn t inform me and put me in a hotel very far from my appointment. Nothing was done. Terrible chain!

Was meeting someone staying at the hotel. The lobby was very nice and clean, and the staff held luggage for guests after check out, since their flight wasn't until later.

Clean, spacious hotel room with good central location. Staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms were a bit dated, but comfortable and spacious.

Parking was $26.00 a day but it's downtown, what do you expect. Had a great time otherwise, no issues. Will be back.

Well I was just woke up by loud construction going on right outside our room. No one mentioned that this would going on. Horrible

They don't even provide free WiFi which is a common thing these days

Good service.. Parking available for $24 a day but there is a parking lot next to the hotel for $10 a night

Location good for visiting museums or if there on business not great location for experiencing the city

Hotel was contently located off of 14th street, a main thoroughfare but not an overly busy street. I made a delivery to the hotel and it seemed clean, upscale, and well managed. I did not interact with any employees at the hotel to be able to gauge their level of service.

Great hotel.. other than wishing they had a USA Today, it's perfect

Stayed for mothers day weekend and couldn't have been happier. The rooms were perfect size for our family of four. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only drawback is not enough attention paid to the pool area. Not enough lounge chairs and pool area not very inviting. However overall stay was perfect and would definitely come again!

The rooms are large but they make you pay for the wifi

I really wanted two adjoining rooms. I made my reservation online stating my request, and I called several times to ask for two rooms next to each other. When i arrived, the receptionist had no idea i wanted adjoining rooms. To make matters worse they didn't even have two rooms on the same floor! The whole weekend my friends and I had to wait for the elevator, which sometimes took a long time, just to see each other. However what hurt the most was one of the rooms had an adjoining room door. Meaning the people next to us could have switched with the room on the other floor. It was a really important weekend for me and no one at the hotel ever listened to my concerns.

Really enjoyed my stay here everyone was very nice very attentive I came in town for a convention I will definitely stay here again my next go round very conveniently located to everywhere that I needed to go and an added bonus Starbucks is right next door

What an amazing guest experience. Hospitality is on point with every single employee. You can tell the staff really enjoys their career choice. The rooms are tidy and spacious. I can't wait to come again!

Price was decent but the sheets were dirty with holes in them. When we called the front desk to ask for sheets they stated "they would try and locate some". Fine for a one night business stay but wouldn't recommend for more than that.

Great room, great service, took a while to get a working fridge but they did it. Sent a brand new one in fact. Friendly staff that remember who you are and why you're here

Staff was incredibly helpful when we stayed there with young kids!
